Huset ligger i et fredelig område på gården vår, i enden av en vei. Her kan du senke skuldrene og la tiden stå stille. Det er fint turterreng like utenfor døren. Du kan gå på stier i marka, eller ta bilen til populære destinasjoner i området som Preikestolen, Kjerag, Jærstrendene, Kongeparken, Sandnes og Stavanger.

At the lake there is a pavillion with a remarkable view where you can enjoy the sunset. A boat and canoe are available for free. It's a very private and quiet location, but still perfectly located in Ryfylke with all its breathtaking hikes nearby. In 2020 the bathroom and hall was totally refurbished, and a fiberoptic cable was installed with a fast wifi-connection.
