This beautiful property has a special place in our hearts. We stayed in the A frame during COVID and we always wanted to come back. This time we stayed in the main house and it was phenomenal. Wish the weather was better for us to use the pool, but next time! It well worth the price. Only an hr from the city and it feels like a full vacation. Wonderful way to lose time time for a few days. We will be back!

It was a fantastic house with a beautiful view. Plenty of space and we really enjoyed our stay. The property itself is absolutely gorgeous. Would definitely come back.

I spent my birthday at this beautiful house and couldn’t have asked for a better experience. The place was spotless and full of natural light, with lovely views that made the stay even more special. The atmosphere was peaceful and clean, and the house had everything we needed for cooking and relaxing. I truly felt at home and appreciated all the thoughtful touches. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a cozy, well-equipped getaway!

The teahouse and surroundings were relaxing and peaceful. We saw groundhogs, deer, and chipmunks from the porch and our 2 dogs loved exploring the field and wandering in the nearby woods. The pool was amazing and warm despite the rain and the natural landscaping couldn’t have been more beautiful. We really enjoyed our stay!

We truly enjoyed our stay at Wilderkill Barn. Maria Cristina and William were exceptional hosts—warm, attentive, and genuinely committed to making our visit special. They went above and beyond to make us feel welcome. The home was a haven, with a hot tub, sauna, pool, fire pit, pool table, and immersive sound and movie systems—all of which made our stay delightful despite the cold, dreary May weather. We can't thank them enough. ***That said, we feel it's necessary to address a serious issue with Airbnb itself that arose while booking this property, unrelated to the property itself. An unexpected tax was added after booking, and Airbnb has yet to provide a clear explanation. After years of loyalty, we were disappointed by their evasive and unhelpful customer support. This experience has made us reconsider using the platform in the future. We urge potential users to scrutinize all fees carefully and be aware that Airbnb’s support may be difficult to navigate if problems arise.***

This house absolutely reminded me of home and my childhood ! So lovely and clean. Absolutely love the heated pool ! This was the perfect house for our wedding at the Mohonk mountain house . Close and such a comfortable stay . We really enjoyed the outdoor porch sitting room . Thank you for a comfortable and wonderful stay .

This is the second time we took our family here. Everything is as great as we remembered. The kids enjoyed swimming, jacuzzing, rowing the boat and playing ping pong and billiards when it is raining. Great three-day weekend well spent. The lake view is fantastic and it is 1.5 hours from Manhattan or 2 hours from Brooklyn. The rate did get more expensive comparing to two years ago but I can tell the location is still very popular from June on. I guess May is a nice shoulder season and the host allowed us to do early check in and late check out. Maybe it is more affordable to combine two families or a group of friends.

Patti's home exceeded every expectation! From the moment we arrived, we were blown away by the thoughtful design and stunning architecture. The house is beautifully crafted with soaring high ceilings, an airy and light-filled interior, and countless thoughtful touches that made our stay feel truly special. The location couldn't be better - we were perfectly positioned for amazing hiking adventures and discovered some incredible restaurants nearby. Her local knowledge was invaluable and really enhanced our entire experience. Speaking of Patti, she is an absolutely wonderful host! Communication was seamless from booking through checkout - she was incredibly responsive, easy to reach, and genuinely helpful with every question we had. This home is a true gem, and Patti is the kind of host that makes Airbnb special. We can't wait to return! Highly recommend to anyone looking for a perfect getaway in Ulster County and the surrounding region.

We had a wonderful time at this place for our mini moon. It was relaxing, beautifully decorated, well stocked with everything you need! The hosts were very responsive. We would stay here again in a heartbeat! For anyone coming from NYC we stoped at Pho Tibet in New Paltz for lunch on the way home and the food was amazing!

My boyfriend and I were looking for a relaxing weekend escape from NYC and couldn’t have picked a better spot. We came to explore Kingston but loved the house so much that we were just as happy staying in, playing games, and soaking in the cozy vibes. The home is beautiful and thoughtfully appointed — I can only imagine how magical it must be in the summer with the porch, or in the fall with the foliage. Even in late winter, it was idyllic. The location is perfect — just about 10 minutes from Kingston, so it’s super easy to pop into town while still feeling tucked away. We’d absolutely stay here again!

Overall a great stay! The home was beautiful and exactly what we needed. Elizabeth was also a great host. We’d be more than glad to visit again in the future!

This is a beautiful, peaceful home. I especially loved the great knives for cooking, the filtered water throughout the house, the dimmable lights, and the gorgeous interior design. It was the perfect home base to pop into the town of Stone Ridge, Woodstock, Kingston, and the surrounding parks for hikes. My friends and I couldn't have been happier with our stay!

Edward’s place was a special treat. Beautiful wooden lodge house with high ceilings and lots of wooden decor around the house. The house is stuck with all the amenities and two outdoor patios for barbecues and outdoor leisure. There’s also a fire pit and a relaxing area. I’m mostly enjoyed the trail behind the house since I do a lot of hiking. I enjoyed it. I can’t wait to return.

She epitomizes hospitality - greeting us with complimentary wine and thoughtful snacks (even checked for allergies). The home is spotlessly clean, beautifully renovated, and incredibly comfortable. Waking to Shawangunk Mountain sunrise views was breathtaking! The fully-equipped kitchen with stainless appliances and cozy bedrooms with comfortable mattresses provided everything we needed. Marci stayed in touch without being intrusive, and the location is ideal - peaceful nature setting yet convenient to stores and hiking trails. This felt like a true home away from home thanks to Marci's exceptional care. We're already planning our return visit! Highly recommended!

We had a nice time staying. It has a Well stocked kitchen. It is near to grocery and shopping in Stone Ridge. It has Great fireflies at night and a good view of the sunset.

We absolutely adored our stay at Insaff’s cozy home in the woods! The house was exactly as described and very comfortable. We really loved the heated floors in the bathroom and the shower. Super luxe. The woodland setting was picturesque and peaceful. The house was well stocked with everything we needed. A perfect getaway spot.

We had a great time at Jeff's! The home is absolutely beautiful, even more beautiful than the pictures. The kitchen was perfect and easy to cook in. The beds were really comfortable and it was awesome to get to change the softness/firmness of the mattress to what we preferred. The house was easy to find. We were looking to retreat into nature and be near water (there's a creek you can hear from the house), but with all modern amenities, and we got exactly what we were looking for. The house and hot tub were both super clean, and Jeff was very responsive before and during our trip. We will *definitely* be back!

Great place to stay in the Catskills if you want something peaceful in the woods. It was a great price for how clean, quiet and aesthetically pleasing this place was. While it was off the beaten path, it was a short drive to many of the cool places in the area and the hosts give a great book of recommendations that was very helpful. Would stay here again!

Chandra’s house was comfortable, clean, spacious, and filled to the brim with thoughtful touches (literally — there was a fully stocked spice rack and endless supplies for all your cooking needs! The best part: paper towel refills, which so many other hosts miss). You can tell this is truly a home for the family. Beyond that, the backyard is something to marvel at during sunset. Picturesque falls right as you step outside. I can imagine this place goes to another level during peak fall season. Location made it easy to commute to nearby towns like Kingston, Livingston Manor, etc. My only flag is you have to really watch your step going down the stairs to view the creek. Nothing that impacted our stay though and I highly recommend Chandra’s home whether you’re traveling with a few people or a family. There’s enough space for it all!

This was hands-down, my favorite. Air B&B ever! We hope to return and spend more time on our next visit. We were literally immersed in and surrounded by nature and it was so beautiful and peaceful. It also felt like home the minute we stepped in… like going to a friend’s “country weekend” place where the books, puzzles, games, records, artwork, handcrafted pottery, electric blankets, dog beds and more (!) just make you feel at ease and in comfort. This place is so loved and it shares that love with its visitors. Thank you to the owners for sharing such a special place!

Beautiful new home built on a beautiful property. It was extremely private and quiet and loved being able to wake up to a beautiful view of the trees and hearing the birds every morning. We enjoyed the cozy fireplace since it was an unusually chilly weekend and grilling on the deck. The location was perfect - closer to Accord where all the great restaurants and shops are. Connie was very quick to respond when we had questions. We will be back again!
