What an incredible stay we had. our family lovely this place and would reccomend to anyone!

We had a lovely stay at Brigitte and John’s cabin. The house was warm and clean. I especially appreciate the warm bathroom in this winter. We also saw kangaroos and hot air balloons over the breathtaking Yarra Valley. Brigitte and John were warm and welcoming. The little touches like the fig roll ups and chocolate cake that she baked made the kids’ day. The location was quiet but near to everything. Woolworths was 4 mins away by car. Would love to stay here again if we get the chance.

We had a wonderful stay at Sarah and Matt’s beautiful cottage near the Yarra Valley. Even though it was raining during our visit, the stunning views from the cottage more than made up for it — it was the perfect escape from the hustle and bustle of city life. The cottage was cosy, peaceful, and had everything we needed for a comfortable stay — a clean bathroom, washer and dryer, Netflix, and even a Nespresso machine for our morning coffee. Sarah was incredibly friendly and welcoming. A special highlight for my son was getting to meet their adorable family pony, Little Penny — such a sweet touch that made our stay even more memorable. We truly appreciated the tranquility of the surroundings and would highly recommend this lovely spot to anyone looking for a peaceful getaway. Thank you for the lovely stay!

I can’t say enough great things about this place. It is a slice of peaceful paradise. There is so much land you can walk around on and the views are amazing! If you love animals, this is the place for you. Cows, geese, a turkey, bull, sheep, even a pony and more. The dog Max was the cherry on top of a perfect trip. He’s the sweetest boy and you’ll fall in love with him! Tab and Terry are great hosts, very responsive and easy to chat too.

We would give 6 (or more) stars if we could! Absolutely gorgeous scenery, comfortable cottage, and truly amazing hospitality. We are so thankful to Felicity and Don for putting together such a beautiful farm and sharing that with their guests. We are international visitors, so it was also fun to see kangaroos and wombats in the wild. It’s off the beaten track for sure, but that just adds to the charm. We enjoyed everything, especially the farm tour and history, the walk along the stream, and cooking over an open fire under perfect stars. Would fully endorse for anyone looking for a country getaway.

We had a wonderful stay at Jan’s place. It was the perfect place for a cold winter weekend. We loved the fireplace and the bbq. It was shame that it rained the whole time, otherwise we would’ve used the fire pit too. The cottage had everything we needed to cook our meals. The bed was very comfortable. The place had a small secure dog pen where my dog could be off leash. There were also towels and bowls for dogs. Jan was very understanding with my reactive dog, she is super friendly and we will definitely be back in future! Thank you again for a lovely weekend. From Lou, Wayne and Kobi

What a gem! Cosy, comfortable and clean. Great location as a base to explore nearby. Vickie and Ed were fabulous hosts. The kids adored the goats! Thanks Vickie and Ed for being such wonderful hosts and having us.

Whether you want a base to explore the mountains or the wine country, or just a nice quiet place to relax, this is it. Marly even provided the fire wood for the large outside fire pit around comfortable seating. You can walk to the fence and say gooda to her lovely two horses or give the two affectionate dogs a pat. The dogs are not allowed to invade your private space though. The house was truly comfortable, slept like a log in the bed, and very quiet. Aircon in the kitchen / dining lounge area for those warm days and gas central floor heating for those chilly nights. Marly is an exceptional host who will offer any advice, or if not you'll be left alone to enjoy the peace and quiet. We'll definately be back if in the area.

Thank you Kat & Angus for having us over our long weekend. We loved the cosy studio with homemade items and treats. It was lovely to get acquainted with the farm animals. We would highly recommend this stay to others and would love return some time!

We stayed six nights at Bogaroo Cottage and loved every minute! Such a cozy, comfy, quiet and clean cottage. We toured the area, visiting great wineries and quaint country towns. We clocked up a few miles but Bogaroo was a great place from which to launch our daily explorations, and such a welcoming homely place to come home to each evening. The cottage was equipped with all the things we needed to heat up our pre-prepared meals. Sarah was a great host; easy to communicate with and we knew she was there if we needed anything at all. Sarah even gave us a heads up about the best place on the property to view the Australis Borealis (Southern Lights) event happening one evening during our stay. If we revisit the area we’ll definitely love to stay at Sarah’s cottage.

Helen and Craig are both very lovely hosts. They provided clear instructions to the property and offered great local recommendations. The house was spotlessly clean and smelled like a brand-new home. The bed was super comfy, and the place had everything needed for a comfortable stay. They also ensure we were warm enough, which was much appreciated during the cold weather. I would definitely return when visiting Mt Buller or Mansfield!

This place is magnificent and magical. All the things are so comfortable. We tried and made wood oven pizza for the first time. All necessities were there. Unlimited wood and things to make pizza !!!! Very comfortable beautiful place.

It was a brilliant stay! The house is much better than in photos and our expectations. Everything was very well equipped, very tastefully decorated and very well thought out. The surrounding area is very beautiful as well, we enjoyed having the horses in our backyard. We highly recommend this place for anyone looking for a peaceful, serene and magical escape.

We had a lovely stay at Wairere Rest. The outdoor bath was a real highlight. It was the perfect cosy winter getaway, with such beautiful surroundings. The bed was also so comfy! Thank you :)

We had such a wonderful stay at Two Rivers Lodge in Acheron. So quiet, peaceful, homely and relaxing. The property was beautiful inside and out. I think I found my happy place here. My family and I will definitely be returning.

The house & unit suited us perfectly (6 adults & 4 young children). There was lots of room both indoors & out for the kids (they made great use of the swings/slide). Plus a lovely big table for us all to eat at & great for group board/card games. The extra unit was very a lovely, quiet retreat if needed. The hosts were super responsive whenever I contacted them & when we had an issue (they came to sort it out immediately). Many thanks for contacting me immediately about an item left behind! The added extras of games for all ages, chopped wood for outdoor fire-pit, good supply of basic things (like oil, spices, salt & pepper, dishwasher pods, toilet paper) was great. Amazing views in all directions!

Fran was amazing and friendly. The right entertainment was provided for our kids. Also had perfect recommendations for the winery on the property. We had a great time during our stay.

My husband, myself and our 4 adult children stayed at Lavender Farm. When first arriving we were greeted by their friendly dogs. Jacky had made a delicious cake and fresh bread plus farm fresh eggs and bacon ready for breakfast the next morning. It made us feel right at home. The farm is beautiful as is the accommodation. Tony (the host) was very friendly and helpful. The town itself has everything you need. Healesville is a lovely place to stay. I would highly recommend Lavender Farm.

We had the best stay at The Kingsley! Our family of 7 adults stayed to celebrate my Mum’s 60th Birthday. The house was very comfortable, warm & beautifully furnished. The layout was spacious & perfect for our family. We were spoilt with the underfloor heating in the bathrooms! On arrival we were treated with some breakfast goods & a bottle of Prosecco in the fridge, thoroughly enjoyed! The kitchen was very well equipped, including spices & cookbooks. The beds were comfortable & cosy. Outside, the grounds were very well kept, including a fire pit. Both the wood fire inside & the fire pit had everything needed to get them started. Thanks for a great stay!

Fantastic family stay. The kids had the best time running around and playing on the big grassy area. The views over the paddocks are stunning. The house was comfy and warm. We couldn’t fault our stay. So much room and so so peaceful.

Great location, easy access to some great wineries and a wonderful place to relax.

We stayed at hoddles creek air bnb for two nights for our 8 year anniversary. We absolutely loved it! The hosts were great, harley was very friendly, accommodation was wonderful and peaceful. It was so nice to be around nature, wildlife, being around the farm animals was wholesome too. Harley was a great guide around the property, he made us feel very welcome 🤗 Ushering us out at the gate and waiting for us to come back in. Our doggos loved having a friend patrolling near our place. Thank you for having us Marijke and Jon, the farm experience was awesome too! Cows are super friendly and used to people, the sheep were funny and sweet. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The fireplace was a highlight too. We will be coming back for sure.

Natalie’s house is in a great spot overlooking country side, great private place to relax at with everything you would need including a fantastic fire I would highly recommend if you want an escape from the the city or something on the outer of Melbourne
