Situated in a quiet street in one of the most authentic beautiful hilltop villages in the Luberon, recently remodeled 17th century house offers you a unique experience of a tastefully and lovingly decorated private apartment on 3 levels by ist antique dealer owner. Guests are welcome to use the owner's 12-meter-lap-pool, shared with his 3 other rentals, situated in his unique calm closed magic garden. From the street the main entrance gate opens onto a terrace. This first patio belongs to the neighbours, but you have a right of passage to access the property. Several steps lead up to your terrace with a table and chairs, perfect for having meals outside. From here you enter the apartment through large glass doors into a well-equipped kitchen with a dining table and chairs. From there a staircase leads to the first floor, where you will find a large and comfortable open-plan bedroom/living-room with fireplace and a large, also open-plan bathroom with a rain shower in the middle of the room as well as a conventional hand shower and a toilet in an alcove. French windows open from the bathroom onto a balcony. A further flight of stairs leads from the bedroom/living-room up to the mezzanine with a daybed and rooftop terrace, the third level. Through floor-to-ceiling french windows you enter the large terrace furnished with a table and chairs, as well as a sun-lounger, making it an ideal place to relax end enjoy the views over to the Luberon. This is a lovely place to enjoy a drink while watching the sun set. Under the stairs up to the mezzanine you find your own washing machine. The character of the house, the architecture as well as the interior decoration is full of original antiques and vintage pieces, carefully selected by the owner and has an absolute unique handwriting. It will appeal to everyone who loves an aesthetically unique and novel experience. Parking: You can unload your baggage at the house and park you car free of charge a one minute's walk away on the convenient public parking of the village. Linen, Pool Towels: all included Information about Goult and the Area: At the heart of the „Triangle D’Or“, Goult makes an ideal base for exploring the many surrounding villages, as well as larger towns such as Avignon, Aix-en- Provence and Marseille, all within 15 mins to 1hr30mins' drive away. All amenities, restaurants, bar, coffee places, the famous 'Cafe de la poste‘, groceries, bakery, butcher, fromagerie, market on thursday with regional products, as well as a couple of little shops with local handmade art, regional products and antiques are all one-minute’s walk away to be explored. Walks up to the windmill, the castle, the church through the little peaceful winding streets of the village as well as gorgeous walks directly from the village into the beautiful nature, eg. natural terrasses, views, lavender fields and partly through light forests are highly recommended. Electronic bicycles are possible to be rented in Coustellet or Apt to discover the surrounding area. Additionally you can visit the owners 'Borie‘, an original habitation by the rural population of the region in the ancient times, where you can have your picnic. Picnic-blankets to sit on are lent by the owner for that occasion. The 'Borie‘ is a 5 mins walk away. Guests are welcome to use the owner’s 12-meter lap-pool, situated in the quiet and secluded magic adjoining owner's garden. This absolutely unique garden will offer you an exceptional memorable souvenir, welcoming you to use all amenities available such as 2 relaxing lay matts surrounded by trees to cover you with the necessary shadow, a daybed hidden in a vaulted corner by the pool as well as a rocking chair with a shower in another vaulted alcove by the pool. There are little terraces to be wandered around and a table with chairs to have your meal in that paradise. I live next-door, and are happy to answer your questions and offer suggestions if needed. Goult is known by the locals as the "hidden village" of the Luberon, and is appreciated for its pleasant, authentic atmosphere. There are several very good restaurants in the heart of the village as well as the lively "Café de la poste". You can unload your baggage at the house and park you car free of charge a one minute's walk away on the convenient public parking of the village. GOOD TO KNOW ABOUT YOUR TRIP TO GOULT A 2 days stay at Goult is a minimum, ideal would be 4 days or more. Reservations at the restaurants in Goult and the Luberon are necessary. The restaurants are often fully booked 1 or 2 weeks ahead. Think of reserving ahead of time !!! For cooking at home, all my 3 apartments have well equipped kitchens. Coffee and tee are provided. This ancient cabin of our ancestors has been renovated and enlarged respecting the tradition and charm of the old stonework. Among the fields and vineyards, you'll find rest and calm. It is 1.5 km from the village of Ménerbes classified as " one of the most beautiful villages in France". At the crossroads of the villages in the Luberon: Gordes, Roussillon, Bonnieux, Lacoste, Oppède...you will make wonderful discoveries. Every day, Provençal markets, exhibitions, walks to keep you entertained. Special places to stroll like Isle sur Sorgues and its antique shops, Fontaine de Vaucluse and the emergence of the Sorgues, Avignon, City of the Popes, Saint Remy de Provence and the villages of the Alpilles... House entirely reserved for the tranquility of 6 travelers. Thanks to its U-shaped architecture, each section reserves a certain independence for holidaymakers. Several dining areas are available: Under the trellis covered with reeds, in the shade of the large oak tree on the cutting stone table, or in the dining room. You will have a large fully-equipped main kitchen and a kitchen/ linen closet with washing machine, dryer. Each bedroom has its own bathroom for privacy. We live in Ménerbes ourselves and will be able to provide you with all the help you need. A mid-week visit is planned for pool maintenance. Explore Cultural Sites Near a Studio in the Hills of Luberon

This studio is really charming, and have a lot of cachet ! located in the heart Bonnieux at less than 5 mn walking from all amenities (restaurants, shops...), you will enjoy the "Provençal way of life" during your stay. In the bedroom, you will feel away from the modern world standing below its 400 years old arches! But you will have all the comfort of a newly renovated place with a separate entrance, your private bathroom, a wifi access, an equiped kitchen... You will enjoy having a drink and your meals outside on the terrace. Important : For those willing to rent a larger place (up to 4 pax), we also rent a duplex apartment with a fully equipped kitchen. You will find this other listing named "charming duplex apartment" in my profile. The studio is all yours. It's an independent apartment with its own private courtyard and entry door. We always do our best to help our guests and to make sure that they have all what they need during their stay : booking restaurants, providing advices and tips about the area, where to go, what to do... We are always happy to talk with them and guide them trough their journey in Provence to make it a wonderful stay. The studio is located in the heart of the Village of Bonnieux, in the foothills of the Massif du Luberon, 50 kilometers east of the mediaeval city of Avingnon. Shops, restaurants, and other amenities are within a 5-minute walk of the house. It is possible to come to Bonnieux by Bus from Marseille (Marignane International Airport), Aix en Provence (TGV Station) or Avignon (TGV Station). However, the best option is definitely to rent a car. We are close (1 hour drive) from Avignon and Aix en Provence (TGV stations), and Marseille (Marignane International Airport). Lot of our previous guests were landing in Nice (around 3h away from Bonnieux) because there is a good choice of international flights. The Cabanon is a Provence stone build studio, part of the historical house called "La Cure" on the highest elevation point of Menerbes . Located on the second floor facing southwest, you'll access it using an outside stone stair from the garden on the ground floor. Old fashioned but well maintained. It offer a breathtaking view on the Luberon and a most relaxing environment for a few days of peace. Since April this year "La Cure (Historical Guesthouse)" is also available for booking on Airbnb.

Our home has about 530 sq ft containing a large living/dining/cooking room, one bedroom (with a 160x200 cm bed) and a new shower bath. There is an A/Cs in each room, which can also heat. Furthermore you will find around the house 3 terraces surrounded by a garden (approx. 5.000 sq ft) and a panoramic view. One parking spot. Very calm area.
