Both Chantal and her partner Jacques were very friendly and helpful providing local advice regarding cycling routes and activities in the local area. They made us feel very welcome. The location is excellent. Not only is it centrally located to many of the historic sites but also in close walking distance to the village and canoe hire on the Vezere river. apartment is very comfortable and lacks any clutter.

The house with a huge garden and pool is a fantastic and quiet hideout and an ideal place to relax. Nadine is a super host and we are already looking forward to a future vacation with her.

We had a great family holiday at Fabrice's place. The house is very well located with many activities nearby. The area is very rich in walks, prehistoric rock shelters, geological cave, medieval or cave village, castles and canoe rides on the Vezere! Fabrice advised us at the beginning of our stay and we were not disappointed! The smuggler's house has a story and it's a real vacation home where you feel good. Yes, there are walkers on the trail and on the river, but that doesn't bother people are polite and nice encounters can be made. Finally, what a joy to go swimming in the river when you want! The only downside are the mosquitoes but the house has outlets for the rooms, and the swallows and bat take over the tortillon at night.
