Cottage holiday rentals in Kessingland

Had a lovely girls weekend and will definitely be back again. The place was so cute and cozy and we felt right at home. We were able to explore Norwich, go in the hot tub and then end the weekend with a lovely roast in a nearby pub.

We enjoyed our stay at Lesleys place. Very near to the sea and close to all beeches we wanted to visit. The cottage had everything we needed and we thoroughly enjoyed the jaccuzzi. The cottage is dog friendly and had all things our 4 month old Labrador puppy needed.

The cottage was lovely and the hosts were great, we had a great time for our getaway!

We went for our friend’s birthday and had a wonderful time. The hot tub and Sauna was just lovely and very relaxing. Lovely cottage perfect for 4 people. The host was very responsive and recommended a fabulous restaurant nearby. I would advise to come to Diss by car as the cab service was not great so had difficulty getting about. You have to book cabs in advance. Overall it was Great weekend

We had a most enjoyable stay of 4 nights at The Cart Lodge. Very comfortable for us four adults and two dogs. We enjoyed heading out for part of the day, then returning to sit in the cosy private garden and a spell in the enticing hot tub. Little touches such as having toilet roll provided and bathroom products - soap, shampoo, conditioner, body lotion - was a thoughtful gesture. It was nice in the evening to chill on the comfy sofas with a bit of TV time, before retiring to our comfy beds. The cottage provided all we needed in a beautiful convenient setting for our short break away in Norfolk. Would thoroughly recommend to anybody looking to stay in this area.

We had a perfect weekend break accommodation as described 👌. Joanna left homemade brownies that lasted all of 5 mins 😁 milk, eggs, yoghurts, vase of flowers, cream, and cookies all made the first impression Perfect. We walked throughout the large grounds used the jacuzzi, games room with toilet which had sky tv on a large screen pool table tennis table football and ice hockey game, lots of seating to watch. Very quiet and secluded area 20 25 mins from beccles local pub unfortunately we did not use. Farm shop on site with local fresh produce and everything thing you might need if you have forgotten anything. At night no light contamination so on a clear night we could see a sky full of stars planets etc. Overall perfect place Perfect accommodations and perfect guest 👌 A1.

We arrived in good time and had clear instructions from the host. The photos do not do Justice to this beautiful country cottage in an idyllic setting. Complimentary wine & chocolate. Everything we could have asked and wished for was here. Space, nature, games, BBQ and hot tub, kitchen amenities . We were 7 adults, 1 child and dogs. We never once felt overcrowded. We have literally all had the best short holiday ever. We would book another stay in a heartbeat and stay longer. None of us wanted to leave. Thank you so much.

Just back from a wonderful week staying at Pheasant Lodge. Absolutely beautiful setting. Perfect for our two dogs as you literally open the front door onto fields and a public footpath/ bridal way. The property is a great size and is well equipped. Sarah was extremely helpful and responsive but respected our privacy. The hot tub was up and running when we arrived and we made great use of it! Peaceful little hamlet and we were able to switch off from the hustle and bustle of our everyday lives. Visited Broadland County Park, Holt Country Park, Holman Beach and Wells Next to the Sea. All wonderful places for two energetic dogs and two hoomans who love the outdoors. Ps. The Wine, Cake and fresh eggs were a lovely welcome when we arrived.

The cottage such a beautiful place to stay. Really peaceful and surrounded by countryside for walking. Lovely little villages nearby. A really well equipped cottage with everything needed. Lots of character and I loved my stay here. Mary & John were really responsive to messages, helpful and friendly. I recommend it! x

Oh how we wish we'd booked longer! everything was lovely, clean and comfortable, we had everything we needed, the location was fabulous, we spent many hours looking at the sea, spotting the odd seal and walked up to see the nesting terns, and due to the weather we even managed a swim. It was a great base for cycling as all the roads are very quiet. we would definitely return.

We loved our stay here, house was perfect for us, we parked in view of the house every time. House had everything we needed. Kathy was easy to contact, she had left clear instructions for electric items and lots of info about the area. Would recommend

We really enjoyed our stay at The Boat House. The property was exactly as described and the location was great - right in the town and by the beach. The secure outside courtyard space was ideal for our mini dachshund too. The size was fine for us but perhaps a bit small for 6, with 1 bathroom. Sophie was an excellent host, she arranged the travel cot and high chair at short notice (I hadn’t realised this needs to be requested) and was super responsive. Would definitely come back!

Kerry’s place is a must stay. It was perfect for our family of 4, with two small kids. Lovely little outside space & there was a good amount of storage inside the cottage so we could unpack & feel at home. There was a kitchen with all the utensils & equipment you need. There are some beautiful little personal touches too that make it almost feel like a hotel, but with all the privacy of your own home. The area is so peaceful & a central location for lots of places to visit. Adam & Kerry were very responsive & helpful, the communication was really great. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend the cottage & Suffolk to friends & family.

Winifred Cottage is such a lovely little treasure to be found Gray the host was so wonderful and quick to answer any queries we had. We spelt like babies and to be honest if we could have stay a couple more days we would have. Thank you Gray & Aimee we will be back

Back from an amazing weekend stay at the Cowshed. The accommodation was spotless, lovely welcome basket on arrival and a well stocked kitchen if you are looking to cook in. Used as a base to explore on the bikes and was perfect in every way. Bath a lovely touch after a long cycle ride! Rebecca was very responsive to answer questions and would 100% recommend to others. Located in a beautiful part of the world.

I booked this accommodation on behalf of colleagues working in the area, and it turned out to be a great fit. The place was clean, comfortable, and exactly as described. Communication with the host was smooth and responsive throughout the booking and stay. My colleagues were very happy with the experience, and I would highly recommend this property to anyone looking for a reliable and pleasant stay in the area.

We had a wonderful few days at Aldeburgh, which was all made possible by the fantastic location of “The tides” . There are so many restaurants and pubs in the town and only a walk away along the beach is Thorpness, where amongst other things is the house in the clouds. The Tides itself is perfectly equipped for two people to stay. There are a few steps outside the house and the stairs to the bedroom and bathroom could be a challenge to the less mobile. But for us as young approaching 60ish adults is was no issue. All in all we highly recommend this wonderful little home. Thank you Carl for letting us stay

We were so bowled over by the superior quality of this beautiful converted coach house that we immediately rebooked for another stay later this summer! The house had everything we needed and was beautifully and tastefully appointed. Absolutely loved the kingsize bed which was so comfortable. Love the privacy of the house and backyard even though you are in the heart of the village and the friendly owners next door. Can’t wait for our return trip.

Lovely place. Many nature reserves close at hand. Beautiful private terrace at rear, overlooking lovely garden (the latter not available for guests' use). Bus service. Would recommend a stay.

A cosy cottage with beautiful gardens in a peaceful location. Only a short car ride to RSPB Minsmere, Dunwich Heath and lovely Southwold, but we were just as happy watching the birdlife around the cottage or walking on the heathland just down the road. Steve & Feri gave us a warm welcome and their cottage was absolutely perfect.
