A great getaway with loads to do close by for whatever mood you're in - great towns and cities like Calendar and Stirling less than half an hour away, equally beautiful countryside and multiple waterfalls, lochs and walks to choose from on the doorstep. Our toddler loved the on site swimming pool and the grown ups enjoyed the peaceful views from the hot tub too! Rosie was so friendly and accommodating.

Our stay lived up to high expectations. Ainslie went over and above with decorations for my boyfriend’s birthday; welcome notes; homemade cake; fizz and ice in the fridge. She was warm and welcoming, and we felt completely relaxed. So grateful for such a lovely stay in a beautiful area. We will definitely be back! Thank you Ainslie 🥰🤩🥳

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ 5 Stars! Excellent home in a really peaceful beautiful location. It was easy to find and no issues entering the property. Stunning old house which clearly has a lot of history. The home was well presented and we found it comfortable. All the instructions were clear. The hot tub was excellent and the kids loved it. So peaceful at night. Only a 10 min drive into Alyth where there is a couple of shops, but many many lovely walks about ideal for dogs. The wifi was a bit hit and miss we struggled watching tv as it kept freezing with no signal. However given the rural location this is excepted and didn’t bother us too much. AGA cooker was great a real experience and I’m sure in the winter it’s beautiful and warm. Overall we would recommend the property, my only room for improvement would be looking into the WiFi and potentially adding a better dining table and chairs outside. It would have been lovely to dine outside on some more comfort chairs and better seating. Still 5 stars!

We voelde ons onmiddellijk thuis in de Eastwood lodge. Het was schoon in het huis en alle basisbenodigdheden waren aanwezig. Vanuit de lodge hebben we diverse uitstapjes gemaakt en op een regenachtige dag hebben we gebruik gemaakt van het zwembad in het hotel in Blairgowrie. Het is een heerlijk rustige plek midden in de natuur en naast een golfbaan, waar je geen last van ondervindt. Ashley reageerde ontzettend snel op onze berichten. Ik kan deze plek van harte aanbevelen.

We absolutely loved staying at the cottage. This was our third place during our Scotland trip and I am so glad we booked it. It allowed us to explore more nature scenes across Scotland and simply have a safe and comfortable home after exploring all day. If we are ever in Scotland again, we will certainly book again.

I had a lovely weekend in Dawn and Darren’s wonderful cottage! It was clean and spacious, with great amenities . The added bonus of having a wood fire hot tub outside is fantastic! The cottage is in a lovely area for getting into nature, only a 10 minute walk to Loch Leven! Dawn was great to communicate with, very helpful and generous Will be back to visit again!

Was very happy with our stay here, The evening with the hot tub was lovely and private, everything was clean and well presented. There was games left in the house for our use and we got use of these. The instructions before arriving to find location was helpful although the postcode in Apple Maps did take us straight the correct location which was great. Overall we were very pleased with the whole experience and would stay again. The added bonus was the hosts had a new puppy and we got to meet this beautiful fur baby on checkout.

Stayed here for a motorbike weekend with friends. Amelia is a great host. Communicates well with clear instructions. Asking if everything was ok once we arrived. Cottage was lovely. Exactly what we needed. Lovely and clean, loads of books regarding the local area and a beautiful little library for kids. Bathroom and bedrooms were lovely and clean and the bed were comfortable. We got greats nights sleep. Cottage is short walk to bars and restaurants. Will definitely return with the family in future! Fantastic base for exploring g the west coast and the Cairngorms! Blairgowrie is a great spot for visiting the region, and Laura’s cottage is a real gem. It’s so pretty and gorgeously furnished. The table in the kitchen had been set prior to our arrival, and there were eggs, milk, butter, bread and preserves left out for us. Not to mention chocolates in the bedrooms. The views from the bedroom windows are stunning. Would highly recommend.

Location wise this place is incredible, the cottage was well equipment, although it has heating (which I believe is based on additional costs) and a fire the cottage had hard wooden floors throughout, It did get cold very quickly. Also the extra cost at £150 for the week for our dog feels excessive. With the above said it was an amazing stay. Thanks again

Words cannot express the wonderful week we have had on Loch Katrine. Old Smiddy is ideally located for hiking the mountains, lochs and woodland and Carole has thought of all you need to make it feel like a home from home. Having our morning tea watching the Barn Swallows and House Martins catching their breakfast on the lake in the sunshine was very special. Aberfoyle has all you need for food and cute shops and fantastic Doone Hill walk from the town - Free Parking!!! A ferry trip on the Sir Walter Scott from the pier over to Trossachs Pier is a MUST and the Primrose Hill hike was stunning. The Pier Cafe is outstanding, definitely worth a treat and just a short walk away. Thank you Carole for sharing your amazing house, we will be back to enjoy the hot tub and sauna 🤞

Lovely house, comfortable, well equipped great communication with recommendations for restaurants and drinking holes within walking distance from the house from Debs. Good size Co-op again within walking distance. If you are staying in the area I would recommend this cottage as it’s also within easy reach of so much

We had a wonderful time at Alison’s place and Alison was so lovely and informative, letting us know all the good walks and things to do nearby! We can’t wait to come back to this peaceful gem in the trossachs and loved how close Nether Glenny is to Aberfoyle if we did need anything! Fantastic stay and host, can’t recommend enough! :)

The Coach House is within a short walk to the town centre. Set in beautiful garden surrounds it is very private, quiet and peaceful. We sat out on the decking listening to the birds both morning and evening- it's really well situated for local walks and also further travel north or south. All in all we loved our stay.

What a beautiful cottage ! Extremely well presented and equipped a really cosy home from home . Beds very comfortable and plenty of hot water!!Lovely outdoor garden area. Katie is the best host , so helpful. The welcome foodstuffs were much appreciated on arrival. Highly recommended this gorgeous cottage in such a wonderful area to explore!

Beautiful cottage in a peaceful location. Cottage was as described, clean, comfortable beds, great kitchen which we really enjoyed for making breakfast, and great bathrooms. Loch Tay is such a peaceful spot. We hiked the first day at Acharn Falls and the Birks of Aberfeldy. Both great family hikes. Day 3 we hiked Ben Lawers which is about 8-9 west along lake if you want a challenge. Stop in Aberfeldy at Coop for lots of groceries but definitely try the small store next door to cottage. Taymouth marina is close for watersports, book ahead if you want to do sauna or hot tub. Restaurant there was nice for dinner. Overall, a great experience.

Really lovely little cottage, very peaceful location and stunning views out the back. Kitchen beatiful and stocked with the essentials (salt, pepper, oil, plenty of pots and pans). Only slight downside would be a very squeaky bed, comfortable enough but noisy.

We had a great stay at Signal House. It is an a calm, peaceful and beautifully furnished cottage. Close to all the sites, groceries and restaurants. If you are fine with stairs (stairs up from the street and stairs from the kitchen and bedroom to the sitting area and patio) this cottage worth the extra money. The kitchen is well equipped for cooking in. The bed is comfy. The view of the castle from the sitting room and patio is truly stunning. We highly recommend Signal House!

The Bothy is a super space, it has everything you need in a simple layout, with space to relax inside and beautiful surroundings outside. If you want peace and quiet and somewhere to clear your head it is perfect. The access to loch, wood and hill walks is on your doorstep and if you want to take on the challenge on some Munros they are easily accessible too, which worked really well for me. I had a great stay - it could not have been better.

A beautiful cottage in a stunning location with great views. Perfectly located for exploring the local area and for accessing some fantastic walking. The Cottage has been beautifully decorated, with some lovely touches to make you feel very welcome and at home. Very comfortable bed. Kitchen is well equipped with everything that you need for self-catering. Jan was a very welcoming host with recommendations on the local area, and making sure all was well. We enjoyed The Cottage in beautiful sunshine and made the most of sitting in the garden, so didn't get a chance to use the log burner in the cosy lounge - another time!

The garden flat was precisely as described by Jill and was the perfect stay for our week in the area. Not too far from Perth’s center, but in a private and peaceful location. The flat had all the amenities we needed and Jill checked in on us over messages periodically to make sure we were comfortable and good to go. We also spoke to John in passing and he was very friendly. We had a wonderful stay and would not hesitate to stay again.

Hawthorn Cottage is very well appointed throughout where it is clear that a high degree of detail has been given to all aspects. It felt very homely, was welcoming, clean and very modern. It was a great base for lots of adventures including walking Schiehallion. Our dog really appreciated the thoughful touches that made her welcome too, including the secure garden.
