Our boat is on one side of the dock, and you’re welcome to use the other side for yours. There is a public boat ramp less than a mile away. Unique rustic cabin on a quiet cove of Lake Murray, a 500,000 acre lake in central South Carolina, perfect for fishing and all water sports. The cabin will sleep 4 adults or 2 adults and 3-4 children. The top loft bunk might be a bit claustrophobic for an adult. The doorways upstairs are low clearance, can be a head bumping hazard for anyone over 5'10 or so. Bed linens, bath and kitchen towels are provided.

Michelle and David’s place was amazing it was better than the pictures even portrayed amazing. It is a slice of paradise. The location was perfect. We didn’t have to leave our place. It had everything we needed . The bonus was a swimming pool and right on the lake , places to eat within 5-10 minutes. Don’t hesitate to rent this you will be amazed.

We had a terrific time at the cottage on Lake Murray! The house was exactly as expected—clean, cozy, and perfect for our family of five. While the kitchen is small, it has everything you need to cook meals at home. The dock was a highlight—we caught fish every evening with bait from the nearby gas station. The location is ideal. I took long walks through the state park and always felt safe, even without much of a shoulder on the road. The kayaks and paddleboards were the stars of the week—my kids and I had a blast on the water every day. This was our second time renting from Theresa, and once again, she proved to be a wonderful host—responsive, helpful, and full of great suggestions. The week was restorative, relaxing, and well worth the stay. Looking forward to coming back again!

Erin was a fantastic hostess—welcoming, attentive, and thoughtful throughout our stay. We absolutely loved our time at the house. The view of the lake is simply stunning and added a peaceful, scenic backdrop to each day. The home itself is charming and very well maintained. The kitchen is beautifully equipped—an absolute dream for anyone who enjoys cooking or just relaxing with a morning tea or coffee. We especially appreciated the incredibly cozy living room, which became our favorite spot to unwind in the evenings or when the weather turned rainy. One of the unexpected highlights of our trip was observing a hawk family nesting in a tree in the backyard. We were lucky enough to witness the parents bringing fish to feed their chicks—an unforgettable and magical experience that made our stay even more special. We’re so grateful for this wonderful getaway!
