Kid-friendly holiday rentals in Lake Michigan Beach

The home was perfect for a multigenerational family vacation. The setting was absolutely beautiful. The kitchen was very functional. There was space and supplies for the toddler as well as the dogs. We enjoyed our stay.

Enjoyed a quick jaunt to Ludington for a single night stay… very direct, walkable site about 5-6 blocks from the SS Badger car ferry port. Clean and comfortable open concept spaces make it easy to enjoy conversation throughout home. Although site is away from any waterfront, view of boats in adjacent JC Marine still helped convey proximity to Lake Michigan. Would certainly book again for longer stay!

This is our second time staying at one of Joshua's properties in Saugatuck -- such a great location! An easy walk to shops and restaurants but far enough away from the downtown area for a quiet, relaxing getaway. We were able to check in early, which we really appreciated, and the space was clean and cozy. Joshua was very communicative and made us feel comfortable. We'll be back again next year!

Leah was a gracious host. Wonderful at communicating. The house was super stylish, and comfortable. Exactly like the pictures. No issues whatsoever. I felt very comfortable in her space and would love to visit again.

Gina, our host, was incredibly welcoming and kind. She sent updates prior to our visit with local recommendations for things to do, restaurants to dine at, and also knew it was our anniversary so left us a welcome gift at the house, which was so generous and thoughtful. The house is so clean and contemporary and just beautiful with all the comforts of home. We loved our stay there and hope to be back again soon.

Great private space on a quiet street. Lots of breweries and restaurants a quick drive away. Amenities were just as described and the space is in great condition.

This was my partner and I's 2nd time staying here and it was just as serene as the first time. It was more cloudy/overcast with some rain when we arrived- but for us that was perfect as it kept the sunroom cooler and made it so incredibly cozy. Our cats immediately felt relaxed as well, usually finding them lounging on the blanketed chairs. Kitchen stocked, previous guests left condiments (all were in date, no expired) which was really nice to not have to buy if we didn't want to. For us the main attraction was 100% the sun room, it's fully enclosed with windows that can be opened, it has a suspended chair that was comfy and sturdy enough to hold my 260 lbs without trouble at all. And there's so many pillows, blankets that it's just... why would you spend time anywhere else? We've stayed now during both winter and summer months and each time it's been lovely, fully recommend!

A grand historic home in a beautiful area made us feel like royalty. The place was beautifully and artistically furnished, the beds comfortable, and it was well-equipped. We found some great local cafes and restaurants. The Fairgrounds coffee is just around the corner. We walked to Brady St and all its bohemian fare. There was a wonderful low-key Thai restaurant nearby. We would definitely return to this wonderful place next time we are in Milwaukee.

Irene and Martin were very helpful and friendly. The place was cute and clean. It was exactly what I needed, peace and relaxation. The beach was a three minute walk and it wasn’t crowded. We brought firewood and outside by the fire pit there’s nice furniture and it feels like you’re in a little woodland area with nobody around.

We had a comfortable girls getaway. We were happy that they provided beach chairs and an umbrella available for us to use. Enjoyed being able to walk to the local Fluid Coffee House. Just a few minutes drive to the beach of Lake Michigan. Michigan City is a quiet little town close to Indiana Dunes and New Buffalo which is more vibrant.

We had an awesome long weekend at Morton's Retreat. We loved visiting Three Oaks and Sawyer, and going on a few short hikes nearby. We especially loved grabbing drinks at the Historian. The Airbnb is on a busy road, but there is a bike path that runs by it and it's a short walk to Luisa's Swedish bakery, which was excellent. The place was clean and even a bit larger than we expected. Great for a relaxing long weekend.

A wonderful and quiet space.

This place was nice and clean. Bigger than I expected from the pictures, very open and roomy. The host was very helpful, particularly with giving us heads up about street parking and such. She made every single effort to make sure we moved our car before it got towed. Which we did right in the nick of time. I'm definitely saving this place to stay next time I come to Milwaukee!

My best friend and I took our annual girl’s trip to Michigan and we are so glad we chose Amy & Derek’s place! It was peaceful and secluded. As silly as it may sound, we liked having the dehumidifier. The place we stayed at last year in Saugatuck had a lot of humidity, causing our stuff to be quite damp. It’s a nice touch! We loved being greeted by the kitties! Amy & Derek were friendly and accommodating! I recommend staying at their place! 💐

The condo was as advertised. Clean, organized, quiet and nicely decorated. We really enjoyed our annual family visit.

The place was fantastic, had a lovely stay Amy and David were fantastic with communication! the parking was easy once we figured out how to use the card (you need to hold it for about 3 seconds over the ticket machine. great location if you have transportation handy!

the stay I had was great. placement made it easy to walk to the beach and to restaurants that are around. the condo itself was just like the pictures roomy and felt just like home .

Perfect little spot! So close to the blue line, necessities nearby, great for a quick solar work trip. Bed is small and a little uncomfortable, and some things were a little off (medicine cabinet not fully attached to wall), but neither bothered me. Knew bed would be small from photos! Just a heads up for anyone that would worry about those. Will definitely be staying again if in Chi!

Our family of 4 really enjoyed our short 2 night midweek stay here. Excellent location that is close to the beach and downtown Saugatuck. The heated pool and gas fire pits were really nice after we got back from a day of exploring the area. Isabel’s was just a short walk across the parking lot - great bakery, coffee shop, and market with unique foodie options. We would love to come back here.

Thank you, Ashley, for a wonderful stay! We loved the privacy and comfort here, the ease of access to interstate and everywhere we wanted to explore. Very clean and calm! Appreciated the intentional touches - coffee, laundry pods, bug spray (mosquitoes were brutal one night). Covered parking spot was nice, great communication and availability/flexibility from host. Great, peaceful stay, we would return! Only tip for future guests is to bring an eye mask for sleeping, bedroom is a bit bright from outdoor lights.

Really lovely place to stay, comfortable flat in a quiet area. Couple of minutes' walk to buses and the blue line to get into the City. Ewa was very communicative and helpful, the place was clean, and I appreciated the selection of snacks and tea on arrival. Would definitely stay again if I visit Chicago.
