Holiday rentals with a fire pit in Lake Gaston

This place is a hidden gem! Beautiful, peaceful, and perfectly tucked away with an amazing view of the lake. It was the ideal spot to unwind after long workdays. Quiet, comfortable, and incredibly relaxing. The privacy and serene surroundings made it feel like a true escape. We were here for work but would come back in a heartbeat for a getaway. Highly recommend!

This house was perfect for our college girls reunion! We loved that there were so many full bathrooms for 11 of us to utilize. The view from the porch could not have been better, we enjoyed breakfast and coffee every morning on the swing and chairs. The kayaks were perfect for a little adventure on the water. The kitchen was fully stocked with everything we needed to cook our meals and we loved sitting down at the large dining room table together. Rebecca was so easy to communicate with and check in /out was a breeze. We would definitely return!

Our stay was great! The location is secluded and quiet which is exactly what we were looking for. He was so helpful to make sure the amenities were enough for all of the guests coming. The screened in patio was a little dirty and dusty but the house was great. It was so nice to stay in a place that had more than enough paper towels, toilet paper, dishwasher liquid, etc! Overall exactly what we were looking for in our Memorial Day trip!

Songbird Retreat was the perfect Easter retreat for our family of five. Wonderful fun home in an idyllic setting. Something for everyone. Especially loved the stunning backyard with steps straight to the water, use of kayaks, many places to sit and relax. Richard could not have been more accommodating. Highly recommend!

We had a great time. We wished the water access was a little different but we found some boat ramps and water access areas within a couple miles from the home so it worked out for us. The house was great and clean.

Amazing people!!! We had a mishap with grandchildren and caused damage. Robert was so kind and understanding and easy to work with to resolve the issue. The house was amazing with even better views. Very clean and well equipped. 10 out of 10 would recommend! Erin Moore

Brian was very accommodating! Quick response when an issue came up (electrical at the dock which was out of his control) and we were able to work together and get the lights back working. House was nice and cozy, clean, and well stocked with supplies. We loved all the games, puzzles and toys to keep little ones busy when inside, as well as, the playset outside was a hit. We stayed for 3 nights and caught about 25 fish. Our son, who turned 7 the day after we checked out caught his first catfish and it was a big one, he was over the moon with excitement!!!

Eduardo, We sincerely enjoyed your beautiful home. It was so peaceful, very relaxing and full of everything that anyone would need. The kitchen was fully stocked and we didn’t want for anything. We home cooked all of our meals and didn’t want to leave the house. The views of the lake are outstanding and so peaceful. Watching the morning steam rising off of the lake was mesmerizing and the sunrising were just as beautiful. Having a morning coffee on the porch watching the fish popping and rippling the water was just like a movie. We really enjoyed your beautifully decorated home. The beds were very comfortable and the ceiling fans made it great to sleep in. We will be back for Thanksgiving in less than a month!! As well as next June and we can’t wait to be back again. Been quite a few spots on Airnb. Catherine and Shawn are truly the best host I have experienced….and not even close. They enjoy sharing their slice of heaven to those who appreciate all it has to offer. Gorgeous property to get out and explore and take it all in .It’s a trip my son and I always look forward to.

This place was wonderful for us. Lots of room and decorated really nice. It was quiet and easy access. Scott couldn't have been more accomodating. Instructions were clear. Things labeled so you were not confused. Guide book of area if needed. Even left a treat for our dog! If, we are in area in future, would stay again. Our stay was awesome. Linda & David Gober

My family and I were absolutely blown away with this beautiful inviting cabin. There really was no stone left unturned. We enjoyed our stay and all the amenities that were offered including the games for the teenagers being able to sit at the fire pit and kick back roasting s’more’s, Morning view sitting on the front porch and the nook with the rocking chairs was perfect. We felt like we were at home away from home. Anyone would enjoy staying here and be very pleased with the hospitality provided.

Cozy, peaceful, idyllic, and serene escape. We loved it! Our dog loved it too; sorry that she barked at the horses constantly. We really enjoyed all the extra snacks too.!

Sarah’s home was the perfect place for a muchneeded rest and reset. The house was clean, well-equipped, and had all the amenities to make our stay comfortable. We especially enjoyed relaxing in the hot tub while taking in the beautiful lake view such a peaceful experience! Helpful tip for future guests: if you plan to spend time down at the dock, bring a snack and a few beverages with you, you’ll definitely feel the burn going up and down those stairs! Overall, a lovely stay and I’d definitely return.

We came in town for a graduation at H-SC and we were please to find this cabin; plenty of room for everyone plus our pups. It was nice to be in such a peaceful area after a day of "herding cats" for graduation. I highly recommend checking out the little town nearby. It has some nice restaurants and beautiful lake views.

Natalia's log home was wonderful. It was clean, and well appointed. The pier and boat were outstanding. I've never rented a house on a lake that has a private sand beach. Everything was perfect. I can't say enough about the experience. I highly recommend renting Natalia's log home on Lake Gaston.

We absolutely can’t wait to get back to this spot. We stayed in the screen house and it was amazing to watch the lightening bugs and hear the birds through the cabin. We were worried about the rain, then found ourselves hoping it would because the cabin would be perfect to hear it and stay dry while we slept! These hosts thought of everything and went above and beyond to make us feel like home and have everything we need. Very helpful and quick to answer questions as well!

My husband and I frequent the vineyard for events. Naturally, I jumped at the chance to stay there. We’ll definitely return. The serenity is second to none.
