Mark and Lisa are great people with a beautiful rustic cottage. felt very cozy as soon as you walked in if you are looking for a little piece of heaven this is the place to be. Would definitely recommend and we will go back next year. Michele

This spot is so beautiful! The bungalow was comfortable for my family. My adult son was able to sleep on the couch no problem - it converted to a bed. Every supply we needed was there and there is lots of closet and drawer space for long stays. We loved the view of the water and the outdoor spaces are thoughtful and well done. Two seating areas by the bungalow and also a fire pit and dock by the water. We are already planning to come back next year.

We had a fabulous stay at Lorry’s beachfront cottage. The views are phenomenal, and what makes this place so special. The place was extremely clean and new. Our toddler loved playing in the sand right outside the cottage, and we frequently walked to the sandbar to the left of the cottage where there was a perfect spot for him to splash in the shallow water. There are lots of great little ice cream places and food trucks near by. The cottage was VERY well stocked with everything you may need, and even a wonderful tea selection. Great new BBQ and appliances. Truly, a little slice of heaven.

It was comfy, clean, kitchen & bathroom were fully stocked. Kelly made sure everything was perfect! Even left s’mores stuff. We’ve stayed a lot of places on Lake Huron between AuGres & Harrisville and thought we would try a different part this year. The kids loved all the big water toys, so that was what drew us. We missed 2 bathrooms, washer/dryer, and seeing the kids on the beach. The house sat up high and you had to walk to the edge to see shoreline or take the stairs. We were glad we did a shorter stay because there wasn’t a whole lot to do after the museums and lighthouse in Port Huron. But Kelly had corn hole and lots of comfy outdoor chairs for reading. All in all it was a great place / super clean, didn’t care for all 3 outdoor cameras. We understood the one that looked out to the driveway/fire pit/main entrance. But one we could see from inside on the couch and also from the small table area / that whole side is doors & glass windows with no shades.

Very beautiful backyard with hot tub, sauna and fireplace. Had great afternoon grilling on patio. Spacious and comfortable seating in lounge and backyard. Look forward to visit again.

Terri and Theo are top-notch hosts—super friendly, responsive, and accommodating. The cottage is beautifully designed with thoughtful details throughout. Great layout, stylish decor, spotless, and fully stocked with everything you might need. The outdoor space is stunning! We had our own private area with a dining table, BBQ, lounge seating, and a gas fire pit. We were also welcome to use the rest of the patio, which included more seating and loungers—all incredibly clean and well-kept. It really is like a little resort! The pool is gorgeous and just steps from the back door. Prefer the beach? Just a few steps past the yard and your toes are in the sand! It’s so private and peaceful, you’d never guess you are only minutes from anything you could possibly need! Many thanks to Terri and Theo for the chance to experience this little slice of paradise—truly a gem!

Magnificent were these accommodations! Lots of unique personality went into the presentation of this exclusive escape! The huge window in the main suite was the main attraction during a massive lightning show over the bay!! 🤩 I will absolutely book here again with friends to really enjoy a vacation, as this spot is meant for. It was still more than perfect for this trip working at the airport 2 minutes down the road 🙌🏾 Hot tub - Awesome Shower - wicked awesome Bbq area - great for great big steaks next visit! Laundry - super advanced machine , took me a minute to figure out. Coffee all stocked up was clutch! Kitchen resources were unlimited !! Like wow! Bumper sticker : In Toronto, you couldn’t afford it, in wiarton you will seriously enjoy it!

We had a wonderful stay at Carol Ann’s. The space was perfect, and an easy walk to downtown. We loved the outdoor area of the yard where we could relax, and the indoor space was very comfortable and well appointed. We will definitely return if we’re back in the area, and recommend it to others!

Great place to stay. Guests are well provided for. Lots of extras provided and things to do. Host is responsive in answering questions. Nice clean place that was easy to access.

The house was very clean, cozy, and well located, which made our stay enjoyable. There are just a few important points to mention. First, there was no blender, even though the listing states that the kitchen is fully equipped. We relied on that description and expected all the basic appliances to be available, so this was a notable inconvenience. Another detail that felt a bit uncomfortable was being asked to wash the dishes and leave everything clean before checking out, especially since a cleaning fee is included in the cost. Considering the price, this should either be clearly stated upfront or not required. Also, in my opinion, the check-in and check-out times could be more flexible. Having check-in only after 4 PM and check-out by 10 AM takes away a significant part of the day, which limits how much you can truly enjoy the stay. Other than that, it was a good experience overall, and communication was always clear and responsive.

Steve and Deb were exceptional hosts. When I requested an early check-in to surprise friends for their birthdays, they were incredibly accommodating. The cottage offered a spacious backyard and plenty of room for relaxation and they let us bring our dogs! We were also grateful for the late check-out. I would highly recommend their cottage and would love to stay there again in the future!

We enjoyed the beautiful scenery and the bed was comfortable. The cottage was super clean. Jodi was very responsive and helpful! It does get a bit chilly at night on the cooler nights, so definitely bring some warm jammies for those evenings. It was so cozy and comfortable! It is a great rate and very close (within a 30-50 minute drive) to some beautiful caves and waterfalls.

My family and I adored Ruth’s place. It was perfect for our family of 4. Convenient location to both the beach and the town. The cottage itself is lovely, cozy and great backyard space for family games etc. Ruth was super responsive and friendly. We will definitely return to this little gem. Thank you for a wonderful stay!
