Holiday rentals with a patio in Lagunitas-Forest Knolls

This was a repeat visit for us, our second in 2 months. The location is fantastic. We walk across the street to get coffee in the morning or dinner at night. Alison did a great job decorating the apartment and adding extra touches that make you feel like you're at home. The soaps, linens and towels are all high quality and add a luxurious touch.

Dana’s stay is a treat and she is a wonderful host! Nestled in the trees, this is the ultimate peaceful getaway. My husband and I were in the area visiting family and found ourselves looking forward to the serenity of this Airbnb. We only wish we had more time to relax and enjoy the view! We will absolutely book Dana’s place the next time we are visiting. Thank you, Dana for your kindness and recommendations!

Very clean, welcoming place. Alexander’s apartment was very comfortable for 3 adults, with well equipped kitchen and bathroom. Alexander answered my questions super promptly, he is a great host. We highly recommend his place.

Great spot. James was very responsive. There were nice touches everywhere. It felt like I was staying at a friend’s place.

The cozy casita was absolutely amazing. It was perfect for my weekend getaway. I had plans in emeryville it was very close. The details of the casita were well thought out. I felt the love that was put in. Would definitely stay again.

Upsides: Cute little place surrounded by trees and wildlife (cute deer dropped by daily) - walkable to downtown and mountain trails. Lovely window desk to get work done if needed, sunny deck with seating. Lots of outlets! Helpful, accommodating hosts. Possible downsides: 10 min hilly street and (narrow at points) trail to downtown - we like to hike so it was fine but if you're not a hiker, you'll want to ride/drive.

Hailey’s place was a beautiful and spacious. Our needs were exceeded as we were visiting with family and friends nearby and didn’t require a kitchen for our meals. The space and views from the deck are gorgeous! We will definitely stay again as long as we are not traveling with our elderly parents who require wheelchair accessibility. My family reported sleeping well and feeling very comfortable in Haley‘s space.

Linda’s Green Queen was beautiful with a mix of amazing antique furniture and modern conveniences. We had a great visit and it was so refreshing to come back each night to a beautiful and comforting place. The thoughtfulness in even the smallest details was noticeable and appreciated.

Beautiful home right in the middle of the dipsea trail stairs - go up the stairs to reach great hiking trails, down the stairs for great restaurants and shopping. Comfortable beds, clean and cozy home, responsive and friendly hosts. Be aware of the somewhat challenging parking - bring the small car. Absolutely worth it, we’d love to come back!

This is one of the best Airbnb's we've enjoyed so far. Scenic views, nearby beaches and redwood forest hikes were the highlight of our stay. This is a quiet and peaceful neighborhood. Our kids enjoyed wildlife sightings, Bolinas Beach within a 5-minute drive and the tide pools on Agate Beach. The home was perfect. We enjoyed our coffee from the patio with beautiful beach views, the hot tub to warm up and the kitchen that had everything we needed for cozy meals in. The beds were very comfortable and there was plenty of space for 4. The host was proactive with communication about how to arrive and nearby things to do. We're already planning our next visit!

We had a great stay at Caroline's Cottage while visiting our daughter that lives in the neighborhood. The Cottage is just like the pictures , very nicely decorated and not much clutter . Very comfortable beds with good linens , plenty of towels too . The kitchen is fully equipped to have meals at home if you so wish to do so. The house feels very peaceful and is very quiet , we loved that ! Caroline was a very friendly , responsive and helpful host . We did not encounter a single problem the whole time we stay there. We will definitely be back . Thank you , Caroline for hosting us.

Gorgeous view! Especially in the evening. Very clean, peaceful place. We came for my son’s wedding in San Francisco. Daniel’s place was perfect.

What an absolute pleasure to stay at Jewel on the Avenue!! The house is beautifully decorated and has everything you could want for a group get away. It’s also perfectly located near downtown. We were initially using San Anselmo as a home base to visit a couple places around the area but we ended up spending a good amount of time downtown. San Anselmo is so lovely!! My two grown children and I enjoyed staying in Helen’s cozy 1 bedroom. She set up an extra mattress to accommodate us. Gorgeous location with lovely view, fresh rose bouquets in the house and lots of roses in the garden, comfortable deck out back, great hiking nearby. Helen was kind to let us use her cooking oil, butter, herbs, spices and condiments. Refrigerator had lots of room for our groceries. I highly recommend this quiet, beautiful place. We may be back again.

This was a perfect base camp for us for our two day stay in the Bay Area as we celebrated/attended our daughter’s graduation from USF. The home looked as pictured and was very clean and the beds were extremely comfortable. The neighborhood was so cute and we loved keeping the windows open and just feeling the night breeze and felt perfectly safe to do so. The neighborhood was walkable and we found some great wats in the area too.

We had a great stay at this Airbnb! The place was immaculately clean upon arrival, which we really appreciated. The host was fantastic—friendly, responsive, and very accommodating, making sure we had everything we needed. The location is also a huge plus—just two blocks from a beautiful park, perfect for a morning stroll or some fresh air. One thing to note is that this unit is on the third floor, which was fine for us but did come with some challenges. We have two small children, and it was difficult at times to keep them quiet for the tenants below. If you’re traveling with little ones, just be mindful that noise can carry. Also, the WiFi was not working during our stay, which was a bit inconvenient, but hopefully, that was just a temporary issue. Overall, a great stay in a well-kept space with a wonderful host. Would definitely recommend!

The place looks exactly like the pictures the owner is shown. It is very convenient to go to the popular wineries. They are all about 15-20 minutes away.

Great place to stay while visiting the East Bay. Beautiful neighborhood: quiet, safe, and easily walkable to a variety of restaurants/shops. Very convenient for public transportation or driving as well. The apartment is spacious for a couple, much more room than you’d have in a basic hotel room. Loren was proactive in sending check-in instructions and provided a thorough guidebook both for the place itself and the surrounding area. No complaints!

Perfect place to stay in Alameda with young kids! Kimberly’s condo had a pack and play, highchair, and even toys for my young children to play with. The walk in closet was a great space to put the pack and play to add some separation for nap and overnight sleep. Would definitely stay here again.
