I booked this home for my parents, and they had a truly enjoyable stay. They especially loved the beautiful yard—it was a perfect spot for relaxing and doing their morning exercises. The kitchen was thoughtfully stocked with all the essentials, making it easy for them to cook during their visit. The overall experience was smooth and welcoming. I would gladly recommend this place to others.

I was looking for a safe, affordable weekend spot near the ocean where my dog Luna could swim—and nearly gave up. Then I found Milt’s place in the Oakland Hills. A Superhost? All 5-star reviews? At that price? Yes, please. The space is peaceful, private, and full of character—birds in the morning, hens in the backyard, and Milt himself: a kind, responsive host (and a fantastic cook—if you get the chance to share breakfast on a weekend, don’t pass it up 😉). The bed is firm and comfy, and the outdoor lighting is thoughtfully placed—great for nighttime potty breaks (for the pup)! The neighborhood is warm and welcoming. Location-wise, it’s got EZ freeway access, nearby hikes, and it’s a quick drive to Jack London Square for patios, markets, and a breezy stroll. We made it to Ocean Beach for a swim, and back at Milts place, Luna and I were invited to a local block (college graduation) party and treated like old friends. We left feeling safe, rested and just plain spoiled. Book it!
