This modern cabin is located in the Semmering UNESCO world heritage area of Semmering. The first mountain railway in the world was built 1854 and is still in service. You have stunning views from the house, constantly you can observe the changing moods of nature and see how light is sculpting the rocks and ridges of the Atlitzgraben. One feels like being included in a painting of Caspar David Friedrich... There are plenty of possibilities for walking, skiing and mountain biking.

Our apartment is somewhat secluded in beautiful and quiet surroundings. We have a farm with 25 dairy cows. Furthermore, our happy hens provide fresh eggs every day. There are also cats. Anyone who is interested is welcome to visit our cows and chickens and also to be there for the daily feeding. Where does the name Waldköhlerei [forest charcoal burner] come from? On our family farm, charcoal is produced using charcoal kilns according to old family tradition. We have a farm shop.

I am Markus and I live with my wife in a beautiful 16th century square courtyard. century with 4,000 m² of meadow & forest. We would also like to give you the opportunity to spend a wonderful vacation here with family and/or friends. In a multi-year and very complex renovation, the farm was completely renovated. Four residential units were created. We live in the east wing, in the south part there is another apartment and in the southwestern part there are 2 chalets.

The house has a heating with two Swedish stoves, which are able to heat the entire house. A modern kitchen with dishwasher, refrigerator (with freezer) and induction cooker completes the basic equipment. A wonderful place to relax and enjoy nature.
