Cottage holiday rentals in Lake Michigan Beach

Very nice house on a beautiful lake Odessa. Look exactly like the pictures. Very peaceful place. Kids love it by the water and was able to fish all day. Would definitely consider going back.

The Oriole feels like you’re sitting in a treehouse on the porch. Lovely! The interior is quaint and clean. Thoughtfully appointed space with a place to hang a few items of clothing and a suitcase rack, but otherwise don’t bring unnecessary luggage because, as described, the space is small. The location is walkable to all restaurants and shops. We enjoyed exploring a bit on the bikes which are great amenities along with the hot tub included in the stay. Would definitely recommend!

The cottage was adorable. The living area was spacious and comfy. The kitchen was a little small, but we managed wonderfully. It’s in such a cute neighborhood as well and not too far from the beach. Hot tub was amazing!

Our stay was absolutely wonderful. The hosts were incredibly hospitable and flexible, making everything so easy and welcoming from start to finish. This home holds a lot of sentimental value for our family — we spent many years vacationing in this area growing up — and it meant so much to be able to return to the area and create new memories in such a beautiful, well-kept space. We couldn’t be more grateful and would highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a relaxing, meaningful getaway.

This cabin was perfect for our little getaway weekend. Very private and peaceful, but a close drive to town for eating and a some shopping. We rented bikes and hit the trails. Had the best smash burgers at Biebs and Ash and a great breakfast ar Angels House of Pancakes. The cabin was even better in person than the pictures show and it was decorated so cute. We enjoyed using the hot tub even though it was 90 degrees outside! The covered porch and breeze helped a ton. Melody was a great host and we would definitely like to go back in the fall.

5 stars! This Airbnb was truly amazing! The space was spotless, cozy, and beautifully decorated, and I absolutely loved all the individual touches the host added—it made the stay feel so personal and welcoming. They even had a helpful list with local restaurants, places to visit, and activities in the area, which made exploring so much easier and more fun. There were also tons of extras available in case we needed anything, which just shows how thoughtful and prepared the host was. While there was some city work happening during our stay (completely out of the host’s control), they still went above and beyond by bringing us a thoughtful thank-you gift for being understanding. That kind of kindness truly stood out. The host was incredibly responsive, friendly, and went the extra mile to make sure we had a great stay. We couldn’t have asked for a better experience and would absolutely stay here again. Highly recommend to anyone looking for a comfortable and welcoming place to stay

We originally booked a different cottage in Ludington….only to find out we accidentally booked it for the wrong date. We cancelled that reservation and booked this location instead. Host responded immediately- huge relief to us since we were already on our way to the area. Directions to the house were spot on, which made it easy to find. Even though this was a last minute reservation, the house was ready for us. Yes, the furniture is dated but that was fine with us. There is so much to do in the area that we were gone most of the time. However, we did spend some time at the house to do some fishing out on the lake- they have a boat and canoe onsite that we were able to take out. Our last night there, we sat out by the fire pit and stargazed while we fished. It was perfect! Communication with host couldn’t have been any better. They checked in with us to make sure all was going well and responded right away when I accidentally locked ourselves out of the house. Would stay again.

Phoebe's house was absolutely perfect for our stay! Our group had 7 adults and 3 children (including 1 baby) and everyone had plenty of space. The house was comfortable, nicely decorated, and super clean. We loved that the house had a ton of seating for big family dinners both inside and out. The neighborhood was quiet and private but still close to the nearby beach (about a 15 minute walk). The herds of cute deer roaming the neighborhood every day were so much fun to watch and added to the charm of the neighborhood! As a host, Phoebe was proactive in communication and very quick to respond any time I reached out. We would love to stay at this house again in the future!

Our family of eight and a dog had a wonderful time here! The home was very clean, nicely decorated, and stocked with everything we needed. There were oodles of games and toys for the children. The hosts made themselves available if we had any concerns(we didn’t). Since we love the New Buffalo area, I think we’ll be right back here again!

We stayed for a fishing trip and we had a great time! 4 adults slept comfortably and we had plenty of room to relax on the porch or inside with cold AC for the hot weekend we had on the lake. Great location with a great view. Terri and Roy were great hosts and helpful with anything we needed. Would highly recommend staying with them.

We really enjoyed our stay at John’s place. House was super clean and comfortable. Loved the outside porch set up as well as ability to dine outside in bark yard. We always enjoy this area as the hiking for our dog is amazing.

This is our second stay at the lake house with our 2 grandsons. We all had a blast fishing, kayaking and paddle boarding. The place is beautifully laid out and was very comfortable. Thanks Aaron for a great time. We will be back next year Gary Hardman

Review..... Host Annette was very accommodating and fast response. The home is a very quaint cottage with every amenity we needed. There are many water toys (peddle boat, kayak, paddle board) and life jackets. My grandchildren enjoyed fishing and swimming. But, the best part is the amazing view. Even saw a deer in the lake! This House is the perfect summer getaway for all Families! The toddlers absolutely loved the beach and the water and Brenda was extremely accommodating to them! The nature and bird watching were phenomenal. The perfect mix of peacefullness and fun to make for the perfect family Vacation for any Family, Thank You Brenda!!

This newly updated cabin was nestled on a private drive. The view from the backside of the house was breathtaking with a clean cove to dig your feet into the sand. Easy drive to the dunes being only 8 min away. Our family would definitely stay here again.

This is the fourth time we have stayed at Kirk & Angella’s place. It is a wonderful place. It’s very peaceful and quiet along with many things to do and see. Will definitely continue to come back. Their place doesn’t disappoint, they think of everything you could possibly need or may have forgotten. They are quick to respond if you have any questions.

This lakeside cabin is an idyllic vacation getaway for couples. It took some trial and error to able to use the listed appliances, but we managed to find a proper routine for using them. The hammock is set up in the perfect place under the trees. The sunsets are absolutely gorgeous. And, best of all, bubble wands. (Probably more intended for family use, but blowing bubbles is the ultimate way to relax.) 10 out of 10. Would booked again. P.S., If you drink coffee, you might wanna get some extra sugar to be safe. If Irina is provide extra sugar, then please disregard this postscript.

We choose Trevah’s place for our family weekend getaway. It was fun. My granddaughter enjoyed the spacious home. She answered our questions in a timely manner and was helpful getting us connected with the Marina to rent a pontoon for the day. Our family had a blast. The one thing that we all had to get used to was the lack of window shades, specially for the sunrise. Don’t get us wrong. We loved all the windows. But it was something to get used to. Definitely would will consider coming back. Thank you Trevah for sharing your home with us. Otherwise lovely home.

Perfect private cabin in the woods. It is far enough from downtown Saugatuck to avoid traffic but close enough that we could easily run back to relieve the dog when needed. About 7 minutes from downtown Saugatuck. There were so many amenities we didn't get to use (ran out of time), but were super nice to see like the fire pit and the sauna. It is super private and very well hidden. Maybe too well hidden. My only gripe regarding our stay was the initial finding of the driveway LOL. It looks more like a trail and it is RIGHT after the guardrail nearby. But hey, you can guarantee no one will stumble upon your private stay. The interior of this studio cabin was gorgeous and super clean. Overall, we ran out of time to explore all of Saugatuck and we will definitely be using this place again the next time we visit.

This was the second time we stayed. The cabin is wonderful, clean and well kept . The outdoor shower is a joy to use. Great fire pit location, wonderful place for a private and peaceful family get away. We hope to go annually.
