Historic 3-bedroom fisherman’s cottage on the seafront with fast wifi, all mod cons (projector, vintage stereo, PS5, Sonos, well-stocked kitchen), loads of character, superb location for beach and local attractions. “What a beautiful place you’ve put together here. I’ve had a wonderful, peaceful winter retreat, very comfortable and I got a lot of writing done. Kick back and relax in this calm, stylish space. Nestled in the grounds of our 15th Century house. The Lodge, sits perfectly with the Old Guildhall, built in 1429 with its wealth of history, surrounded by beautiful countryside. The iconic seaside town of Southwold is less than 10 minutes drive away. The local village with cafe, store, Chinese takeout and public houses is within walking distance, so too is the beach. Relax on the balcony with a drink and enjoy the beauty of the surroundings

The Boathouse is a single story building in a contemporary design, close to the main house with a shared garden going down to the waterside of Oulton Broad. Oulton Broad, has a variety of places to eat, a museum in the park and boat trips. Carlton Marshes is a stunning nature reserve and cafe. Lowestoft has a sandy beach with several cafes on the promenade. Southwold is a picturesque coastal town, a 25 minute drive away and Beccles, a beautiful market town on the banks of the river Waveney.

Welcome to our seaside chalet on a small friendly site situated in the lovely area of Kessingland. This area is great to explore. For families you have Africa Alive, Pleasure Wood Hills and beautiful beaches like Kessingland and Southwold. For quieter days out there is Snape Maltings, Minsmere and quiet towns like Beccles. But for us, the icing on the cake is the beach which is a stones throw away, tucked behind the chalet. We aim to give you the home from home chalet. 10% off a week stay.

Take a break and enjoy the vast unspoilt beach in Kessingland with amazing Sunrises and Sunsets 🌅. In the most easterly point of the country nearby the Suffolk Sunshine Coast. The beach is only a few hundred yards from the property and a local little quirky shop where you can gets gifts or a pint of milk etc carry on and a dog friendly pub with sea views and live bands on some Sunday afternoon . If not one of the best chips shops in the area a five min walk away .Also Sunday carboot .

The Old Lamp Room. Self contained annexe

The Old Lamp Room used to store the lamps for the lighthouse until it became automatic. It is now an annexe to the old Lighthouse Keeper’s Cottage, which is our family home. Guests have their own front door and are free to use the small front courtyard garden which has a bistro table and chairs. Situated up a small path, behind the lighthouse and moments from the beach. The high street with its shops, restaurants and pubs is a 5 minute stroll away. An ideal cosy bolt hole.
