Stone Cottage in Grounds of a 16th-Century Castle

The cottage sits on the grounds of a castle dating back to 1543 offering an authentic stay. The interior retains a decor that matches the historic charm of the area with modern comforts added and a shared pool in the stunning gardens outside. This is our smallest cottage and cannot take an additional bed or cot. The other cottages are all larger and can do this. All 3 cottages can be rented separately or together. They are in the grounds of a 16th century castle with beautiful gardens and large swimming pool enclosed by stone walls. The lower salon and summer kitchen in the main chateau is available to share. Access is by the side garden gate and all cottages are accessed by stone steps- sadly not suitable for wheelchairs. We will most likely be present living in the main Chateau and available to help and advise about restaurants and things to do in the area. We will share the pool and gardens. The old village is in a beautiful part of France that is has retained its iconic beauty through the centuries and still feels untouched by modern life in many places. Experience true local dining and bakeries with scenic walking trails all around. parking is in the church square below the Chateau. There is a local taxi service in the village and bus service to Avignon, Banyols sur Ceze and Uzes but car hire is recommended. We are 20 minutes from Avignon TGV rail station and about an hour from Marseille, Nimes or Montpellier airports. The cottages are completely private and tranquil.

je vous propose de séjourner dans ma maison de 110 m authentiques , construite sur la roche pour 5 personnes, 4 adultes, qui est un pied dans la forêt. vous apprécierez sa situation au plus haut du village. vous bénéficiez de 2 terrasses bien exposée, vous sortez de la maison, monter quelques marches rustique et vous êtes a l'ombre des micocouliers . lieu de départ de rendonner et escalade. vous serez a 1 km de l' étang . bistrot de pays 300m. 10 mn d'Uzès ou de saint Quentin la poterie

The little hut near Uzès

The small cabin is located in a Gard village just a 15-minute drive from Uzès. It is at the back of the house of its owners, once you pass the small wooden gate and go up the gravel driveway, that you will find it nestled. Made and beautifully decorated by your hosts, it will offer you an elegant and comfortable vacation spot. You can also enjoy its exteriors with its terrace and garden offering a pleasant view of the shared pool.

Located near Avignon, Nîmes,the Pont du Gard, Anduze, Alès, Saint Quentin la Pottery... very well placed for tourism as well as for beautiful hikes in the countryside or climbing in the rocks of our village ( site la beaume des gaulois) Nearby, Dions, Collias or the sautadet, the bridge of the guard are water points to cool off and very beautiful to visit.
