This beautiful and newly renovated apartment is located in the middle of the Thuringian Forest in Suhl-Mäbendorf with a parking space on the property. Large cottage garden for shared use. The Haseltal cycle path leads directly past the property. The ski and hiking areas in the Thuringian Forest (Oberhof with international sports facilities and Schmiedefeld) are easily accessible by car in 20-30 minutes as well as by public transport. Meiningen, Erfurt, Weimar or Coburg are also worth a visit and are easily accessible.

Cozy holiday idyll in the Thuringian Forest

My family and I live on the sunny outskirts of Waldau, directly in the beautiful Ansbachtal at the foot of the Thuringian Forest. A separate entrance leads you to your area of the house. The bright and newly renovated rooms invite you to relax. The forest is almost at your doorstep. It is only a few minutes by bike to the Ratscher mountain lake. The Goethe city of Ilmenau, the state capital of Erfurt or the Vestestadt of Coburg in neighboring Bavaria are easily accessible by highway.

Vacation home “Gina” on the edge of the forest

The idyllically located vacation home with a size of about 50 m² has a living room with open kitchen, bathroom, bedroom with space for 4 people and a dining area. The cottage is located in the climatic health resort of Finsterbergen directly on the edge of the forest in a small bungalow settlement. Because of its location it provides an ideal starting point for hikes (Rennsteig). The leisure pool with mini golf and volleyball and a tennis court are about 200 m away.

Old village church

The former village church is located in a 1,600 square meter property in the middle of the village of Erbshausen-Sulzwiesen. Surrounded on all sides, it is an ideal retreat without being "out of this world." In the morning sun in front of the sacristy, on the church wall in the afternoon or in the evening under fruit trees. In the lower tower room on the couch, in the upper tower room – the former bell room – while watching the birds. There is always a nice place.

Modern holiday home in the heart of the Grabfeld

After I inherited the farm from my grandfather, one thing was clear to me, "this farm is not for sale." Thus, together with my parents, I completely renovated the farm and created a modern furnished vacation home. In his honor, it has become "DER HENKELHOF," where we would like to extend a warm welcome to you. By "we" I mean my parents Heri & Ilona and me. Visit our apartment on the Little Thuringian Forest in the beautiful district of Gethles von Schleusingen. The apartment has a separate entrance and has two bedrooms for a total of 4 people. Take a vacation with us in a quiet, forest location and enjoy Thuringian cuisine. Hiking trails start right in front of the apartment. Regional and national cycle paths are available for cyclists. For motorcyclists, tours through the Thuringian Forest are available.

Guest house on the Schleusehof... enjoy nature!

Our guest house (about 89 m) is located on our mini-farm, which we run as a hobby. The Schleusehof is idyllically located on a small river, where you can cool your feet on hot days. The house sleeps 4 people (2 adults + 2 children). On request, we also have a baby cot for the little ones. The farm offers space to romp and relax.
