Accommodation: Our historic house from the 15th century is located in a quiet location in the old town of Krems / Donau-Stein. The approx. 30m2 apartment is located directly in Stein's old town - an ideal location for a visit to the various museums close by or a day trip with one of the many ships up the Danube valley - a UNESCO World Heritage Site. In addition, the vibrant city centre of Krems with its coffee shops, confectionaries and bars and the Campus Krems are within walking distance.

Flat in an old farmhouse

We turned an old stable into an apartment. We tried to preserve the atmosphere of the place. The flat is located in the courtyard of a renovated old farm where we are living ourselves (parents and 2 children). The area is called the Wagram, 3 km away from the Danube and around 50 km away from the center of Vienna. Animals are also part of the family; one cat and a chicken with whom you are welcome to interact. However, they are not allowed in the flat :-)

38 bright and cozy square meters with private entrance, protected garden area, sauna, table tennis, hiking in the Gänsgraben to Heidenstatt ... Bicycles for the Heurigen ride, boats for river and lake and are available from us free of charge. And Josephsbrot, the really good bakery with a cafe is in the village! Susanne is a youth coach. As a mirror maker, I run Austria's last traditional mirror workshop. Hope to see you there!

Another two people can stay on the sofa bed. The property is ideal for a wide variety of excursions: the Wachau, Krems or the Waldviertel. But the capital Vienna is also just an hour away.

Due to the positive experiences as Airbnb hosts, we converted the smallest barn on our property into a tiny house in 2020-2022. We planned and built everything ourselves and hope our guests will feel comfortable and enjoy their time in Krems and the Wachau! The property is located only 1 minute walk from the center. In the center of Kirchberg am Wagram you will find shopping opportunities. Doctors, a pharmacy, baker and butcher are also available, as well as two banks and much more. The train station is a 10-minute walk. Despite the proximity to the center, the apartment is absolutely quiet.
