Holiday rentals with a fireplace in Knox County

We had an absolutely wonderful month long stay at this lovely cottage. Walter could not have been a more gracious host and so accommodating and caring when we had some trouble with our car in the winter weather, felt right at home! The nature is stunning and we can’t wait to come back in the summer sometime :)

Stunning view! Beautiful home! We loved waking up to sit down at the dock or sit on the couch and just look out the beautiful windows. The kitchen is fantastic! The bathrooms were spotless. We’ll definitely be back. One note- stop off and get groceries before you arrive. It’s remote enough that when you get there you don’t want to leave.

We had such a good time! Lots of space, kid friendly, well equipped kitchen, beautiful location by the water. Host communication was great. Hope to stay again sometime!

This is a beautiful cottage in a very peaceful area in a super small town. Easy drive to many small towns throughout Maine from the Canadian border to Portland. Not a lot in the immediate area but within a min 20-30 minute drive, there's lots to do. The cottage is exactly like the pictures and was a joy to stay in. The host was amazing and very helpful with providing ideas for local activities and things to see. We spent two weeks and really enjoyed it!

We had an incredible stay at the Blue Hill Bay house! Nestled in a peaceful wooded setting, the home feels wonderfully secluded, yet inviting. The expansive windows, especially from the top floor loft, make you feel like you’re living in a treehouse. We loved spending evenings around the fire pit, which is surrounded by thoughtfully curated plants, creating a truly magical atmosphere. The grill was easy to use, making outdoor meals a breeze. Inside, the beds were comfortable and the bathrooms spotless. We also appreciated how thoughtfully designed the space was, especially since it's hard to find a cute place that also warmly welcomes dogs. If you’re considering a stay here, don’t hesitate, this place is a gem! We can’t wait to return.

We loved our stay! Everything was as described and we had everything we needed in the kitchen to cook several meals. The view is absolutely beautiful from all parts of the house and we loved the outdoor amenities. Lucy was very responsive and gave us some great recommendations! Would love to come back!

The place was serene—the perfect spot to relax, unwind, and bond. It is spacious, featuring two bedrooms and two full bathrooms, which is a plus. Our stay this year was just as delightful and comfortable as it was a year ago. The house is a beautifully preserved 19th century captain’s house with attractive furnishings and pictures, and plenty of room for the four of us. The kitchen is well laid out and superbly equipped. George is an attentive and friendly host; we appreciated that he made a special effort to meet us and we enjoyed our conversation with him.

This was perfect for my solo vacation! It is in a perfect location, close driving distance to Camden and Belfast. But also right across from the beach and next to a great pizza place for the night I didn’t feel like venturing out. It feels private and peaceful even though it is right by the road. I loved having my coffee on the porch watching the boats. Thanks to the thick curtains and sound machine, I slept so well. Loved the tub, the comfy bed, the well stocked kitchen. I will be back!

This adorable addition to the family’s quaint farmhouse was cozy, warm and immaculately clean. Every detail was spot on. Kitchen was fully functional, as if you were in your own home. Luxurious linens and towels. Bed was very comfortable. Met all of our expectations and more! Beautiful property and close to Camden Harbour.

Nancy's place was perfect for our trip to Maine! We drove to Acadia from here and it was about an hour drive. The apartment was cozy and had a great view, she had everything well stocked and even provided coffee which I appreciated since I forgot to bring some!! Highly recommend for a nice Maine getaway.

Beautifully designed & decorated. Loved having a Nespresso maker as we always appreciate tasty coffee. Well stocked with everything you would need in kitchens and bathrooms! Very responsible host.

So peaceful but off season. So not sure how it would be with lots of traffic and people. But the private deck and entrance was wonderful. The water view couldn’t have been more up close and personal with the beautiful harbor. The place was clean and cozy. Perfect lighting. Didn’t watch tv once. A convenient common room for extra supplies or a cup of coffee. Staff was very friendly when we were checking out. No front desk attendant and none needed. They answer messages quickly!

This was a lovely little space, more like a ramped up hotel room, in a wonderful location central to Camden. Overall quiet and cozy and comfortable, most especially the bed. However, finding the parking was a bit confusing. I was not the only person staying there that had some trouble. The instructions being not quite as clear as they could. Nonetheless, there was parking and that was much appreciated.
