The Firkin Lodge

RachaelRating, 5 stars1 week ago
Excellent stay. John was a great host, showed us round the lodge and was available if we needed. Had a comfortable stay. Exactly what we needed. Hot tub was great to relax after a busy day. Had a drink in the pub when we arrived, very welcoming. Would definitely recommend and would stay again if we were in the area.

Cosy cabin with outdoor rolltop bath and woodstove

HannahRating, 5 stars1 week ago
We had a thoroughly enjoyable stay at Ben’s cosy cabin. It was a lovely relaxing getaway. The cabin was in a beautiful location with friendly piggies and chirpy birds - it was perfect environment and just what we needed to relax and wind down. The cabin had everything we needed for our 2 night stay.

LUXURY CABIN ON THE NORFOLK/CAMBS BORDER

KellyRating, 5 stars3 weeks ago
Absolutely stunning cabin in a beautiful setting! Everything was spotlessly clean and felt very homely. The cabin was equipped with everything you could want so you wouldn’t have to even leave the cabin if you didn’t want to! Very quiet area and the hot tub was a lovely addition. Louise & Simon were the perfect hosts - we knew they’d be there if we needed anything but they also respected our privacy. Hopefully we will be back in the future ☺️

What a gem! Wonderfully relaxing break full of nature. Stunning location and views. We loved exploring the coast and places of interest nearby. Had a campfire under the stars and relaxed in the hot tub when we weren't absorbed in monopoly! Will be visiting again, thank you.

Hideaway 3, Lux Lakeside Lodge, Fishing, Hot tub.

NicholasRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
Our stay at Julie and Pauls was exactly what we needed as a family. Downtime for us and fishing for the kids. Seeing the Lancaster, Spitfire and Hurricane flyiver was an added bonus as they are based very near by at RAF Conington. The accommodation is excellent, absolutely spitless and the beds were really comfortable. Highly recommend.

Squirrel - 1 bedroom cabin

LeahRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
I surprised my fiancé for a night stay here for his birthday and we loved it. We had perfect sunny weather so we lit the bbq, sunbathed in the sun loungers while reading and watching the barn swallows and planes coming over from Stansted. Then we had a dip in the hot tub. We felt like we on holiday! The cabin was so peaceful and private and just perfect, lots of amenities and games provided. We loved the ice cube maker. The place was clean and tidy and the bed was very comfortable. There was even air-con for when it got a bit too hot. We will definitely recommend to friends and family and would love to come back again ❤️

4 star rural self-catering cottage. IP21 4BD

JulieRating, 5 stars6 days ago
If Carlsberg did short breaks….. Honestly don’t think we could have got anywhere better for a short stay with our kids (8&10) and the dog. Having received a very warm welcome we felt immediately at home. The lake was stunning and the additional activities available for kids meant that they were entertained even when they weren’t fishing. We only stayed 2 nights but made lots of happy memories - thank you Jean and Brian for a wonderful stay in beautiful Lake View

Woodland cabin

RonanRating, 5 stars1 week ago
Partner, Labrador and I stayed in Laura's cabin for a few days, as a mini escape from work. Secluded in the back corner of the Host garden we had our cosy abode. Idyllic area, with plenty of footpaths and walks to explore, and not a single neighbour or road bustle to interrupt the sound of the woodland! A lovely place for a short break, and well placed for enjoying the area.

Kakapo Lodge Snape-coastal escape with wood burner

Jacqueline And GrahamRating, 5 stars1 week ago
We had a very warm welcome by Jess explaining everything in the cottage and suggesting places to visit and local walks. The cottage was exceptionally clean and very well equipped. It was lovely to have our own private garden having 2 dogs with us. The patio area was perfectly situated with the sunshibe. Sitting outside with a glass of bubbly and nibbles was perfect. The bed was very comfortable and the bathroom with shower was very good. The kitchen had everything you needed to cook a meal. The sitting room had a comfy sofa and a casual chair. Perhaps an armchair would be beneficial to those who cant sit very low. We didnt use the woodburner but it looked very cosy if lit. Jess came to say goodbye the evening before we left as she wasnt around the next day. Asked if we were happy with the cottage and had a good time. The location of the cottage was very good to visit the Maltings, Sutton Hoo and the villages along the coast. We would definitely return if we came back to the area.

The Directors shed

LucyRating, 5 stars4 days ago
We had such a lovely stay at this charming cabin. The pub literally across the road was so good we went both nights! Hosts were very responsive and kindly came over straight away when we needed a hand with a couple of things. We loved the projector, watching a film from a comfy wingback was a highlight. The bath was relaxing, the bed was comfy, and the kitchen had everything we needed to cook breakfast. But the garden was my favourite part…peaceful mornings with a coffee, listening to the birds and watching bees in the wildflowers. We didn’t want to leave!

The Bothy

SamanthaRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
After a birthday weekend plan fell through we decided to book something random in north Norfolk last minute, Tim responded almost immediately with all the vital information and we were set for the next day. The accommodation was perfect for us as we love the simple life and being in nature. We stayed in the bothy which was so cute and we felt comfortable throughout, can’t wait to stay again and try the camping ! Tim was such a great host and held some drinks in the barn which was a lovely touch to a lovely last min weekend away. We will be back! Thanks for having us :)

Windmill Glamping Pod with Hot Tub "The Hideaway"

JadeRating, 5 stars6 days ago
We don’t get much time to ourselves with 3 young children so with the chance for a couple nights kid free we wanted it to be relaxing and peaceful. We booked a 2 night stay for our wedding anniversary and it did not disappoint! Absolutely stunning! Beautiful area, felt private and romantic, extremely clean, well presented and laid out. Lovely pub up the road with amazing food and a proper pub feel to it! So friendly and welcoming. Natasha was absolutely amazing, everything is explained so well and she was very helpful and responsive and even helped me out with putting up some decor for our anniversary celebration! I can not recommend enough! We will 100% be going back when we get another chance!! 10/10 stay! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Traditional Log Cabin in a Peaceful Location

KarenRating, 5 stars1 week ago
My family and I stayed here for two nights over the weekend as we had a trip booked at the Lincolnshire Aviation Heritage Centre. This was an ideal location for us as it was peaceful and out of town. Neal was very responsive; clear directions to the cabin. We had a wonderful walk just across the road, along the Anton’s Gowt. If only we had our kayak! The cabin itself was lovely and clean. Neal kindly provided us with wine, milk, coffee which was a kind gesture. Thanks again for hosting us!

The Nestbox

CathyRating, 5 stars1 week ago
We have just come back from our stay at The Nestbox what a hidden gem , lovely quirky little cosy place. Jade and Hannah have really made this place feel like home from home. Lovely touch with a basket of little extras - porridge and treats to tempt your taste buds, milk , coffee, tea and a selection of various herbal tea's. There is also a coffee pod machine . A selection of games to keep you occupied as well as the television. To be honest who needs a TV when you can sit and look out at the lovely garden and catch the sun setting with a nice beverage . It was so peaceful there , and it was nice to wake up to the birds singing . There is also a pub next door which does amazing pizza's and various other dishes , staff are very welcoming . The bed is very comfy , next door has a spotless bathroom . As we were leaving we had the pleasure of meeting Jade who came to see if we had enjoyed our stay. We will defenitely be coming back 😊The Nest box ticked all our boxes and much more.
