We enjoyed a fantastic four days in Aris’ place, the views of the plateau and mountains are just beautiful! We felt right at home, and it was lovely to have Aris and his wife physically there at check in, a rarity these days! The images really don’t do this place justice, it is up some winding roads but we were prepared for that having visited the plateau in 2012. We can’t recommend staying here more, we really wish we’d have booked a longer stay! Aris had a fantastic hire car recommendation too, which was also great, and we had some amazing recommendations from them too. Thank you very much Aris!

Lia was so helpful and amazing during our stay. Fast responses when asked questions, she provided us with not only comfort but made us feel like we are at home. We didn’t have a car so lia was kind enough to help us in every way possible. Lia was the best hostess we could have asked for and we are so grateful for her. Definitely the best place we have ever booked and we will definitely be recommending this to others and we will come back for sure!

The villa was just as described. Great location, walkable to the beach and close to bars and restaurants yet still private. We were able to check in early and were met by Maria’s family and all the amenities were explained well. Maria checked in with us regularly and came to clean during our stay. We even locked ourselves out and Maria was very helpful in getting us back in. Check out was also very smooth and easy. Overall a great stay and would recommend it to anyone and everyone!

We can highly recommend this accommodation. It's tucked away in a very secluded spot, which makes it wonderfully peaceful. At the same time, you can reach restaurants and a mini market in just a few minutes. A car is essential! The garden is stunning. The biodiversity is incredible. There's always something new to discover. The house is quite small and simply furnished, but that was absolutely fine. Everything was clean, and that's what matters most. The long driveway leading to the house can be a bit intimidating—it just slopes down without any railing or guard. But that’s just part of the Cretan charm. Giannis was always very friendly and helpful—thank you for everything! We also got to know the neighboring family and even visited them. Such kind people. And the animals! Aphroditi the horse, a peacock, chickens, and turkeys—our daughter loved them. Overall a great experience. We were very happy and would definitely recommend it. Who knows—maybe we’ll be back in a few years!

A real insider tip for those seeking tranquility, nature, and privacy. The accommodation is idyllically located, surrounded by many olive trees and mountains - perfect for switching off. We especially liked the beautiful pool, the well-maintained tennis court and the refreshing outdoor shower - a real highlight after a hot day in the sun. Everything was very clean and lovingly designed. Magdalena was always available and quickly answered all our questions. We felt completely comfortable and will definitely be back! A tavern, a gas station and a small bakery are within 15 minutes' walk. However, since there is no sidewalk, a car is definitely recommended! The nearest beach, Heraklion and the airport are about 15 minutes away by car.

We stayed as a family of six, four adults and two children (8 and 5). The set up was really comfortable and worked perfectly for us. The outdoor pool area is great and our two kids loved it - especially as there were lots of inflatables left to play with. We arrived at 3am. Xristos offered to meet us, but when we suggested with young children we'd prefer just to get in and get to bed, then meet up after it was no problem at all. We had instructions to call when we arrived, and the gate was opened for us. We were blown away by how well supplied the house was. Xristos was in touch in the week before to check if we needed anything in particular and couldn't have been more helpful in making sure we had everything we needed to start our holiday. Then we had a delivery of local fruit and wild artichokes as they were in season. Amazing. There was a dust storm before we arrived. Xristos promptly sorted this too. A great and relaxed place to stay, with an unbelievably good host. Thanks!

We had a super time with Stefani and Antonis. The villa is super, the pool was warm, the area quiet, and the view down to Herssonios and out right to the mountains was lovely. We chose it because it was walking distance to some shops and restaurants. The village is lovely and a short 5-10min walk from the villa. We were at the very end of the season, so many of the restaurants in the village closed, but we always found somewhere to eat. Herssonios is a longer walk away (maybe 30 mins) and has supermarkets, pharmacies, and restaurants galore, even after the season ended. We found the walk downhill to the town, and back uphill to the village fine, even with 2 kids. Herssonios itself didn’t hold much charm for us, but we found a taxi to Agios Nikolas (delightful), Heraklion’s museum (more engaging for us than the Athens archeological museum), and Rethimno (lovely old town, laneway cafes, long stretch of beach) filled enough of our days. And with a heated pool to return to, no complaints.

Absolutely fantastic place to stay. Plenty of cafes and restaurants around the area and very close to Heraklion so easy to get around. Overall extremely affordable and as described with a very responsive host. I would definitely stay again and recommend completely.

This was a lovely and nicely renovated little appartement that was less than 20 min drive from airport in a little village surrendered by beautiful hills

We had a fantastic family stay at this place. It’s so close to a really nice beach, a bunch of good restaurants, supermarket, pharmacy - basically anything which you would need during your stay. And you can access all of these places without a car! House is very clean, perfectly equipped, cozy and well designed. WiFi is very stable, so you can use it for work if you need to. Maria was always responsive and professional. Highly recommended!

We were extremely well received and the host is very responsive and thinking about the well-being of the tenants with an extremely pleasant villa and equipped with all the comforts possible Eleni and manouella make themselves available for any need and offer activities nearby. I recommend it 100%

The location is special, we celebrated it. Beautifully located. Totally quiet and a little off the beaten path. We were feeling absolutely safe. The local restaurants were just open at the beginning of May - it's village-like. Car is necessary. The prices fair, the people friendly. Visiting free-living cats. A cat has born her kittens near the accommodation and feels part of the house. The first micromarket is 5 minutes away, in Gazi (10 min) there are larger shopping opportunities. The bathroom is small and like everything about the house lovingly designed. From the height of 180 cm, the use of the toilet requires some flexibility because of the legroom. The house is a dream if you want to relax and come down.

We visited the house with my husband and my 1.5 year old son and had a great time at Stellina's spotless house! The amenities were exactly what you would ask for on vacation, and the host was cheerful, and I really appreciated the fact that we could find her so we needed it. She was prompt and welcoming. We will definitely visit Stelina again after we already booked our vacation for the summer! We're all looking forward to it!! Thanks for everything Stelina!!

We had a very nice time in Crete and in Marina's place! There were two of us with a child. In this respect, it was very convenient that Stalida beach is only a few hundred meters away on foot. The three of us could sleep well there and have breakfast on the terrace in the morning. We didn't cook - little elaborate food would have been possible. Parking is free directly on the street. The apartment is lovingly and nicely decorated and it was very clean. Communication with Marina is quick and easy. Arrival also possible with code. So happy to come back, warm recommendation. Having stayed in the area before, a quiet location was the most important aspect for me along with easy access to the beaches and a short walk into Hersonnisos. I couldn't have wished for a better location. The apartment was quiet with little traffic noise, compact and clean. The nearest beach was just a few minutes walk away with cafes and restaurants next to the beach. Hersonnisos itself was about 15 mins easy walk. The garden was a perfect spot for some sunbathing on those lazy days when you didn't want to leave comforts of home. It was an ideal suntrap. I didn't need anything from George on my 10 days, staying at Blue Coast Gardens -Juniper. but he was within easy reach with a whole host of helpful numbers and contacts made available, should have needed to contact him. It was great having a large comfortable double bed with good quality bedding and Aircon if it got too hot at night. All the equipment provided was in great working order, the apartment spotlessly clean. Loved it!!

Elias' place is very nice, the small garden is great for resting while enjoying the beautiful colors of the flowers. The apartment is large, comfortable, very bright and you can find everything you need and more (board games). The kitchen is well equipped as is the rest of the rooms. The bedding is extremely comfortable. The accommodation is very clean, well decorated and the cabinets contain things to spice up your dishes, make coffee, etc. When we arrived, a culinary surprise was waiting for us to wish us a welcome. The private location for the car is a significant advantage. The sea is not far and a dike allows you to walk around enjoying the sound of the waves. I stayed with my wife and in-laws for three nights. The home was spacious and we enjoyed having the extra room. Thomais left us some treats in the fridge. A great home base. Note the beds are the firm side. The main living area has Air Conditioning but the upstairs bedrooms did not.

It was all perfect!! The apartment is bigger than it looks in the pictures. Everything is very, very clean and lovingly furnished. There's nothing missing! The balconies are great, I enjoyed lying on the lounger in the sun and looking at the trees. No one can look up at the balcony by the bedroom, you really have your peace here. Just a few minutes' walk and you are already in the lively old town. Nevertheless, you have your peace and quiet here. I was able to sleep well and the bed was very comfortable. You have everything you need here and I immediately felt very comfortable. The hosts are very pleasant and warm. I love Crete and especially Malia and can also recommend this accommodation without restriction. There is also parking is available right in front of the house. Price and performance is excellent!! My family and I were very pleased with Goerge’s place! The location is perfect - it is in a quiet street, but centrally located to the shops, water view restaurants and many beaches to enjoy. We also enjoyed his near by recommendations!

Well I have been to many places but here we felt being right at home! Newly built very nice and cozy villa with great taste of colors combination. The hosts are nice kind and extremely fast responsive couple, willing to help you in any kind of issue even beyond the accommodation. Respect ! My contact with them was like a family rather then a client. Very nice feeling. Definitely would like to come and visit them again. Good value for the money, I would encourage and recommend to visit once if someone would like to come in the area and wish to feel being at home.
