Relax at this peaceful place to stay in the Western Lake District. There are plenty of lovely walks from the doorstep. The King George pub is only a minute walk away, serving lovely home cooked food and real ale. The Ravenglass and Eskdale Railway, known locally as “La’al Ratty” is only a ten minute walk from the cottage. Eskdale Stores is open daily. The cottage itself has been recently renovated and has a secure garden with lovely views, ideal dogs.

Surrounded by rolling fells and winding valleys you will feel truly relaxed after visiting Hartley’s Huts. The lodge is well kit out with an en suite bedroom in one half and kitchen/living area in the other half. The living area boasts a log burner which creates a cosy atmosphere whatever the season.
