This garden cottage was straight out of a romantic fairytale! The gorgeous garden surrounding the cottage and the view of the water and misty rolling hills framed perfectly by a stone wall and ivy were just breathtaking (especially while sitting in the wood fire heated hot tub). The cottage itself was incredibly cozy. We had nearly gotten stranded on Islay with car issues and we weren’t even sure we’d get to enjoy this stop on our holiday. By the time we arrived, we were completely exhausted from the chaos of the previous 24 hours so this relaxing and welcoming space was exactly what we needed to decompress. ☺️ The cottage was well equipped and very clean! We had everything we needed and then some. Caroline was an exceptional host. She was remarkably responsive and lovely to interact with both prior to our stay (when we weren’t sure we’d be able to make it) and during our stay! Anyone with the opportunity to stay here, should absolutely do it! Thank you for everything, Caroline!!

Was very happy with our stay here, The evening with the hot tub was lovely and private, everything was clean and well presented. There was games left in the house for our use and we got use of these. The instructions before arriving to find location was helpful although the postcode in Apple Maps did take us straight the correct location which was great. Overall we were very pleased with the whole experience and would stay again. The added bonus was the hosts had a new puppy and we got to meet this beautiful fur baby on checkout.

We had an amazing couple of days in this awesome Airbnb. Michelle gave us a warm welcome, when we arrived. The house is a perfect place to explore the Isle of Skye and relax in the hut tub in the evening and enjoy the sea view. We would have wished to stay longer and will definitely be back. One hundred percent recommended.

We loved our stay in the waterfall cottage! It was a perfect place for our newlywed destination to kick off our honeymoon. The view is stunning and we loved drinking our morning coffee in the back porch taking it all in. The inside is very cozy and we cooked many meals in the kitchen which was well appointed. There are other lodgings directly adjacent to the property but fortunately were all vacant otherwise it would have been less private than expected. This is listed as a detached cottage, but a wall is directly shared with a cottage next door technically making this a duplex. A bit misleading but all good since it was vacant for our stay. Nina was responsive to all our questions which we appreciated. We loved Loch Tay, the Crannog Center, and Aberfeldy nearby. While there are no direct signs to get to the lochside, there are paths down to the loch through the gate or nearby boathouse lodge entrance from the road to walk down to see the water.

This was a great find. Katrina is one of the most responsive and informative hosts I have had on Airbnb. Being from out of the country we had several questions and she answered so quickly. There were some hiking trails near by which was a nice surprise, and Katrina recommended Gloagburn which was a hidden gem! Would recommend this to anyone looking to be off the beaten path but still have plenty to do!

The house was wonderful - we were delighted with both the location and with the property. The house was immaculate, and beautifully furnished with some really lovely pictures and objects throughout. The rooms were all good-sized and bright with the kitchen/dining area overlooking the garden a real standout. It was very well maintained and it felt like a proper home from home. The location was really lovely too - nice and quiet with a very short walk to the beach. We particularly enjoyed our walks around the area and along to Chanonry Point to look for the dolphins. A local pub and a lovely restaurant were close by too which was a bonus! Our host, Eva, provided us with clear and concise information prior to our arrival and messaged us a couple of times during our stay to make sure that all was in order. This was very much appreciated. We would not hesitate to recommend the property to others, and we certainly plan to visit again!

We absolutely loved our stay at Betty’s Lookout! Incredible place, with stunning views. Spent my 30th birthday here, and I couldn’t have imagined a better place. The only thing was the hot tub could have been a little bit hotter, but was still nice to soak in for a while!

Angel Share is the most memorable place of our stay in Scotland. As well as being completely beautiful, the hosts are of incomparable kindness. Always ready to help, but quite discreet, it's in the biggest favorites of our trip. Max and Maddle pet therapy bonus. What's not to love✨

Beautiful cottage. Felt out of the way but was close to road into portree. Very warm building, bathroom and rooms superb. Would highly recommend and revisit. Visiting sheep was an added bonus!

Very responsive and polite owners when we needed them. The cottage was beautiful with recommendations of places to visit. Stunning views from the living room watching the sun set and beautiful garden for the dogs to roam. Not too far away from lovely walks out in the country, and the shops in the town nearby, isn’t too much of a drive. The cottage also has all the kitchen utensils you could need and plenty storage space. Felt very welcoming and clean when we arrived too

The Weather's cottage is a beautiful nest to escape to in the Highlands. There are beautiful walks around the peninsula but it is very well equipped for rainy days as well with board games and books galore. It is also well stocked with kitchen and bathroom essentials etc I would love to go back.

A small pearl, totally quiet & on a beautiful, natural property on the outermost tip of Skye, as it could not fit better to the island! I felt very welcome & immediately at home! Thank you very much for the great hospitality!

We spent a perfect few days at the Garden Cottage, and only wish we could have stayed longer! It was everything we hoped for while visiting the Highlands and exploring the area. The view is just spectacular. It was so peaceful and quiet. We enjoyed hiking to the Hill Bothy on the trail behind the house, walking and seeing the farm animals, waking up to the sounds of birds, and sitting by the fireplace in the evening watching the clouds go by and the sunset late into the night. Kate made everything seamless and easy to feel right at home in. Cannot recommend enough and hope to be back soon!

What a lovely little gem this place is. Very clean and comfortable with everything you need for a comfortable stay. The area is beautiful, wish we had longer to explore. We only used one of the listed restaurants, The Bistro, and although it was a bit pricey- it is worth every penny- the food is amazing. Thank you Emma and Andrew- you have done a great job with this cottage. Good communication and good directions. 😊 Overall- we would highly recommend this property.

My daughter traveled with me to explore the Highlands. After reading the reviews I thought the Marble Cottage could be a good fit for our travels. It was exactly as described. No surprises. Spotless! Anne and Donald were excellent hosts. The apartment is attached to the hosts' home but you have as much privacy as you want. They are both very warm and welcoming, and they spent time with us and made us aware of some less-well-known places on Skye. Our trip was enhanced by their recommendations. My only regret is that we could not spend more time in Skye. Broadford is a great place to launch explorations of the island, and retreat to a quiet place without leaving the island. The town also has a nice CoOp grocery store and several good restaurants. Reminder that the cottage is partially obscured from the road by a wooden shop closer to the highway, so we drove past it initially but quickly re-traced our steps and found the correct entrance. Just a wonderful experience overall.

David & Aisling's place was beautiful beyond words. The location was perfect – short driving distance to Portree and it had everything we need for a very comfortable, warm stay. View from the living area was the best and perfect for winding down after a day out. Would definitely want to come back again if I can!

The Shack is a very comfortable, well appointed abode in a beautiful quiet area close to Portree. Views from the bedroom are beautiful; looking over Loch Portree toward Old Man of Storr. Barbara had placed two comfy chairs in the bedroom from which one can enjoy the view. The listing does indicate a freezer but the fridge doesn’t have a freezer. If you’re there more than a couple of nights you need to pack dishwashing tabs, teabags etc as supplies seem designed for one or two days only. Cake in arrival was a nice touch.

We absolutely loved our cottage! Super comfortable and very clean. It is located in a calm place, but very close to Portree by car. Sarah was always available to help and we truly appreciate all the tips given, it was great

Our stay at Tin House was memorable! It was our first visit to Scotland and we chose Isle of Skye as our prime destination. Being an architect and arts administrator from New York, we searched the Airbnb map for a remote, seaside farm setting and found Tin House. The house and setting were even more beautiful than advertised! The rural architecture (inside and out), while modern, felt right in the gentle slope to the sea surrounded by sheep. Although we loved exploring and hiking the island, we were equally content to stay in place, the Tin House felt like home. We never tired of the constantly changing views and were in awe of the natural beauty of the sea, the cliffs across the loch and distant views to the Outer Herbrides Islands.

This was one of the best airbnbs I have stayed in. It was well accommodated, spacious, peaceful, and just beautiful. We had a full house at this stay and never felt cramped. I loved that each room had its own full bathroom. The kitchen was beautiful and I wish I had it in my own home. We were in walking distance to a coffee shop, grocery store, gift shop and the claymore restaurant/shellfish shack. The shellfish shack was a highlight for us. If you can it's a must eat. The windows in the bedroom has mechanical blinds that blocked out all the light, which if you visit during the spring/summer and like to sleep in darkness it's a must. The views from the living room and bedrooms were gorgeous. We caught beautiful sunsets. I would definitely stay here again and again if I could. I look forward to visiting again one day.
