Farmstay holiday rentals in Kilkenny

we had a lovely time at Brian and Allison's place. We loved the very warm house. they had a baby bed and a booster chair for our baby and alsp many little toys which were a big hit with our baby. Allison and Brian were very welcoming and friendly we enjoyed chatting with them very much. Honestly I thought the pictures don't do this place justice because It was better than I imagined. we would love to come back one day. cheers !

Louise was very hospitable and a lovely host right from the get-go. She made us feel very welcome and was helpful the whole duration of our stay. She gave us clear instructions and lots of advice on local things to do and see and places to eat. The house was set in the countryside and was a very peaceful escape for a few days. It is a charming and very clean cottage with comfy beds, well equipped kitchen and a cosy lounge. There were even lots of kids toys to keep my nephew entertained! It was only a 20 min drive from Kilkenny, and the local pub Rising Sun was a 10 min drive away. Highly recommend for all who want to get away from the hustle and bustle of city life and enjoy a lovely slice of the countryside. Thanks Louise!

We loved Helen’s place. It’s located in her farm/cafe complex, and it’s super cute and special. We felt welcomed, and Helen was very friendly and accommodating from beginning to end. Staying here was a highlight of our trip to Ireland!

Once in a lifetime experience in this unique, scenic property. We had beautiful morning walks to see the cows and chickens. The kitchen had everything needed to make dinner and breakfast, and the beds were very comfortable.

We spent 3 nights at Susan's cottage. Susan's was a great host. The cottage was spacious, well equipped and clean. The surrounding area was very peaceful. We had a great time and would recommend Susan's cottage to anyone.

We really enjoyed our stay in grettas Airbnb! It was really nice Talking to gretta and staying at the Farm - we felt Like Home :) also had the opportunity to have breakfast. Definetly Recommended and we would come back and stay longer :)

Lovely peaceful location, great accommodation. Kevin was helpful and responsive. Being able to walk into Kilkenny was great.

Can’t thank you enough only pulled up and straight away was there to help out whatever was needed done the room up lovely for my bday recommend food and was amazing so peaceful and friendly and fun which a lovely person and never not made sure we had everything we needed even leaving the cleaner was so friendly had a laugh with her going such a lovely experience thank you so much x

Natalie gave us so much information what can be done around the area and was very responsive to messages. This spot was a little slice of heaven. We had been bouncing from spot to spot across Ireland on our trip and Lorna’s place was the perfect, restful stop we needed. As others have mentioned there were fresh scones, eggs, milk, and cream upon check in. But the standout was Lorna’s daughter Lily taking us around the farm to interact with the animals and learn about their family’s livelihood. Would 100% stay again should we return to Ireland, and would love to spend more than 1 night the next time.

Ethel was the "hostess with the mostess" - she thought of absolutely everything, from the candles lit upon our arrival to the syrup for our morning coffees. Ethel also left us a beautiful note for our bride to be, as well as a bottle of bubbles and some lindor - a beautiful touch! Her home was so welcoming, and we were blown away by it. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay, and were so sad to leave!

John’s house is a charming and comfortable place to stay in the perfect location for touring the area. It has been lovingly updated. The beds are comfortable, the kitchen well stocked, and we could have sat in the two sitting rooms all day. Would highly recommend a stay.

The Coach House was such a lovely stay for our group. The house and grounds are beautiful. Our group of 4 had plenty of space in the house to lounge and relax. The location is in a rural area of Kilkenny, but it’s only a 10/15 minute drive into the city. We had such a lovely time and would love to go back.

Rosin was such a good host very flexible, very good communication from her , the house was perfect for the amount of us and only a 10 mintute drive away from the city centre , would definitely stay again

All ages were accommodated. We had seven adults and a 10 Month old baby. Great kitchen and large dinning area that accommodated a big family dinner. Walk to River was beautiful and John was so easy work with. Highly recommend as a host

Absolutely fantastic place to stay, from the homemade treats on arrival to the comfortable spotless home. Fantastic place to have the dogs as was completely secure to let them roam. Breda was friendly and welcoming, we would definitely stay here again!

Wow... what a location. We were so happy to have found this AirBnB, it was a great location for exploring the surrounding area, and a perfect place to relax after a day of walking and shopping. The kitchen was well equipped and spacious, making meal prep a social activity with me and my family ... even the teenagers gave a hand :) Rebecca was a fantastic host. I felt well informed from when I initially looked at the listing to when we left the accommodation. And there were lots of little touches and extras which were a really nice surprise. I would not hesitate to go back there again. Thanks!

Wonderful house within its own estate with tranquil setting and full of period character. Would have loved to stay longer and enjoyed more of the property and grounds but would highly recommend somewhere to while away time!

Susan was wonderful. Met us on our late arrival with fresh scones and a fire burning in the fireplace. Gave us recommendations for nearby experiences and also let us settle in quickly. Checked in with us to see if we had needs and were great at communication. We had a lovely time at their beautiful property.

Francis was a very good host to us, forthcoming and helpful. We enjoyed our stay in the simple, yet beautiful cottage and especially having some farm animals around.
