Lovely apartment. Really thoughtfully laid out and decorated. Spotlessly clean. Comfy sofa perfect for unwinding after a day exploring the area, as well as a nice bed & bedding, plus a very smart bathroom. Great location just a few minutes walk away from town with its shops, bars and restaurants (and boat trips, of course). Flat has everything you could need and feels nicely secluded and private, and there was a parking space too. Highly recommended.

Abigail’s is the most beautiful home! We visit every year not only because of the home but because of Simone, the host is amazing!! She really is a 10/10 host, very easy to talk to, caring and very responsive to your needs! We feel very lucky to spend our time in the lakes but thats a huge thank you to Abigail’s for making our holiday special! Thank you Simone - you’re amazing 🤩

We had an amazing stay at The Courtyard. The location is absolutely spot on for exploring everything that Lake Windermere has to offer. It’s a lovely space, with great amenities - we loved the shower and the bed was incredibly comfy. Simon was a very helpful, friendly, and knowledgeable host, providing recommendations and the use of a parking permit too! As we were visiting for my partner’s 30th birthday, we were greeted with a bottle of Prosecco, which was a very welcome and thoughtful touch! Would definitely stay again and recommend to anyone for visiting the Lakes.

We had a lovely few days staying at Dale’s place. The place was clean and tidy and very centrally located for everything in Keswick. We appreciated the tips on places to go and nearby restaurants. The additional parking time provided on the permit was also a bonus! We’d have no hesitation in staying again.

We spent 2 nights in this apartment while visiting friends in Blackpool. The apartment is fantastic - spacious and well appointed, with the highlight being the living room which has huge windows looking out over the sea which is approximately 500 metres away. The owner sent us detailed instructions before arrival and we were asked to ring him as soon as we arrived, so that he could go through various features of the apartment with us. Overall, the communication was excellent. We would thoroughly recommend this apartment if you are planning to stay in Blackpool.

Just wonderful! Graham and family have such a wonderful apartment for any Lake District trip. Greeted with a lovely welcoming card and drinks in the fridge, the apartment was spotless! Great info for the local area and recommendations which were great. Great location to explore anywhere with ease. Amazing shower and comfy bed. We would definitely return and recommend to our family and friends! 10/10!

We had a wonderful stay at Bob's at the weekend! Bob is a wonderful host, very friendly and has some amazing recommendations for local eateries! the place was just as advertised, spacious with a HUGE bed!! Very peaceful and calm surroundings, can't wait to go again!

Beck View is a beautiful apartment in an idyllic setting. The beck that runs past is fast flowing and surrounded by Kim’s well landscaped garden. We were able to sit in our terrace watching the water in the morning light , or move into the garden for sun later in the day. The apartment is everything you need and. Dry well maintained and presented. We loved the retro-looking fridge and funky furniture. Kim was helpful and knowledgeable, often around if we had any questions. Walks fro the door into the forest, and a short drive to lots of fabulous walks - and/or a swim in Bassenthwaite! Highly recommended! Thank you Kim

Angela's place is cosy and comfortable, as close to the delightful town centre of Penrith as it is to the larger shops for all needed supplies and very near the lovely local park with castle ruins to explore. One word of wisdom for future visitors is that you do need to turn on the second pull switch in the bathroom to get the shower going, but after that it's a lovely warm shower too.

This is a beautifully situated property set amongst a number of properties overlooking Ullswater and the mountains beyond; just like the images suggest. The property was easy to find and all the instructions were crytsal clear, with one parking space adjacent to the property and another not far away. The accomodation was very clean and comfortable with everything that we needed. The utility room outside is super handy for drying and storing muddy and wet gear. We were there for only two nights to undertake the MacMillan Lake District Mighty Hike on the Saturday. The Brackenrigg Inn is a short walk downhill towards the Lake and has good food and beer. We would defintely stay again and recommend this place for anyone wanting access to Ullswater and the surrounding area.

The property was a home from home. It was absolutely beautiful with an amazing garden and view. The property had everything we needed. The hosts communication was clear and proactive leaving no uncertainty about what to expect. The surrounding area is beautiful and the property itself very peaceful. Would definately stay again.

Lovely airy apartment situated right on the square. Perfect for walking down to the river or a stroll through the village. The many bars and shops are within a very close proximity. And the beautiful milk parlour just below!

The Annex apartment is the perfect little hide away, yet centrally situated. I very much appreciate the off road parking space which was provided. Great view from the kitchen. Great walks. Great chippy. A very friendly place to visit. Would certainly consider returning again. Chris.

We really enjoyed our stay and very much liked the flat. Facilities cover everything you might need and it's a warm, comfortable space. For walking and running this location is superb as we were visiting for the Grasmere Gallop and we had a direct route out the back by the river to the gather point. That, plus a parking space in the village centre, made this unbeatable. Can't criticize anything and we hope to be able to book again. Many thanks.

We loved our stay. The apartment was not like the photos on the listing but it was nice nonetheless. Quiet, easy access to Lancaster, helpful staff, top facilities - we highly recommend the spa. Would like to stay again.

A lovely modern apartment - it was clean and tidy with essentials (e.g hand soap, dishcloths, towels etc) as described. Beautiful view outside the living room/bedroom, perfect for sitting outside even if its raining since the table/chairs are sheltered. Fast wifi which was great. Communication with the host was great. The closest cafe is lovely too however if travelling without a car other restaurants are quite a walk or bus ride away (10-15 min drive). Lots of long walks nearby - we walked to ambleside via the hills and it was beautiful. One thing to note is the site is quite hilly but it's to be expected in the lakes. Would recommend 👍

We really enjoyed our stay here at Whitbarrow. The apartment was lovely, with the special addition of the balcony overlooking the beautiful views, which we enjoyed with a cuppa or two. Our boys loved the toys and the drawing that was available to play with but, of course, their highlight was the pool. Local distance to Lowther, buttermere, Penrith, pooley Bridge, Keswick etc so lots to do. We’ll be back soon! 🙂

Thurnham hall is a great place to stay!

Absolutely stunning! Perfect get away and stay for the weekend. The views were absolutely stunning and the grounds of the hotel are beautiful too. So peaceful, you can really get away from everything. Unfortunately we didn’t get chance to explore too much as we didn’t have much time due to us taking part in the MacMillan Mighty Hike but we will 100% be back! Thanks Colin for all of your help, your place is beautiful!
