Kid-friendly holiday rentals in Lake Erie

Stayed at Adam and Alicia's place for my son's graduation. It is relatively close to Case Western campus (20-25 min drive), but - unlike the area around CWRU - is very quiet and relaxing. We were out a lot during the day for various graduation festivities, but it was a nice spot for our family to come back to in the evening, cook dinner, and hang out. Even though it was rather windy, we we still made a point of getting outside to sit on the patio or stroll around and watch the lake - birds, boats, and a very nice sunset. The hosts were very responsive; we had a problem in the beginning (no towels), but it got fixed very quickly after contacting the hosts.

This was absolute relaxation heaven! Quiet, clean and right on the lake. We loved the sunsets, the morning coffee on the deck, and s’mores at the fire table. The beds were so comfortable and we had everything we needed and more!

I loved that Randi was very welcoming & attentive to our needs without being intrusive. Their place is charming & tastefully decorated. We enjoyed the time we spent there. The neighborhood is peaceful & walkable, which we loved. We were here for a family reunion in Kirtland, so we spent most of our time there & the location was perfect for that. I would highly recommend this place to anyone & I hope we can come again & explore more of the local area. It's really beautiful here. Thanks, Randi for your hospitality! ❤️

Jim was a great host! The place was exactly like the pictures. Beautiful view, we had everything we needed, everything was spotless and the beds were super comfy. Wish we could have stayed a little longer!! Kingsville it s cute town with lovely restaurants a nice shops!

LOVED this house! Someone with a degree in interior design must’ve been involved in the decorating bc it looked like something out of a magazine. And the view was absolutely stunning. Also, as a mom with small children, I loved how we were right on the water but high enough up from it that I didn’t have to worry about my kids walking into it while playing outside. I also loved the location of this house. We were right in between Ashtabula and Geneva on the Lake so it was a little more peaceful than being right in the middle of GOTL. My family preferred Ashtabula anyways as it had more of that quaint old town charm. The house also had great storage which may sound funny, but I love to unpack and really settle into the home. It seems like so many places don’t provide that anymore. Anyways, I would totally stay here again!

This was, by far, the best air bnb we have stayed at! Fully stocked with all the extras, beautifully clean! The view was gorgeous, sound of the water so peaceful! Thank you so much for your thoughtful preparations! We’re not able to use the kayaks, water was a bit rough and still cool! But, we had loads of fun! Would love to come again!

This was our second stay at this cottage and will not be our last. The location is perfect. The lake was beautiful on the day we left. The cottage was clean and bright. Farrah adds a personal touch that is welcoming. We like that since there is such a nice outdoor space to sit with coffee in the morning and a glass of wine in the evening, having no TV in the living space is a welcome change. We had our grandson with us and he didn't even miss it. We will definitely be staying again!

Roake was an amazing host. This was our 2nd time staying at the house in Findley Lake. Absolutely beautiful. The view is beautiful. The town is adorable. The beds are comfortable, plenty of room for everyone. We rented the pontoon boat and had a blast. We were able to bring our dog and spend quality time with him. Great place to bring your fur babies. This was a family vacation and we could have not asked for a better host or stay. We will be back. ❤️

We had a great stay at Frank & Zoltan’s! So many thoughtful touches & we really enjoyed the pool and location. Very walkable to the falls, Clifton hill, etc. It was a very nice stay & we loved having what was a calm and serene getaway from the hustle and bustle of Niagara Falls. The bottle of wine was a nice touch! We appreciated their hospitality. Great hosts, would recommend

Host Mama’s place was fabulous! The house had everything we needed and more. It’s in a perfect location close to everything. Host Mama was kind and went out of her way to make sure we were comfortable and enjoyed our stay. We’ll definitely be back!

I can’t say enough about this beautiful apartment. Addie provides everything you might have forgotten at home to make your stay enjoyable. She responds quickly to any emails The suite is located on a gorgeous peace of property with a few different options for guests to enjoy the view. Inside is a high quality large couch, great mattress, large shower and full kitchen. Addie has created a true retreat. Everything about our stay was top notch.

Great place. Super clean. Very convenient to Edgewater beach and great bars and restaurants. Would definitely come back.

We had a great stay at Chris and Dawn's condo. The space was clean, well equipped and just as described in the listing. The hosts were very responsive and quick to answer any questions we had. The view from the screened balcony was awesome. Highly recommended!

All great things, all great things! This was one of our favorites that we stayed so far and we've been in several at this location! Also, this was the first time we fished right there on the water, and it was great fun! Ross was very responsive on a couple quirky questions, nothing impactful, all great! Would stay, again.

I don’t even know where to begin!! I’d rate Chris and Jamie as a 10+ star as hosts and for their property!! Everything was absolutely amazing and Chris & Jamie went over and beyond what was expected! From offering flexibility with a late check to accommodate our needs, detailed check in and out instructions (videos were very helpful and funny too!), coffee/creamers provided and to top it off we were greeted with a personalized message with snacks (the kids loved this 🤪) wishing my daughter and her team good luck at their tournament!! Chris and Jamie were very quick to respond to any questions and provided excellent restaurant recommendations!! The Mario Place was absolutely beautiful inside and has an amazing view of Lake Erie and Cedar Point! Also, the property is within walking distance to several restaurants and entertainment!! Highly recommend renting this and/or any other properties from Chris and Jamie!!! We definitely will be back!!!

Michael was a great host and his place will be our new home away from home. It is the perfect getaway in every way imaginable. An amazing view of the lake!! We absolutely loved it and can’t wait until our next trip to Michael’s condo and GOTL.

We loved our stay in Sandusky! The view from the condo was absolutely amazing, and everything was very accessible to downtown. The condo itself was clean, well-maintained, and nicely decorated. We had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. We would definitely book again!

Tom is a great host…. very responsive and helpful. Condo is comfy and well located for all we planned. Sunroom overlooking lake is a gem. Our favorite eatery…. McCarthy’s Irish Pub within walking distance across the bridge. Wonderful menu and specials. Magee Marsh and other wildlife refuges along lake are spectacular!
