We booked Penny's place at the last minute and she was more than willing to assist us. The space is lovely, we enjoyed meals in the open plan kitchen with a view over the valley. The kitchen is well equipped for self catering. The shower was piping hot and clean which was superb on a rainy cold weekend. Full dstv bouquet allowed us to enjoy the UCI XCO races. All in all, an incredibly pleasant weekend. Thanks Penny.

This was our third time staying at this incredibly charming farmhouse, and once again, it did not disappoint. The property is as beautiful and welcoming as ever, with lush gardens, cozy fireplaces, and more than enough space for everyone to relax and feel comfortable. The location is ideal—peaceful and tucked away, yet so close to all our favorite Midlands gems like Fables, Blueberry Café, Terbodore Coffee Roasters, and The Salt Slab. Whether we were out exploring or simply enjoying the serenity of the farmhouse, it was the perfect long weekend escape. Victoria is a wonderful host—always kind and communicative—and the housekeeper is equally fantastic. Everything is spotless and well cared for, and there’s a real sense of warmth and hospitality throughout the home. This place truly feels like a home away from home. We already can’t wait for our next stay!

Great weekend stay over. Beautiful ,peaceful surroundings. The cottage is situated on a herbal farm. Very clean & neat. Well equipped, fresh clean linen and towels. Warm water, internet, books everything you need . Lovely essential room, mozzie and soaps provided such a nice touch. Safe environment for todlers. Absolutely enchanting! This hidden gem felt like a true retreat from the world. The surroundings were serene, and the accommodation was cozy and magical. Perfect for relaxation and rejuvenation. Highly recommend for anyone seeking a peaceful escape. Sduduzo was absolutely amazing – he went above and beyond to ensure our stay was comfortable and enjoyable.
