Very spacious and comfortable home for a larger group getaway! The yard and beach were also heavily used, and cozy from a children's perspective. The owners were helpful and quick to reach.

Lovely house and great host. Everything needed for a nice family stay. Kimmo and family were very helpful with our check in and out process. The house is spacious and sits in a calm and safe environment. Easy access to public transportation and a shopping center. Lovely patio and garden to enjoy in summer time. All and all a place worth staying at 😊

This place was just what we needed - a perfect respite in the middle of nature. The cottage was like straight out of a fairy tale: beautifully decorated, full of thoughtful details and a wonderful atmosphere. Soft saunas, silence and sweet dreams made me feel peaceful. The forest pond and evening bath in the tub crowned the day - steaming water under the stars, surrounded only by the sounds of the forest. It felt like time had stopped. And the hosts' own pancakes - a warm gesture that made me feel truly welcome. A heartfelt place where you want to return again.

A wonderful, peaceful place to spend Midsummer. Beaches for both swimming and fishing right next door, a wonderful wooden sauna, your own peace and quiet and beautiful surroundings. The place was even better and more homely than the pictures showed. Good bedding to sleep in. Friendly and pleasant host with whom communication is straightforward. Such a beautiful spot to spend a few days in Lahti, which is also a very beautiful place too! This was the perfect place for us to stay, we came to Lahti for a long gravel bike race and the house was comfortable and relaxing and had everything we could have wanted, including a hot tub to rest our weary bodies after a long day on gravel trails. Highly recommend staying here to everyone who visits beautiful Lahti - in summer and in winter! Super clean, wonderful amenities, and what an amazing setting nestled into the forest.

We had a bachelor party at this accommodation, and the place was just right for that purpose! The warm atmosphere and decor of the accommodation created a good vibe. Karaoke equipment and the possibility of a pool were a big plus. Pia was very kind and helpful, which made the whole arrangement uncomplicated. We highly recommend this place especially for those traveling in a group – a wonderful experience!✨

We had a wonderful time at Lomakivi. The home is wonderful with lots of space and very clean. The area is beautiful, the lake nearby is crystal clear and great for swimming. We were in Finland for the Lahti Triathlon so only we’re here a short week but would love to come back sometime. Highly recommend this home for a family or a group of friends to stay!

Better than advertised! Beautiful home. Exceptionally clean and neat! The downstairs bathroom was amazing. We loved using the sauna. The outside space was a bonus. Full grill pizza oven and fire pit outside furniture and hammock JP was a wonderful host. He checked to make sure if there was anything we needed. His home is in a very quiet and peaceful neighborhood. We used electronic scooters to get around the city. The bottle of wine and local bread and eggs were a wonderful surprise. Ability to go up and down stairs is a must.

A cottage in a beautiful, quiet location. The sauna has a good steam and the bed was very comfortable. We found everything we needed in the cabin.

We also liked the private area near the lake , the pier , the new sauna, everything matches the description and the house is very comfortable . There is everything you need . We stayed at Mikas for an Ironman event. Mika was an excellent host, very proactive with communicating with us and offering assistance both prior to arrival and during our stay. The location was excellent for the race, access to town, and to the lake. Mika let us store our bikes in the garage, which was very handy. We felt at home and couldn't have asked for a better stay, accommodation, or host. Thank you Mika.
