Cabin holiday rentals in Lake Michigan Beach

the home was great! comfy beds, hot tub was wonderful- a sky of stars was able to be seen from the tub. kitchen has the essentials for a meal at your temporary home. good location between sagatuk and south haven. would stay again

We enjoyed our stay at this cozy cabin in the woods! The hot tub was perfect to relax and enjoy the nature around. We seen several deer on the property. The house was accommodating and had all the basics. We appreciated the firewood as the days and nights were chilly and we love to cook on the fire. Communication with the owners was easy with quick responses.

This is cabin in the woods that is close to Lake Michigan And Bass Lake. It is everything that it is said to be. So much planning and thoughtfulness has gone into every aspect of this home. We had a wonderful stay. And hope to come again. The decking, fire pit area and the hot tub are immaculate! So much special care seen in all things.

My husband and I just spent a few nights here and it was wonderful! The space was very clean and the views of the river were amazing. Katie checked in to make sure that everything was as it should be and was very quick to respond. If we ever come up this way again we will definitely be back!

Our family loved the time we had at Todd’s cabin, it was exactly what we needed. The cabin is in a very peaceful, quiet setting. The beds were very comfortable, both adults and kids loved the jukebox and games, and being able to have a kitchen that was equipped with all the pots/utensils/things we needed was huge. It made cooking at the cabin for ourselves a breeze. Todd was a great communicator and we had no issues during our stay at all. Thanks again so much!

Cabin is off the rode makes it nice for those who want to get away. Matt a fellow fishermen a big plus . I would book again in a hart beat.

Truly an exceptional stay. Top tier hosts that have gone above and beyond to make the stay feel like home. Incredibly clean, no bugs. A really nice little house. Property is beautifully maintained. So relaxing. Wildlife everywhere. We loved all the turtles. The only negative would be the goose poop all over the yard, but that’s just wild life being wild (I would just pack footwear accordingly) Overall, we are super happy with our stay and hope to be back! Thanks for everything!

The cabin is charming, with practical and aesthetically appealing amenities and decoration. The private space both inside and out was calming and relaxing. We enjoyed birdwatching, dipping into the books on hand and walking through the woods.

Than & Lisa are amazing hosts. The cabin more than suits the needs for anyone looking to go off the grid and find all the peace and quiet that exists on the property and surrounding nature. Speaking of nature, it’s a stone throw from Manistee National Forest and the North Country Trail (Hiking trail running from Vermont to North Dakota) if you’re into that type of thing. If not, there is plenty to offer even the infrequent outdoorsy person something to gravitate to. Be mindful of the lack of internet (cellphone) service…but that’s the point right?!?!

We had a wonderful stay at this beautiful home tucked away in a peaceful rural setting. The house was full of charm and character, and the surrounding mature woods made it feel like a true escape. It's conveniently located near Three Oaks and New Buffalo, both of which offered plenty of great activities, dining, and local charm. Our dogs loved the space just as much as we did—especially the nearby dog beach! Highly recommend for anyone looking for a relaxing and pet-friendly getaway.

This was such an ideal place to celebrate our anniversary. The cabin is absolutely beautiful in a peaceful and private setting, which gave us permission to unplug and relax. We loved the sauna outside and enjoyed our meals in the shade of the surrounding trees. It’s already a really special place, and the hosts went above and beyond with amenities and details that elevated the experience beyond any other Airbnb we’ve ever stayed in. We will definitely return to create more memories and connect with each other in this quiet and lovely cabin. Absolutely perfect!

Great hideaway off the beaten path. 15 mins away from good food and activities. The cabin is very comfortable and the privacy and view is great.

Wonderful over night stay in this beautiful and comfortable cabin. The fire pit was our favorite part. The road to the state park was a bit noisy but it didn’t bother us. Would definitely recommend.

I had a wonderful stay at the cabin Airbnb! Beth, Brittany, and Matt were absolutely amazing hosts — super welcoming and helpful. The place was spotless and had such a refreshing vibe. One of my favorite touches was finding the fresh eggs in the fridge — chef’s kiss! The outdoor space was so peaceful, perfect for relaxing and unwinding. The goats, sheep, and cows added a nice farm charm without being a bother at all. I even made a new buddy with the farm dog, who stayed by my side while I enjoyed the fire at night. Truly a special experience — I’ll definitely be back!

This place was exactly what we needed for a weekend of rest and relaxation and catching up of old friends! Inside was cozy and calming. We enjoyed the outside deck for lunch and the table was spacious. While it may have not had a formal full kitchen, they had everything you could need utilizing small appliances and key basics (olive oil, seasonings, foil, etc). The bed was very comfortable and the sofa bed worked well. We enjoyed completing a puzzle that was in the dresser along with other games, toys, and coloring books! We didn’t use the TVs but appreciate that they were an option if the weather hadn’t been as good. WiFi worked great. The location is less than a mile to Hagar Beach which is a lovely, clean park/beach with steps down that we took advantage of on multiple days. We will definitely be back!

We had an absolutely wonderful stay at Yellow Door Lodge! The place is beautifully designed — cozy, stylish, and thoughtfully put together in every corner. It felt like a perfect home away from home. Rex was incredibly responsive and went out of his way to make our stay as comfortable as possible. His warm hospitality truly made a difference and added to the overall experience. Our dog, Puntu, had a great time too — it’s such a pet-friendly spot! He enjoyed exploring and relaxing just as much as we did. The lakeside area was a highlight. We spent some peaceful time there soaking in the view, and it added to the whole relaxing vibe of the trip. Highly recommend this place for anyone looking for a peaceful, well-designed getaway with great hosts!

Best Airbnb experience I’ve had. The cabin and surrounding area was beautiful and I plan on visiting again when I have the chance. The Hosts were exceptionally friendly and communicative which made for an amazing experience. I highly recommend kayaking the river behind the property as well!
