Mökki means "cottage" in Finnish. Spend your time in a special place surrounded by nature. Guest house Mökki is located in Shinano-cho, a town blessed with forests, lakes and snow in the northern part of Nagano Prefecture, with a wealth of natural areas such as Kurohime Kogen, Lake Nojiri and Togakushi nearby. You can freely use the comfortable building renovated with natural materials such as cedar, cypress, and plaster, the natural garden that creates seasonal scenery, and the forest where the stream flows.In the forest that we have been maintaining, you can see birds, squirrels, and marten, and you can enjoy strolling around looking for wild vegetables and mushrooms, as well as swings and hammocks. We also paid close attention to the interior design and kitchen utensils to make sure you can enjoy "living" in the space. At the gazebo by the stream, you can enjoy BBQ and campfires without worrying about the weather. It is ideal as a base for hiking, fishing, paddle boarding, and golf during the green season, and as a base for winter sports during the snow season. Across the road, the nationally registered tangible cultural property "Ichihara Shrine" sits quietly. Relax in a quiet townhouse that is a renovated old private house. As for the location, you can walk to the coast in 1 minute and enjoy the beautiful view of Toyama Bay and the majestic Tateyama mountain range, which is over 3000 meters high. Firefly squid sightseeing in early spring is also famous. The nearest station is an 8-minute walk to Nameri Station (Ainokaze Railway, Toyama Railway), and 9 minutes by car to the Nameri Interchange on the Hokuriku Expressway, with good access to Toyama Prefecture, Hokuriku, and the surrounding Gifu, Nagano, and Niigata prefectures. Accommodates up to 8 people. Nearby, there are fish shops and taverns where you can eat delicious fish from Toyama Bay, a natural fish tank, at affordable prices, as well as unique cafes and sweet shops. Public baths such as the Showa hidden hot spring "Shioyu", famous for its high temperature, and "Airabuyu", where you can enjoy deep ocean water, are also within walking distance.

Pet-friendly private wood sauna, Earthboat Togakushi

Earthboat is a hotel-like room with a fluffy bed, and you can enjoy the authentic outdoors, so you can feel free to camp novice. Minimal cooking utensils and coffee maker in the room and a BBQ grill outside. When it gets chilly, warm up slowly in a private wood-burning sauna with all buildings. Spending time with stunning views of the Togakushi Mountains creates a special time. Close to Togakushi Shrine, you can easily play in nature such as climbing, skiing, snowboarding, etc., and the ski resort is adjacent to one of the attractions. It's a great location Earthboat with a view of the beautiful mountain range. Please enjoy the scenery that changes depending on the sunrise, sunset, and time, from the barbecue, sauna breaks, and, of course, the large windows of the room. This house overlooks Lake Nojiri and has a superb view. There are several ski resorts (Myoko, Kurohime, Madarao) about 15-20 minutes away by car, making it a perfect base for winter sports. Enjoy the wood stove sauna and the water bath with a view. There are no private houses around, so you can listen to music and watch movies loudly. Because it is a house located deep in the mountains, we take the best measures, but in the warm season, insects come out. It snows a lot in winter. In autumn, fallen leaves dance. You will also need to adjust the wood stove fire yourself. It's not an easy house to live in, but we promise you a great view and experience. Enjoy cooking with a counter kitchen with a view, condiments and cooking utensils. (There is no equipment for BBQ)

Spend your leisurely days admiring the pure white mountains of Tateyama in winter and spring, and the mountain peaks of Tateyama dyed in autumn with autumn leaves. Tateyama Station, the gateway to the Tateyama Kurobe Alpine Route, can be reached in about 10 minutes by car. Tateyama Foothills Ski Resort is a 5-minute drive away. Great for skiing, snowboarding. You can also take a snowshoe walk around Piste!

This is a stylish log cabin located in a pristine wooded area at an altitude of 1,300 meters (4,265 feet) in Iizuna, Nagano. The home is the perfect retreat for couples, families or small groups. It features a wood burning stove, large TV, Blu-ray/DVD player, stereo, leather chairs, and full kitchen. Enjoy hiking, skiing, BBQ, golf or hot spring onsen baths in the area. The home is approximately a 20-minute drive from Nagano Station on the JR Hokuriko Shinkansen bullet train and Shinano Railway.
