Stable Cottage

SallyRating, 5 stars1 month ago
The cottage was lovely, big, spacious and sparkling clean. On a farm, with sheep and cows near by - but no farmyard smells! Very peaceful and easy to access North York Moors area. Has everything we needed, and owner friendly. The only downside was that Cottages dot com who manage the property only send auto generated information. One of which is to contact owner with arrival details but doesn't give owner contact info. When requested info by text got another autogenerated response. It wasn't a problem, as we got into place fine - and I assume if I had called Cottages dot com I would have got a better answer. Be aware of this but don't let it put you off - it is a great place.

Spindle Cottage

Stunning little cottage with great views. House was perfectly laid out, had more than enough stuff to be comfortable. It was very well insulated and Richard was very generous with the heating. The underfloor heating in the en-suites were a god-send too, allowed for comfortable showers and quick drying of clothes as our 6 month old was getting through a lot of them! Plenty of room for both of the kids to play and relax, smart TV allowed us to stream whatever we wanted (no paid subscriptions available, but you can log yourselves in). Basically, we loved it here and it will be our go-to for visiting our family on the east coast. Thank you very much for having us, we look forward to our next stay!

Little Lodge on the Yorkshire Wolds

CraigRating, 5 stars3 weeks ago
This is a very clean and modern cottage. Right in the heart of some beautiful British farmland. It has a very large, secure garden that our dog enjoyed exploring. There are some footpaths within a very short distance to take your dog on a walk. Parking is plentiful and right outside the door. Gina left us some essentials and teats, including dog biscuits which was a nice touch. The TV is enormous and the broadband very fast. We took our fire stick and had no problem streaming movies. It is exactly as you see in the pictures. Within 15 minutes drive there are plenty of quaint towns and visitor attractions. Gina left some visitor information for us, we had a drive into York which really is a must. We paid £14 for 3 hours parking so I would utilise the park and ride if I was doing it again.

Meadow View, Luxury Barn, near York

JezzRating, 5 stars1 week ago
Definitely the loveliest and best appointed airbnb's that we've stayed in. The place was immaculate and beautifully situated in rolling countryside with great views. We loved sitting out on the terrace for eating and drinking. Helen had vertical generously provided us with a bottle of prosecco, biscuits, cereal, milk, tea & coffee! There is plenty of room to park 2 and more cars.

On top of the wolds

Was as described and the surroundings were beautiful. My partner loves the place, was peaceful at night and the hot tub was a great way to relax after a few local walks with our dogs. The cottage itself was beautiful and tranquil, made us very much at home. Paula the owner was very welcoming upon arrival and put herself out when we needed anything, couldn’t ask for more
