Very beautiful and clean house with excellent mountain view. Great showers. The owner operates a coffee shop on the first floor, which is very convenient for breakfast. Takao san gave great suggestions for local tours and was very happy to welcome our family, including our dog!

We had a comfortable stay on the island with a relaxing time, and we had time to leave the island in no time. Here's what I felt was good. ⚫There was a transfer from arrival at the port to the inn There were even dishes, kitchen tools, and condiments that ⚫I could travel like a local. ⚫I felt the owner's high-level hospitality, such as frozen food, shochu high, water server, etc. with a focus on local Saga and Kyushu choices. ⚫I was relieved to have a direct phone call from the owner in case of an emergency ⚫Clean towels and futons ⚫The water pressure in the shower was great ⚫Detailed cleaning ⚫There were cute seashells just a short walk to the beach ⚫The sunset from the beach was beautiful It's a magnificent house with an impact⚫. It was big enough for training, camps, and retreats It was an extraordinary trip that felt unique to the island. They kindly contacted us before our stay, and we were able to stay with peace of mind. Hosts were very friendly with personal touch, eg. welcome gifts of local snacks. Place was very well stocked with everything that you would need and more. It was coming home to your parents’ place.

Yuko-san was great. She sent photos of the turn-off to get to the place, as it is not well-marked from the street. She met us upon arrival and showed us around. The road to approach the place is steep and narrow, and it was quite challenging to turn around at the end, even in a small car. We had an entire house, and it was quite spacious. Some areas seemed worn or older, and perhaps in the middle of a remodel, but it seemed fairly clean overall. Some of the ceilings were quite low, and passages between rooms were even lower. We had a couple of spiders as visitors, but nothing too strange for being in the country. The beds were quite hard, but I found some extra padding and was OK when I used that with the original bedding. It was nice to have an actual couch, too, as we haven't had many in our month in Japan. Yuko also had fresh produce and sauces we could eat/use for cooking. The kitchen was well-equipped and easy to use. Wifi worked well. We would gladly stay here again!

The place was so quiet and peaceful, perfect for relaxation. At night, when I looked up to the sky, it was like a blanket of stars enveloping me. An absolutely magical experience!

The location above the mountain cliffs by the sea is superb.Huge floor-to-ceiling windows face the sea and beautiful sunrise sunsets every day!There are chairs and hammocks on the deck and a fire bowl under the deck to light a bonfire!The room has a minimalist design, the furniture bed used has a quality matching the trailer remodeled room with the atmosphere of a vacation by the sea!The staff were very friendly and helpful!I love it!If you go to Miyazaki, you will definitely check in again!

This is my second time staying here and it'll always be my top choice when I'm in the area :) The house is clean and cozy and the surrounding area is so peaceful, quiet, and dreamy. Everything is beautiful and I feel so relaxed staying here. There was a big storm the last time I stayed, but the patio is fully covered, so I got to sit outside and sip my coffee while listening to and watching the rain. The bathroom and kitchen are so well-stocked -- I haven't cooked here but the kitchen makes me want to! John is also a fantastic host who is so kind and accommodating. Highly recommend staying here if you have a chance!

The old house has been renovated and was very clean and stylish. There was no close house, so we had a relaxing stay.

It was beautiful, like a mountain hut.

Even if you don't live by the sea I was able to experience the relaxation of a private house where I could hear the nature, air and birdsong of Itoshima💕.

We had a great stay at this property! The house is located on a beautiful hillside with stunning views of the sea. The sauna overlooking the ocean was a real highlight – and it’s included at no extra cost. The pool is very large and can be used privately, which made for a very relaxing experience. We also enjoyed the spacious garden, and check-in was smooth with easy and responsive communication throughout. If we had to mention anything, the kitchen could use a few more pots and pans, and the interior felt a bit plain – a few decorative touches or some artwork on the walls would make it feel more homey. Overall, we really enjoyed our stay!

A great place to consider for families who like to huddle together and enjoy the facilities provided by Kuromi. 4 TVs, 2 kitchens with all the tools, a beautiful outdoor area for grills and just chilling out. Kuromi was also very responsive to queries. They had a team on standby to inspect the lights and alternative solutions were given to ensure a great experience to my family. Recommended!

We had a great stay. :) the place was really beautiful and relaxing with all the nature and also the renovated japanese interiors. We were able to do BBQ grilling and also a night movie night with the in house projector. There were only 3 beds which were very comfortable and the rest of our friends stayed on the futon. Our host Koike San was so nice and helpful. He could speak English and even helped us book a car rental and made our stay a lot more enjoyable. :) We really enjoyed our stay and would recommend it, especially for groups of 4 at least :)

Great location near Beppu Station, very easy to get around. The host was super kind and explained everything clearly. There’s also a helpful guidebook. Highly recommended!

A quiet house on a hill, reasonably close to the center of Sasebo.You can also reach the city center by bus or taxi.The room was clean and perfect.

A very homely Japanese family house with tatami floors. It felt like we were staying at a friend's place (who happens to have kids lol). The neighbor is very quiet and I'm sure the host family is very friendly and helpful, but we only stayed one night and left very early in the morning.

It is a great choice for the experience of staying in a family home in Japan. It is worth recommending when staying with friends or adult families, and it is a bit unfortunate that it is a completely residential area in terms of walking, but it is recommended for those who come by rental car. However, the parking lot is smaller than expected, so it is difficult to park a large car. I think you should check the parking size in the description. There are quite a lot of grocery stores and shopping malls within driving distance. The building is on the old side, but the convenience part was well remodeled, so there was nothing very uncomfortable. Please note that the water pressure in the shower is a little weak (regular faucets are not bad)

Magical, cosy home in a quiet local neighbourhood. Good local restaurants a short drive away. Host Taro offers a great personal touch, checking us in and out, stocking up snacks and desserts in the unit, even buying us a take-out breakfast on our check out! Highly recommended as a base to explore Nagasaki!

We wanted a peaceful stay in the forest and it was all of that. Even though it was raining we were able to sit outside undercover and listen to the birds, the river and the tranquil sounds of the rain. The house had everything we needed. Tomo san was a great host and made sure we had all that we needed and was very quick to respond to all communication. He was willing to help in any way. We loved our stay. SD, Lani and Dexter

I can't believe there's a place like this in Yawata Nishi Ward... You can also spend time freely with your dog, and you can have a BBQ in the garden. Even if you run out of alcohol, you don't have to go all the way to the store, the host has prepared it for you. This is a very rare inn in this area. The house is spacious and you can really relax.
