Our tiny log cabin is a cozy getaway, close to hiking, mountain biking, and cross country skiing but only 10 miles from the amenities of Bend Oregon. It is a rustic place, with modern touches, like a gas range, refrigerator, and a gas fireplace. The bathroom is detached from the cabin - steps from the door. It is fully equipped with plumbing and a shower. Our place is perfect for people who love the outdoors with the comforts of home. No children under the age of 12 -- And alas, No Pets.

Steelhead Falls Log Cabin

Enjoy a restful time in our waterfront log cabin along the Deschutes River. Location is perfect for watching wildlife, fly fishing, quiet relaxation, and has easy access to hiking and rock climbing at Smith Rock and Lake Billy Chinook. Steelhead Falls is a a short hike away. Bend and Sisters are near. Unfortunately, we cannot accommodate even small weddings. We recommend access to AWD vehicle with either chains or snow tires in winter. Dog friendly- sorry, no cats.

The Miradero Cabin is our family's A-frame at Black Butte Ranch, built for the kind of trip where the kids run to the pool while the adults sit on the deck with coffee. Sleeps 8 across two queen bedrooms, a twin loft, and a trundle in the family room. Ranch access is included in your stay: six pools (Paulina is a 5-minute walk), hot tubs, two golf courses, pickleball, horseback riding, and miles of trails. Hoodoo skiing is 20 minutes away in winter.
