Holiday rentals with a fireplace in Lake Brienz

This place is amazing. The property is big with all the amenities and a great garden. The 3 bathrooms make the stay very convenient. It is located very close to the lake and lucerne city center. The owner, Giuseppe, is friendly, provided all needed instructions and set up the cot for us. There is also one parking spot available. Definitely a great stay in Lucerne.

Wir hatten einen tollen Aufenthalt in dem super schönen, gemütlichen und gepflegtem Berghäuschen. Tolle Aussicht, sehr ordentlich. Der Kamin war definitiv das Highlight. Wir haben absolut nichts zu beanstanden. Danke für die gute Kommunikation. Wir kommen jederzeit gerne wieder und können Aldo wärmstens weiter empfehlen. Bis zum nächsten Mal !

My family and I enjoyed our stay here. Stephen was very responsive and was quick to help us with a family emergency that we had. The accomodations of the home was exactly as desribed. The washer, dryer and all of the amenities were easy to use. We enjoyed how quiet the neighborhood was while still being close to restaurants and grocery stores nearby. The beds were very comfortable. Highly recommend this place. Stephen was an excellent host.

Yvonne communicated with us often. Carmen met us at the house and explained everything about the house and area to us. We absolutely loved the house on 3 levels and amazing views from all 3 levels. The spa tub, sauna, and cold plunge were the icing on the cake. There is so much to do in Vitznau/Mt Rigi Spa/Ferry around the lake, and so much more. We will stay here again, soon!

Wir haben den Aufenthalt sehr genossen! Gandria ist ein malerisches, kleines Dorf und trotz der ruhigen, beschaulichen Lage gibt es mehrere Restaurants und Kaffees, wo man einkehren kann. Die Wohnung von Louise wurde mit viel Bedacht gestaltet und hat alles, was man für ein paar erholsame Tage braucht.

Wir hatten einen wundervollen Aufenthalt bei Bernard und Franziska! Die Unterkunft liegt in einer idyllischen Landschaft, ideal für ein paar Tage Entspannung.

I want to first Thank you Anouk for being a great host. I don’t have the words to describe the place it is more like a piece of Heaven with the stunning view on the lake. We felt right at home from the start. The chalet was spotless clean with everything you need or think might need. We really enjoyed every single detail of it. Fabulous apartment and location for exploring the area, which is stunning. There were lots of lovely touches like Nespresso pods, wine & chocolate. The terrace in the afternoon sun is delightful!

We had such a great time here! While Zermatt was pretty busy, Nathalie’s place was very quiet with amazing views on the Matterhorn! Would definitely recommend. It’s a bit of a steep walk up, but we brought backpacks instead of suitcases.

Hanna and Ernst where the perfect hosts. They were there to greet us and there to farewell us. When we arrived, there were little Lindt chocolates and fruit for us to have and Hanna also gave us a sample of her homemade rhubarb cake. The scenery from the windows was breathtaking and they also had an outdoor area for us to use. Anything you need to know about the area, they were able to help. Thank you for having us in your home.

We absolutely loved our stay! The location right by the Rigi Cog station made it easy to get up and down the mountain. The wood-fired hot tub made for a perfect spot to soak up the view each evening. Our hosts provided wonderful information prior-to and during our stay. Highly recommend!

Die Unterkunft von Simon überzeugt mit dem großen Panoramafenster im Wohnzimmer wovon man einen außergewöhnlichen Blick über den Lago hat. Die Unterkunft ist sehr liebevoll eingerichtet und verfügt über alles was man benötigt. Simon ist immer gut erreichbar und hat uns zur Begrüßung mit Wein und Käse empfangen. Man hat ein kleines Stück über einen unbefestigten Weg und eine Treppe zu laufen um am Haus anzukommen, dafür ist man jedoch abseits der Straße und es ist ruhig. Wir kommen gerne wieder :)

My only regret is that we can’t give 6 stars on the evaluation and that since we want to come back it hurts me to advertise it to others!! Frankly, a part from the place which is a little jewel, the calmness of the surroundings, the spectacular lake Como, what we appreciated the most is the kindness and proactivity of our hosts. We had a beautiful stay at the house, it’s very quiet, has a wonderful setting and is well equipped. Stuart was very responsive and forthcoming. You do need a car for getting around for shopping and visiting nearby attractions, and the traffic can get dense during rushhour. This house is highly recommended if you want to spend some beautiful days at and on the lake Geneva.

Die Unterkunft ist das oberste Haus in der wunderschönen Ortschaft Brè und liegt direkt am Waldrand. Das Haus ist gemütlich und mit allen Notwendigkeiten ausgestattet. Von der Terrasse und dem grossen Garten hat man einen grandiosen Blick auf Brè, den Monte Brè, den San Salvatore, den Lago di Lugano und die umliegenden Hügel. Es ist der perfekte Rückzugsort, wenn man seine Ruhe haben und schnell in das umliegende Wandergebiet eintauchen möchte (da es direkt vor der Tür beginnt). Die Kommunikation mit Matteo war direkt und problemlos. Wir kommen gerne wieder!!

View from the house is lovely. That's the main plus. Bunk beds (for 3rd and 4th person) a little cramped, the main minus. otherwise a beautiful house with a private area outside to sit and enjoy there breathtaking view.
