This place is the perfect balance of comfort and adventure. It feels very safe, the hosts are welcoming and helpful, and the garden and mountains are beautiful. The location is very near the Berea Pinnacles and other hiking areas. The bath house and kitchen house meet every need and more — you can shower, use the toilet, do laundry, cook, brew coffee, read a book upstairs on a window seat… or you can rough it outside in the woods, your choice.

It is always a gift to stay at HomeGrown HideAway's. We feel right at home and so appreciate the fully stocked, well-organized, and very clean community kitchen and eating space. Another wonderful weekend!

Jessa and Nathan are wonderful hosts who have made my experience in KY the very best. I will he back again next year for sure. Maybe sooner.

We did some primitive camping over the weekend and couldn’t have been happier! The farm setting has absolutely stunning views. It was the perfect place to get away and enjoy nature. The amenities were exactly as described and we couldn’t have been happier! This is our new favorite camping spot!

The entrance was marked clearly with a HomeGrown HideAways sign, and the roads to the site and into the site were easy and safe to navigate!

This is my second year camping at Homegrown Hideaways while vending at the Berea Craft Fest. & This place is simply amazing! Beautiful, quiet camping. An incredible kitchen with all the amenities if you don’t feel like dragging out your own gear in the morning. Bath house is always pristine. Jessa & Nathan are so kind and helpful. And definitely don’t forget to buy some of their delicious farm raised chicken and duck eggs on your way out. They were a hit with the family when I got home!

I stayed one night with my kid. We all tree love it. Frendly people. Clean. Nice views. Peaceful. We will be back.

Beautifully redone Airstream! Comfy beds, great AC, cute outdoor sitting area, friendly farm animals & perfect barn to over night our horses! We enjoyed our stay and would certainly stay again when in town for a horse show! I would note there are regular trains throughout the night approx 75 yards away. Overall, great communication & welcoming from Jessica in a beautiful setting.

Mark & Melinda are great hosts! We stayed at Rufus Ridge in our 32 ft motorcoach which fit perfectly under the awning with plenty of room to park our vehicle and have a table, chairs & firepit. It’s a beautiful, peaceful location, with a stocked fishing pond and creek within walking distance to explore.

Eric went above & beyond for us. Unfortunately the area was riddled with tornadoes & Eric was quick to give us weather warnings, road conditions due to trees being down and even offered us a safe place to go to take cover. He was super accommodating, the camper was very clean, comfortable & peaceful. Plenty of room, a comfy bed, lots of hot water for a great shower after a day on the lake, cold A/C, and all the necessities. Despite conditions that was beyond any humans control, this was a great stay and we would stay again and again - and absolutely plan on it! Beautiful, safe area & the little baby deer that welcomed us back one night was an added bonus. I highly recommend! Thank you, Eric!

We loved glamping here! Having a mini fridge, microwave, real bed, table/chairs, AND a private bathroom/shower was incredible. We still got the outdoor experience with the front porch and small walk to the bathroom, but had a blast inside the large, study "tent." It's pretty close to the highway, so if you're a light sleeper, I'd definitely advise bringing ear plugs, but us heavy sleepers slept super well. I'd also add to the Airbnb's list of things to pack some shampoo/soap for the shower, as they weren't included. Would definitely recommend glamping here! We made such amazing memories during our stay.

We had a great time at Dappled Light for a quick getaway! The tent & grounds were exactly as described, enjoyed everything there was to offer. We especially appreciated the guest book that had local recommendations and helpful tips for the area.

Great place for our family of 6 to stay and have plenty of room. Wish we could have a stayed longer!

First time staying in an RV and we're already looking forward to other adventures, in the near future. Property was well kept, thoughtfully prepared and the Host - Krystin was great to work with! They had everything set up and ready to go when we arrived. It was comfortable and convenient. We will definitely be back!

We loved the cabin! It was so clean and well decorated. The scenery was beautiful and we had plenty of room to park outside! We loved the board games they had and the host was so very friendly. Would definitely return!!

Kristen was such a great host! and the glamping tent was amazing, all the perks of camping without the nastiness of a tiny tent! the tent was spacious and really nice! seeing the farm animals was good, specially the visit from Nemo the cat! overall, the place was even better than described and had a good time there! also it's a nice spot if you're into stargazing!!!

My husband and I were in Smith Grove for a wedding and needed a quiet place to crash. This was the perfect place to rest up after a long evening. The bed was soooo comfy and the fireplace kept us warm. We were lucky to find this place!

The stay was amazing. It looked exactly like the photos. If you got there and realized you forgot something, they had it there for you. The host was very friendly and responsive when we needed something. The place was beautiful.

The complete shut out of the world for us was something both of us needed. Busy everyday lives, work and children leave little time for each other. It was very peaceful to get to fall in love with him all over Again. That I’m my eyes was worth more than money can buy.

If I need another weekend getaway, I will definitely stay at this little camper again! Needed a nice, peaceful weekend and Kevin and Waneta’s camped definitely justified that! Firewood was available and it was nice knowing that they were close by if needed! Hosts were super responsive and would recommend this place to anyone! Thanks for the wonderful stay!

My Husband and I loved this little gem of a place! Secluded, clean, & absolutely darlin! Vicki was very informative and kind. Anytime we are back in the area we will be sure to revisit.

We had a great and it was the experience I wanted with my kiddos. Hosts were amazing and loving to my family. We would love to come back.
