Stayed here our first time using air bnb. The place was beautiful and was exactly what the website said it would be. Felt very comfortable and at peace. I highly recommend this place!

This was our second time staying at Jamie’s cottage and it was just as wonderful as the first time. It is such a beautiful location and the cottage is warm and cozy with the amazing fireplace. It was a perfect spot to watch all the snow fall gently out the big windows, looking out over the river. So peaceful! We ended up having to leave early and it made us all so sad, especially our kids, so we’ve already mentally made plans to go back next winter. Jamie was super communicative and we really just enjoyed our time so much.

My friends and I had the most wonderful girls' trip at Darlene's cottage this past weekend. The space was spotless, cozy, and very well stocked with all the necessities and beyond. We especially enjoyed the unique game room and the hot tub. Darlene even left us a s'mores kit, a bottle of wine, and a lovely note to welcome us! We highly recommend. 😊

Daniel gave a thorough intro message of specifics the day of on top of what was already so clearly laid out. The property was beautiful with access to so many activity options. House is clean and spacious. We spent a lot of time on the dock which had a great selection of furniture and sun/shade options. The beach is a close walk. We thoroughly enjoyed our weekend and will likely be back to enjoy the space again!

We had a wonderful stay at this Airbnb. The house was very comfortable for our family of 8 as we celebrated my parents’ 50th anniversary. The bedrooms, bathrooms, and kitchen were very clean, and the space felt welcoming. The location was ideal — close to popular attractions, yet peaceful and relaxing. The owner was a gracious and thoughtful host who genuinely cared about our comfort. We truly appreciated his kindness and responsiveness throughout our stay.

Penny’s place was great: every little detail has been thought through, instructions clear, host very responsive. The house and surrounding area were beautiful - clear lake; lots of outside sitting areas, bbqs, hot tub, fully furnished kitchen, etc. The house was spotless - very clean; lots of towels, robes, linens. Lastly, Penny was very accommodating and kind given that we had one older person in our group with limited mobility (the house is well equipped for accessibility - super rare for AirBnbs). Thank you, Penny!

Although it was a last-minute booking made in a rather urgent situation, the host’s exceptionally warm and thoughtful communication immediately put us at ease. Thanks to their kindness. This place turned out to be far beyond our expectations. Cozy and beautifully designed, the cabin is nestled among trees, offering a tranquil view of the water and the soothing sounds of birds singing in the surrounding forest. If you’re looking for a stay that offers both peace and delight, this is truly a perfect choice.

The place was beautiful, looking out onto a lake with clean swimmable water. And there was a beach only 5 minutes away. Everything inside the house was clean and well-stocked. Richard was also very responsive with any inquiries. Overall, a great place, very well worth it!

Great cottage for a getaway! Jason was very accommodating and responsive to all our questions. We came for a girl's weekend retreat and it suited our needs perfectly. Nice little sand beach that made it easy to get in and out of the water. Would recommend Bud's Place and will book again myself :)

Sandy's home is beautiful, well fitting out, has everything one needs in a home away from home. The neighborhood is very peaceful with very nice houses, a great place to take walks from. Sandy was friendly in her communication and generously offered us an early check in and late check out, which we took the benefit of to enjoy our break to the fullest. :) I would definitely recommend it for visits by parties of 6 to 8 people. Just one thing to be aware of - the grocery store is a distance away so it'll be good to bring all the essentials or make a trip at the start of your trip to get whatever you need.

Such a gorgeous property and stunning views! The main living area had views from both south and north views of the lake since it is on a point. Stocked with everything we needed. Was a lovely weekend to honour my late uncle with my family. Balsam lake was his favourite spot. We went up the weekend after the huge ice storm so the place was running on a generator, which actually stopped working for a bit but the owners were on top of it as soon as they heard. They were very helpful. Would definitely stay there again in nicer weather! 🙌🙌

Cottage is totally unique being on a point with water on two sides. Architecture is modern and very comfortable. Two larger bedrooms are the same size so great to share with another couple. Views include Goffat Island and McCrae Provincial Park so lots of greenery. With the pick of two sides to paddle you can stay out of the wind. I have been coming to Lake Simcoe for over 50 years and I have never heard so many loon cries! And trumpeter swans for visuals. Firepit has great views! We had a great time.

chalet noir is very beautiful and comfortable, whether you're hanging outside or in! hosts were very responsive with any questions, and were clear with their instructions for check in and out. Their brand new boat had just been delivered and they were in the process of getting a new dock, so it made it a bit difficult for jumping/swimming off the dock but we figured it out! Having the big floating lily pad mat available is a lovely addition! the ties attached to the dock are great for setting up floaties to, and we enjoyed going for a paddle on the river with the provided kayaks and paddleboards! We enjoyed our stay and would return!

Katie and Derek's property is stunning and relaxing, and their responsiveness was also fantastic. The property is even nicer than the pictures show, and there is a great attention to detail with their decor and amenities (such as readily available bug spray). The location is great and has lots of privacy. It felt like an incredibly recharging experience! What really was above and beyond was their communication. There was a slight issue with the fridge, but every step of the way, Derek and Katie were very positive and accommodating. They responded to our messages promptly and helped us find a solution so that we could enjoy our stay regardless. With their accommodations and attentiveness, it was as if the issue had never existed in the first place. Thank you to Katie and Derek for an incredible stay, and we hope to rebook with you in the future!

What a great place! We had 11 people. 6 adults and 5 children. There were beds for everyone and because the weather was crap (totally not Byron’s fault - LOL) we were inside most of the weekend. There was enough space and internet bandwidth to keep everyone happy and engaged! Everything was comfortable and the kitchen had everything we needed! Hope to rent this next year for family fun weekend!

Cheryl was a gracious and accommodating host, who met us personally to check us in, and took extra measures to ensure we had a great stay when visiting Erin for a friend’s wedding. She kindly delivered firewood for us when we forgot to bring our own, and also washed and replaced the towels for us to reuse on the second day. Very kind!

For my birthday last weekend, I was looking for a cottage to getaway for work and to celebrate, and I immediately fell in love with this cozy little house when I saw it. It has everything I could ask for to create a warm and welcoming atmosphere, just like home. I spent my birthday here, and I couldn't have asked for a better place. The Scandinavian interior style is my absolute favorite, and every detail of the decor and soft furnishings was perfectly chosen. It’s clear that the owner, Lina, put a lot of thought and care into making this space feel like a true home for visitors. Each room was spotless, and everything I needed for a comfortable stay was provided. Lina is incredibly understanding and accommodating. We all had an amazing time and are so grateful for this experience. Five stars aren’t enough to express how much we enjoyed our stay and how this beautiful house made our birthday weekend so memorable. Highly recommend!
