Holiday rentals with lake access in La Rochelle

The house is very nice, spacious and bright, and well-equipped, as described, in a natural and quiet environment. Everything was perfectly clean, the bed linen too. We were able to enjoy the outdoors and the barbecue, it was perfect! We will definitely come back the next time we visit this beautiful region of the Poitevin marsh.

This was the third time in this lovely house. Close to the center of the village and within walking distance of the sea!! Absolutely recommended!

Beautiful house suitable for children and recently renovated. The secure swimming pool and private access to the beach through a forest are a plus. many things available on site such as barbecue, well-equipped kitchen and games for children. Very welcoming and responsive hosts. Even better than in the photos. We'll be back!

The listing description was as we expected, all the amenities were present and functional. the most: step-free house and fully fenced.. easy for children and the elderly and the dog:) Nearby: bakery, market, children's play area and at the edge of a small arm of the sea! It was perfect for our big weekend. Recommended!

For a first Airbnb experience, we had a great weekend at Christine's! She is super responsive and answers all our questions. The apartment is very nice, well-equipped, exactly as described. Christine takes care of everything before we arrive, which makes the stay even easier. Everything is a stone's throw away: aquarium, beach, no need for a car, perfect for relaxing. I sincerely thank you for this stay, Christine. I would definitely stay again. I discovered La Rochelle, a beautiful city with a lot of charm. Between the old port, the picturesque alleys and the sweetness of life, I had a truly unforgettable stay.

We spent 2 very pleasant weeks with our 4-year-old daughter. The cottage is very well equipped and comfortable, the covered terrace is very nice. The indoor pool is a real plus. The residence is close to all amenities and especially the market. We could have gone mostly by bike. We would definitely recommend this listing.

This stay was particularly refreshing. We were received by Pierre, who was very welcoming and told us about the history of the estate and showed us the possible activities on it (hiking and swimming among others). The place is really beautiful and the place very cozy for two.

Séverine is a great host; the house is very nice with all the necessary amenities and is very well located, with a large quiet garden but not isolated with several restaurants close by. We are delighted with our stay!

The Domaine de Loups has been one of the most special places we have ever stayed. The estate and river valley are a hidden gem in the agricultural landscape. The owners are welcoming and generous and you have freedom to explore the entire estate including using the boat to travel up the river. We loved watching a family of six kestrels in nearby trees. The property was spotlessly clean and well appointed with comfortable beds. Thank you for a lovely stay.

We spent a week in mid-July with family (2 adults 2 small children) in this little house in Port des Barques. The house is true to the photos, well equipped with an enclosed garden ideal for children. The house is well located in the city center of Port des Barques. The bakery and children's games are all within walking distance. Be careful though, the beach (with water reserve) is accessible rather by bike, difficult to walk there. Bikes available in the accommodation. The coastline is flat, it is an oyster farming area so no beaches where swimming is possible nearby except the one with the water reserve 5-10min by bike. Otherwise possibility to get to Fouras 30min by car. Quiet, relaxing stay and beautiful discovery of a region that we did not know!

From the initial warm welcome which showed us the facilities and grounds we could explore we were made to feel very comfortable to relax and enjoy our holiday. The property is perfectly set up for families, the children had so much they could do to entertain themselves from swimming in the pool, basketball, ping pong and checking for eggs from the chickens! On top of this the beautiful grounds gave further walks around the lake topped off with kayaks and paddle boards there was so much to do a week was not long enough! A fantastic property and lovely hosts.
