Originally I had been a bit hesitant to book something a 20 minute drive from downtown Burlington, but this could not have been a better spot! It was peaceful and quiet, yet still had great things a very short drive away. Fiddlehead & Folino's pizza made a great late dinner on arrival day. Shelburne Farms was such a treat to explore. Burlington wasn't too far of a drive, and we were close to hiking. We hiked both Mt. Philo and Camel's Hump! Lara was great at communicating and had excellent suggestions. The room and bathroom were both big and clean. The place was quiet despite being busy on Memorial Day weekend- the sound insulation is good! The kitchen was really nice to have and DIY breakfast was good: eggs, OJ, milk, toast, etc. I would definitely stay here again when we return to the area.

Meredith, the manager, was spectacular. She was a warm and welcoming host who took the time to make us feel at home with breakfast and good conversation. I recommend the Inn to every person passing through Blue Mountain Lake. You will not be disappointed!

This was our second stay. We love the location and peaceful surroundings! Lara is a very responsive host, and the accommodations are perfect. We always feel welcome and right at home. Short drive to downtown Burlington and UVM. Even though our child graduated from UVM we hope to be back to just spend time in the area.

Comfortable. Great location for enjoying fall foliage. Fabulous full hot breakfast Sunday morning. Accommodated my partner with gluten free pancakes.

The Blue Mountain Inn is in an excellent location and the inn keeper is really a delight, helping with local tips and genuinely liking her role and having conversations with guests. The inn is right in Blue Mountain Lake; if you are looking to do hikes and be in this area, it is one of the few opportunities you have. Close to Sawyer, Blue Mountain, the museum, Long Lake and Hoss' country store, etc. The inn advertises itself accurately. It is an old inn, with its charm, and also it shows wear. I would describe it as quirky and historic, nothing fancy. It is comfortable and the inn keeper is great, and responsive. Breakfast is filling with yogurt, pancakes, bacon, and a homemade quiche each day. Read the description and see the photos. If you are looking for something fancy this is not it; if you are looking for a comfortable place to stay this is it. It's like visiting your relatives in an old farm house. You don't expect it to be perfect and find the charm. I will definitely come back here. The side porch, by the way, is amazing, especially at night as they lit it up. They even put a heater there for people like me who want to be outside at night and enjoy the surroundings and read a book.

Deborah offers a clean and comfortable accommodation next to an amazing lake. Be sure to bring a boat to explore and watch the sunset. I know I will be back to enjoy the area and spend more time hiking.

It was a great time at the Blue Mountain Inn. Meredith was very attentive and made sure she made my stay comfortable. Breakfast was excellent. Her sweet dog Mango loves scratches and provides a warm company. An old timey and cozy Inn at a beautiful spot right across the lake. Must stay!

We had a great stay at Hearthwood! Blissfully quiet and clean. Definitely one of my top Airbnb experiences! Lara is a fantastic host. She puts a lot of care and love into her b&b. It is easy to see why so many folks are repeat guests! The room was super relaxing and comfortable, we slept very well, and on top of all of this, we met some wonderful people in the shared space! We hope to be back again!

Great spot in the ADK! Marjorie made us a little coffee cake, coffee, and fruit for us. We really appreciated it! Fireplace was very cozy

David was a fantastic host. He is friendly, thoughtful, incredibly helpful and very accommodating. The property is beautifully kept. My room was extremely comfortable (I slept like a rock) and the bathroom super clean. It’s a luxury to be treated so well.

Had an amazing stay in the forest room! Gorgeous view of the backyard from the window in our room. The host and her mother were excellent communicators and very helpful with any questions we had. Hope to stay here again!

My girlfriend and I had a wonderful stay at the B & B. It was a nice warm/ cozy stay after exploring the area. Check in was easy, Randy and Lisa made sure we had everything and provided extra toiletries in case we forgot anything! Randy also makes a great breakfast. We would book this place again!

Allison and her family run the Chalet Whiteface and the onsite pub/restaurant Rudy's Scar Bar. This place is a gem. The staff is super friendly and clearly care (they live there too). It is essentially an old ski lodge (pub downstairs, living area upstairs) with a newer 10-room hotel bolted on. The rooms are just like the photos, clean and comfortable with classic Adirondack wood styling. The bathrooms are not fancy but are super clean and the shower is good. Every room has both an outdoor exit right to your car, and an indoor exit leading to the living areas. The living areas are wild and woolly, it's old northeast ski culture - big couches, fireplaces, a new TV and ping pong. This is not hipster 1980s, it's the actual 1980s. Guests hang out and chat, families play, it's a lot of fun. Having the pub grub and bar just down a secret staircase is such a plus. We were visiting to ski, and you can't beat the location, 4 minutes to the main lot at Whiteface Mountain. Thank you, Allison!

Absolutely wonderful stay! The place was spotless, and the host went above and beyond to make sure everything was perfect. They were incredibly hospitable and quick to respond to any questions we had. It truly felt like a home away from home. Would definitely stay here again – highly recommend! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

We stayed 3 nights at Willow Pond B&B and it exceeded our expectations. The property is probably the most pristine and scenic we've stayed at for an Air BnB. We were hosted by Saskia, the owner's daughter. Saskia was very welcoming, provided wonderful tips and baked delicious pastries. The B&B was super clean and comfortable. The house looked out onto Willow Pond, Le Duc Farm and rolling fields. We enjoyed a stroll on the grounds the first day before heading into Burlington, VT, about 20 minutes away. We visited the farmer's market and rented bikes to explore the Burlington bike path and Colchester Causeway, a trail that takes you into Lake Champlain. After 20 miles of biking, we stopped at the Skinny Pancake for a crepe and coffee. That evening, we ate at Paulines, per Saskia's recommendation, which was a short drive from Willow B&B. The food was top notch. My husband had the schnitzel and I had the scallops. We enjoyed some wine, soup and salad and the price was very reasonable. The next day we drove to Camel's Hump State Park about 35 minutes drive and hiked to the summit. Amazing views. On our final day we visited Shelburne Farms before heading back home to Massachusetts. We would definitely love to visit Willow B&B again, next time with the family. It is conveniently located, has amazing views and welcoming accommodations. Heaven on earth! Our stay was everything we could have dreamed of, as we looked for a romantic getaway. The room was pristine and homey, and we had a full spa experience in the decadent bathroom. Leanne is a formidable chef, and handled our food restrictions with grace. The breakfast was Michelin-star-worthy! And Leanne & David took such good care of us: gave us plenty of privacy but were perfectly available whenever we had a question. They pointed us to great hiking and an excellent bakery. I only wish our stay had been longer. We will definitely return. 10/10 recommend. If you want a luxury getaway, an escape into beauty & elegance, and the comforts of home - this is the place! LOVED our stay!!

This place is a gem! Perfect location for saranac lake and lake placid. We had an amazing hiking getaway here. The Manor itself is a wonderful place, clean and with so many amenities! Breakfast was a huge plus before heading out for early hikes. The family who manages it is lovely! Thanks for hosting us.

This was our second time staying at Leanne’s! We came two years ago and have not stopped talking about it since. When we got married we knew we had to come back to celebrate! Leanne’s cooking is impeccable, creative and delicious. The house is beautiful and she really makes you feel at home. She provides the best recommendations for restaurants, breweries and activities in the area. It is an absolute pleasure to stay and we can’t wait to be back!

Words cannot describe what an amazing experience we had at the Yellow Farmhouse B&B. Leanne and David are the ultimate hosts. From start to finish everything exceeded our expectations. Upon arrival we were warmly greeted and given a tour of the property. The space was immaculate and beautifully decorated. Our bedroom and bathroom were not only spotless and gorgeous, but very comfortable. The location was perfect and our hosts went out of their way to give us recommendations and directions for nearby exploring and dining. We were fortunate enough to experience the fall colors and enjoyed exploring Stowe, Queechy and North Hero. Our 2 breakfasts were among the best we have ever had, Leanne and David go above and beyond with delicious food that is presented in a very special manner. Overall, our experience was nothing short of incredible. We cannot recommend this property highly enough. Thank you for such a memorable stay-we will definitely be back!
