Was there for a short stay - thoroughly enjoyed! Was great for just the 2 of us and a good place to stay for going on lovely walks in the surrounding area. Would love to go back.

This little nook, was a home from home. It had everything you needed from a fully stocked kitchen to a lovely blanket in the lounge. It was impeccably clean and very homely. Complete with towels and tea! I would highly recommend. Parking was off street and private. Very quiet stretch of homes which was very welcoming compared to the hustle and bustle of the cities. The hosts were wonderful, friendly and welcoming. Highly recommended.

We’ve stayed in many Airbnbs over the year and Crimson Cottage is one of the best we’ve ever stayed in. Crimson Cottage is renovated barn to a very high standard with everything you need for a very comfortable stay. The cottage was beautifully clean with some lovely fresh flowers on the table. Some fresh eggs, milk, tea, coffee a tin of biscuits and box of black magic as a welcome treat. The location is perfect for a quiet get away, but close enough to explore the Lakes and coast. We had a great stay and definitely considering a return visit.

I stayed at Helen’s cottage with my daughter; we’ve both had a lot going on lately so really needed a break and that’s what we got. The cottage was outstanding, Helen thought of literally everything, even leaving a bottle of chilled Prosecco, some bread, tea, coffee, milk, butter and jam. When I said we were mother and daughter, she even made up the sofa bed for us. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend this peaceful little hideaway and its kind and generous host.
