Shopping and restaurants are within walking distance. The Haseltal cycle path leads directly past the property. The outdoor pool is about 300 meters away. The skiing and hiking areas in the Thuringian Forest (Oberhof with international competition venues and Schmiedefeld) are easily accessible by car in 20-30 minutes as well as by public transport.

After I inherited the farm from my grandfather, one thing was clear to me, "this farm is not for sale." Thus, together with my parents, I completely renovated the farm and created a modern furnished vacation home. In his honor, it has become "DER HENKELHOF," where we would like to extend a warm welcome to you. By "we" I mean my parents Heri & Ilona and me. Guest house on the Schleusehof... enjoy nature!

Our guest house (approx. 89m) is located on our mini-farm, which we run as a hobby. The lock yard is idyllically situated on a small river, where you can cool your feet on hot days. The house can accommodate 4 people (2 adults + 2 children). On request, we also have a baby bed for the little ones. The farm offers space to romp and relax. Cozy apartment for two people (+2 people). Separate entrance; underfloor heating; located on the outskirts of Hildburghausen with connection to the Werratal bike path. Baker in the immediate vicinity. Kitchen equipment: fridge, stove and dishwasher. A cozy terrace with grill is available to guests. We offer a fresh chicken egg from our chickens to each guest per day.

The Remise is an outbuilding of Bedheim Castle. In the house there are 2 bedrooms (a guest room with 2 beds and a dormitory with 10 beds), 2 bathrooms (each with 2 toilets and a shower) and a large kitchen-living room with a fireplace. Parking is available on the castle grounds.
