The Nest is a perfect, seaside retreat situated within easy reach of excellent restaurants (the best Pizza place on the Island is beneath the apartment and you can get a discount!), all transport options (buses and cabs and plenty of beautiful walks), and there is a small Morrisons on the corner of the street if you want to cook yourself. Couldn't be better. Dave is a friendly host with a keen interest in making your stay as easy and comfortable as possible. He was very responsive to any small enquiry and basically couldn't do enough even though I was there over the Christmas period. When I arrived some lights were on and so was the heating, which was much appreciated as my journey from the midlands had been tortuous! The Nest is also a very interesting place, part of its owners ambition to start a restaurant and accommodation project on the Island where he grew up - the renovation of both the apartment and the pizzeria beneath is impressive.

Immaculate and spotless apartment and really comfortable in a nice block of modern apartments. Nice touch with provisions left. Very close to lovely beaches and easy access to many key tourist spots. Kim was excellent in communicating with me before and during our stay. The satnav did not take us to the property, and so for a while we struggled to find anyone who knew where it was. Once we did though he helpfully showed us to it- the local Co-op as a clue having given it away! - and then really easy to access the apartment with clear instructions. Would highly recommend. I had a great stay at Ian & Jo's place. The house was well equipped, clean and comfortable. Ian & Jo were quick to respond, friendly and helpful. Highly recommended.
