Just what we needed to relax and enjoy with the family! the lake is beautiful, we really enjoyed the canoeing and kayaks. even the big yard and the view are awesome. only one thing, the sofa bed was not very comfy to sleep. but, everything else was perfect to enjoy. thanks Ash/Nic for being a good host and friendly ppl.

Pauline was the perfect host. Staying at her property was like being at a home away from home. The property felt secluded, comfortable, and so relaxing. My family and I wished we could have stayed longer. Pauline was a thoughtful host— there was nothing we could have wanted for because she thought of everything. Check-in was smooth and private, the place was very clean & comfortable, and Pauline was always responsive if we needed anything.

Ed’s place is cozy, peaceful, and had everything we needed for the perfect long weekend getaway by the river/lake. Every space we used and spent time at, both indoors and outdoors (yard, patio, dock), was beautiful, clean, and spotless. The kitchen is nice and big, and there was lots of space for cooking and relaxing in the evening. The outdoor areas were super well-maintained. Amenities were also 10/10! We enjoyed hanging out on the dock, kayaking, fishing, and even learning how to bbq a steak for the first time on the grill! ☺️ Wish we had more time at the cottage to make a bonfire, maybe next time! Ed was an amazing host. He went out of his way to make sure we felt at home and was very responsive to all inquiries and requests. Thank you so much, Ed.

The place was perfect for what we needed. I would say another couch for the size of place would be helpful. We had 5 adults in our group and had to sit on the kitchen chairs. The keypad was finicky to put the code in perhaps better instruction on that but otherwise it was exactly what we needed. The host was great, responsive and very friendly.

My family of 4 had a wonderful stay this past weekend. I booked it as a surprise Father's Day weekend trip and it was lovely. Beautiful setting and stay, plus only a 10 minute drive to downtown Orillia, which is where we spent the day. In depth instructions too. The loft bed was comfortable and there were extra blankets aplenty (which we needed the first night!). The dome stayed cool and was such a great place for my 5 and 1 1/2 year olds. The fire pit outside was frequently used. We did use almost a can of bug spray in 2 days, and fought off a few large spiders, but luckily the hosts provided several bottles extra so we would've been fine. It's just how it is up North! One thing to note is we did have issues with the wood stove and getting it to vent the smoke properly. There is a youtube video in the online instructions, but it isn't for the specific model (still great to have!). It could've been user error, but something to note. Overall, 9.8/10 and a resounding recommendation!

My family and I had a great time at Adam’s cottage! Incredible view of the lake, the lake water was crystal-clear. Beach house was well maintained and very clean, the interior decor was stunning! Beach house/garage had all the amenities you will need! The 2 paddle boards and 2 bikes were a great edition! we enjoyed walks/bike rides through the trails in the neighbourhood. We will definitely come back, HIGHLY recommend! Adam was very helpful, insightful, and gave fast replies! Great host!
