Holiday houses in Lagna

This a great, spacious apartment well located in the centre of Orta San Giulio. It has been newly renovated and to be honest the photos don't really do it justice. We really enjoyed our stay.

This is a very very special place and we had an amazing holiday here swimming and paddle boarding on the lake, hiking in the mountains and enjoying many meals al fresco with the very special view of Orta San Giulia from the house. This is an old family home so don’t expect fancy modern furnishing and equipment. But the antiques and decor only add to a special feeling and beds are comfortable, bathrooms fine with plenty of hot water and everything you need for your holiday is provided. We brought our own paddle boards as it was cheaper to pay to bring them than hire locally and we enjoyed being able to jump on them from the end of the garden and find some sun when the sun was off the garden late afternoon. Also there are bitey midges so bring repellant.

Gael and Ulrika's house is a blast! It's very well put, with very noble materials and with great taste. The location is UNIQUE! There is a view that can be appreciated from every room of the lake and mount them; awesome!! It was her home for 15 a;os and they take care of it very carefully. The terrace is wonderful and spacious, there is a saltarinas for the boys ( and big) To get there is a steep descent that can be stressful but worth this little one;or try!!! You can go down to Pella walking. The journey is very short, although if steep, very good daily exercise. The area is lovely, and there are several walks to do. Gael and Ulrika tell you everything!!!

First of all, this location is absolutely outstanding. It is directly on the lake just south of town. The island is front and center and it is so peaceful and quiet. We loved lounging next to the lake in the afternoons, watching the ducks swim and the boats sail by. The “cottage” itself is compact but perfectly comfortable for 2-3 people. It is very bright and airy, although it would have been great to have screens on the sliding glass doors so we could have breezes at night. We had an unusual check in experience, which was mostly our own fault. We followed the check in directions online; we should have read the House Rules before check in! Because we didn’t, we ended up in the wrong house where the keys didn’t work, so we climbed in a window, only to subsequently learn that someone else lived there! So DO read the House Rules before arrival. Our only suggestion…the cottage is not as well stocked as other AirBnB’s where we have stayed. AirBnB should have a minimum level expect

Lucas apartment is fantastically located with a wonderful view over the picturesque Lake Orta. In a few minutes by car or in a good 20-minute walk you can reach Pella, a pretty harbor town with great restaurants and starting point for boat trips to the island of San Giulio and Orta as well as other destinations. We did beautiful hikes on the lake shore and after the Madonna del Sasso church towering above Pella on a rocky church. Two day trips to Milan and the large weekly market in Luino am Langensee were also very rewarding. We had a wonderful week and highly recommend Lucas's place.

We spent a week in Roberto's apartment. The apartment was very clean and stylishly furnished. Everything you need is available, even a washing machine in the bathroom. Nothing was missing. On the terrace, there is also a seating area with a parasol. From the apartment, you can reach the lake in 1 minute with a public sunbathing area and swimming facilities. Roberto was super hospitable and was always approachable. In summary, it was a perfect vacation from start to finish, in the apartment you felt at home :)

Very kind and helpful host, he welcomed us warmly, showed us the surroundings of the lake explaining the private areas and the equipment available, then sent us a list of bars and restaurants in the area by email. There is a convenient private parking space just a few steps from the apartment. We had a great time and will definitely be back
