I can say enough about his beautiful Airbnb. My husband and I stayed for four nights, and Alistair and Maria were the most gracious hosts. From start to finish we felt welcomed and cared for, and the cottage itself - not to mention the grounds - was simply gorgeous. Nestled in the little town of Macciano, the cottage has great proximity to so many beautiful towns, attractions, and restaurants. We took multiple little day trips and were able to cover a lot of ground, and still be home in time for a dip in the pool and a glass of Prosecco with our charming hosts. Maria even offered to cook with me one night, and I had the opportunity to learn about the local fare, all lovingly made from scratch by Maria. This is a very, very special place filled with beauty and tranquility. We can't wait to go back!!

Ideal place to spend a we out of the chaos! We have easily visited Castiglion del Lago, Montepulciano and Città della Pieve. Kind and helpful owners. Clean apartment, small but well-kept bathroom, nice view of Lake Montepulciano. There is a kitchenette hidden in a closet, useful for those who want to spend time in the structure. Only attention: there are no pastry bars nearby and therefore, if you want to have breakfast when you wake up you need to buy milk, cookies, etc. before arrival! Comfortable bed and sleep peacefully. We recommend it!

Thoroughly enjoyed bbq-ing at the picnic table in the private garden with view of Montelpuciano Lake and striking ever-changing color sunsets, while our dog happily pranced on the daisy covered grass. The place was better in person than in the website photos, clean and very cozy. It has complete kitchen utensils, a cabinet full of variety of wine glasses, and nice the pellet fireplace. We appreciate Susi's generosity and attention to details. We were welcomed with a bottle of wine, a bouquet of fresh flowers, and olive oil from her garden. She was quick in responding and provided good info for nearby attractions. Susi is so cheerful and caring. This made our 17 day stay there a warm and wonderful experience. And oh... our dog loooovvvveees her too. Surrounded by beautiful nature, it is a great romantic place for quiet and relaxation.
