House holiday rentals in Lagoa

The accommodation is a bit off the beaten track and is rather quiet. A rental car is highly recommended. The interior was very clean and well equipped, at first we only missed grill tools and a pizza pusher for the pizza oven in the outdoor area. After a short inquiry, however, the manager promptly placed new grill tools in the kitchen on the same day. Outside, the sun loungers are a bit outdated and not quite clean anymore, and the table incl. benches is also not the most comfortable way to enjoy the beautiful evenings and nights under the open sky. But all this is whining at a very high level - we felt very comfortable in the villa with 10 people and had a great time in the villa. We did not use the very well-equipped interior (billiards, kicker) due to the beautiful weather, but here you can certainly spend a great holiday, even if it is colder.

The property is excellent and is exactly and more as advertised. Perfect for a relaxing holiday with a 5 minute walk to the beach and Ferragudo town square which has lovely restaurants. The team at Cool are fantastic and could not do more for their guests. They were in contact before getting to Portugal and very proactive throughout our stay. A lovely team🙏

great location, can walk to the beautiful cliffs and local beaches in 15mins and even to Algar Seco or Carvoeiro in under an hour or get Ubers easily for around €5. Several lovely restaurants in 5- 10 mins walk. €45 in an Uber from Faro airport. Villa is lovely, pool great, showers excellent and beds very comfy, kitchen well equipped with utensils etc. Ursula lives next door and has windows that face and overlook the pool but she had blinds closed and gave us privacy all the time. She always messaged and knocked on the front door if she needed to speak to us. she was really responsive to a couple of little queries we had. There is a little supermarket less than 10 mins walk away that is open til 9.30pm so we could get basic food even with an evening arrival. This was a fantastic peaceful location away from the tourist town but within easy reach when you want that. Ursula and the villa are great. We will definitely be back to the Algarve. Lovely villa, spacious, great pool. Lots of different areas for shade/sun. House stocked with items like towels, coffee/tea, dishwasher tablets etc. The host was very accommodating too providing recommendations for restaurants

We really enjoyed our stay here, it’s peaceful and private with everything you could need. Plenty of places to go and see, local supermarkets which is very handy. Loved it so much we’ve already booked to return in the next school holidays ☀️🕶️🍹

Absolutely amazing stay at Praia de Marinha for our multigenerational family holiday of 12 people. The house and facilities were just as described, had everything we needed. Pool was fantastic and cooked a couple of BBQs outside. The oven is older and a bit temperamental with only 2 of the 4 hobs working but we managed it. We arranged transfers via mini bus from the airport (Faro) and hired a small car which was fantastic for popping out to get groceries every few days. The mini van couldn’t get down the bumpy dirt road so did need to carry our cases to the house from the Praia de Marinha carpark which was ok for us but some might struggle. All amenities were clean and tidy, the beds were slightly hard but I guess that’s personal preference. Remember to take bottles water and loo roll with you as you shouldn’t drink the water and was none in the house, also only 2 toilet rolls in the house for 3 toilets - thankfully we could get to the shops with our hire car. All in all, 5 stars!

We absolutely loved our stay at Floris's villa! It was our first time travelling with our son who was 11 months and it couldnt have been more perfect. The pool is completely gated off whilst also feeling like its still part of the house. There was a baby bath and even a stroller provided as well as lots of toys. The bedrooms had blackout shutters which kept it very cool inside and everything was very clean and comfy. We loved using the bbq for our dinners and the garden got the sun from first thing in the morning until late in the evening. The town is walking distance which was ideal for morning walks and popping in for drinks or meals. During our stay, our son needed to see a doctor. Even though it was a Sunday evening, when I rang Floris they immediately put us in touch with an out of hours doctor who did house calls and came round within 20 minutes. We couldnt be more grateful for this service and Floris's help. Definitely want to stay again! Thank you!

John and Sarah were incredible hosts, very helpful, friendly and their recommendations in the guidebook were excellent - thank you both so much. We had the most fantastic time and would love to come back again soon!

a beautiful place to stay! the apartment is amazing, super clean and with everything you need. Unfortunately during our stay we had loud noises due to a construction next to the house all day. anyway we had a wonderful stay!

The accommodation was easy to find, thanks to the host's instructions, with a separate entrance, via the terrace. After consultation with Carla, I was also able to park earlier in the accommodation and the rental car directly in front of the door. The place is clean and has everything you need. The terrace is secluded from the outside, so you really have your privacy, although the accommodation is in a (quiet) residential area. Communication with Carla was very pleasant and she always responded quickly. In addition, there were restaurant tips for the area.

We had an incredible stay at Casa Tembo! The property is absolutely beautiful - peaceful, thoughtfully designed, and it was the perfect place to relax and unwind. Our host was wonderfully understanding and kind, going above and beyond to make our stay comfortable. We couldn’t have asked for a better experience!

Luisa is an excellent host. She responds quickly to enquiries, has described her house accurately and is warm in dealing with her guests. We enjoyed the house and the garden for five nights. We were able to eat on the patio all the time and enjoyed a couple of BBQ evenings. Our group was five adults.

Lovely place to recharge. The silence, view and also the dogs present a very welcoming and calm environment. Perfect for who wants to rest a bit. Sadly the weather wasn't the best, so we couldn't take advantage of the pool.

Beautiful house, with everything necessary for a relaxing holiday. The kitchen is well equipped and the beds comfortable. The location is quiet and the beach can be reached in 10 minutes on foot. We felt very comfortable. Martine gave us many helpful tips for things to do as well as good references to restaurants in the nearby area and was always quickly available for queries. We definitely recommend Casa de Martine.

I stayed in Studio 7 for just a couple nights at the tail end of a two week trip- but have it on the wishlist to return! What I loved about this place was it had the feel of an airbnb, but merged with a bit of the feel of a hotel. It was spotless, beautiful pool and rooftop areas, and the balcony was LOVELY. Parking for my rental car was super easy! minutes walk to the beaches but close enough to drive to some other destinations. I did Uber out of old town one night. it cost just 5E, but was only about a 20 min walk. plenty of space for a solo traveler in a beautiful, bright updated room. Esther was friendly and helpful! Great stay!

We had a fantastic stay! The pool, terrace, and location were absolutely phenomenal– ideal for relaxing and enjoying our time. The house was clean, well-equipped, and exactly as described. Communication with the host was friendly, fast, and easy. We felt completely at home and would definitely love to come back!

One of the best apartments I’ve stayed in! Clean, organized, newly renovated, and absolutely worth the price. The apartment is located in a small and quiet town full of things to do, just a 30-minute drive from major cities in the area. The hosts really paid attention to the little details – from a welcome book and a special towel for makeup removal to a beautiful lemon tree in the yard. There’s also a balcony on the third floor that gives you a safe and pleasant outdoor experience. Highly recommended!

the stay was very good. Beautiful quiet area within walking distance of the sea. Close to supermarket. Everything in the accommodation was clean and well arranged. Nothing else to criticize. Very definitely worth repeating. Was not the first time with the Albufeira Concerge and certainly not the last. until next time René recommended

The description of the villa we felt was accurate. The host, Miguel was very helpfully answering our pre arrival questions & arranging transport from the airport.!t was a great place to stay (we were 6 adults plus a 9 month old), cot & highchair provided . The beds were comfortable, bathrooms were as expected with plenty of towels & the kitchen was fully equipped. We very much enjoyed the pool & pool table on site. The location suited us well just a 15 minute walk from the beach & town All in all a great holiday stay.

This apartment completely exceeded our expectations. It was much more spacious than anticipated, offering plenty of room to relax and enjoy our stay. The location was brilliant— Carvoeiro is a charming and picturesque town with a great atmosphere. We loved being close to excellent bakeries, restaurants, and bars, all within walking distance. One of the standout features was the terrace, which was a fantastic bonus and the perfect spot to unwind at any time of day. A couple of things to note: while the parking is convenient, the space is quite tight, so if you're hiring a car, opt for a smaller one. Also, there is no iron provided, so pack accordingly. Thank you for such a great stay and we will be returning for definite :)

The Villa was perfect and just what my family required for a lovely peaceful private stay. The pool was perfect, clean with plenty of space around the pool and garden. Supermarket 5 minutes walk away. I recommend if you require a peaceful, private and lovely stay this villa won't let you down. The host Victor is always available and very helpful with information on where to go and good restaurants. I wish we could of stayed longer.

We loved the location! If you rent a car it is very easy to explore the Algarve coast. The coastal town of Carvoeiro is 5 minutes away, this was one of our highlights; it is such a beautiful, local Portuguese beach town with stunning views of the cliffs. Another highlight was Silves. The host was very cordial and extremely keen to help with anything we needed. The house is lovely, with a welcoming, cosy feel. The bathroom is a little tight, however it is brand new and spotless. It was a perfect place for a family with a child like ourselves. The sofa bed is really easy to prepare. Note, the loft bedroom has no door, and the AC is on the bedroom level only. The pool is still closed before the summer, but the views from the pool are beautiful. We definitely plan to return next spring. Thank you so much Miguel for hosting us!
