This beachfront apartment is perfect for a relaxing getaway with friends or family. The décor has a Spanish flare, with beautiful handcrafted wood furniture. The open kitchen and dining area is fully-equipped. Note from the owner: Mi casa es su casa. This apartment was my grandparent’s when they wanted to getaway from Germany and enjoy the Spanish sun and sea. They have passed it down to me and now I want you to enjoy it in the same way, as your home away from home. You are welcome to use anything in the apartment and treat it as if it were your own. The apartment is ideal for a family or group of friends up to 4 persons. You have 2 private bedrooms, of which one is closed off with curtains, 1 bathroom with stand-up shower, and plenty of open space and seating areas for relaxation. Free WiFi is included. All bed linens, towels, kitchen equipment, including dishwasher, microwave, oven, a cupboard full of spices, and a washing machine are available for your use. The open seating areas also have board games, books (including cook books), and a stereo system. You have access to the garden and tables next to the building, where you can have lunch or barbecue (portable barbecue available). Here, you can also use the clothesline to sun dry your clothes. We also have umbrella shades on the beach, sun chairs, a bicycle, yoga mat, and other beach equipment for your enjoyment. The apartment is on the second floor of the building, 'Oden.' For cooking, you can also find all your local food, including fresh fish, fruits, and vegetables at the local supermarkets (Mas y Mas, Mercradona, etc.). Take a pleasant walk (within 20 minutes) to the historic old town of Altea, famous for its art and handicrafts. If you want to enjoy a picturesque run or hike, you will find well-marked hiking trails behind the building, under the bridge, that lead to the waterfalls of the small river 'Rio Algar' and spectacular views of the mountains. You can also stop and shop at the local flea market on your way back to the apartment (mostly on weekends). Size: 60 m2. First floor with elevator. Few neighbors and quiet. It has a cold and heat pump, living room with sofa bed, kitchen and bathroom. Possibility of parking a few meters away for an additional fee and forget about the car, because you have all the services within walking distance to get to know the entire historic center and downtown.
