House holiday rentals in Lake Nicaragua

My girl friend and I loved this place to escape, unwind, and enjoy quality time with each other in a place that had everything we needed. Go for a swim in the lagoon or pool with the company of two beautiful dogs. The property care takers took very good care of us and access to the property was simple.

Beautiful spot- steps from the beach which is such a bonus traveling with kids. The view from each balcony was so nice. The small private pool was perfect too. I was in the master bedroom and the a/c worked great at night. We brought our paddle boards and the bay was a perfect spot for that. We saw a sea turtle! Our host was very communicative and accommodating. The beach bar/restaurantwas very disappointing. The first day they didn’t have fruit so no smoothies or blended drinks. The second day all they had available was beer and shots. So bring your own drink and food so you don’t get stuck without! We were a little disappointed that the beautiful sliding patio doors didn’t have a screen so we couldn’t keep them open for an ocean breeze (flys and mosquitos). We had a wonderful time and will definitly come back!

The property is nestled in the heart of the Iguana community, close to the golf course. I truly enjoyed the privacy and peacefulness of the area. I fell in love with the design and the open layout of the living room, with its beautiful view of the trees. The local services are excellent—you can arrange for sourdough bread deliveries and pick up fresh fruit from the weekly market drop-off. I was able to work remotely with reliable Wi-Fi while still enjoying a fun surf vacation with friends. Aurelie was incredibly responsive and easy to reach, both by phone and in person at the property.

I stayed at this house last week in San Juan del Sur and I really loved it! The place was clean, comfortable, and exactly as described. The location was great—peaceful but still close to everything we needed. The host was friendly, responsive, and made sure we had everything for a great stay. It was perfect for relaxing with my family, and we felt very safe and welcome. I would definitely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting the area!

Words are hard to explain how beautiful this house is. It is very exclusive with its infinity pool and direct access to the pristine waters of Laguna de Apoyo. The house itself is impeccable with everything you could imagine and very well stocked for all of your cooking needs. Coffee lovers will be delighted by the coffee grinder and fresh coffee beans provided by staff to brew a fresh delicious pot of Nicaraguan coffee in the morning! I loved it so much I bought an extra bag of the beans! Another step further, the breakfast at the beach club with the option of them delivering to the house is amazing. Make sure to place your order early to give the staff enough time to cook and deliver to the house. The driveway to the house from the wooden gate is a bit steep so make sure you have a vehicle that’s 4x4 - our 15 passenger van barely made it back up. The host and all the staff members are amazing and very accommodating. I will definitely be returning in the future!

Casa Zagora es parte de un complejo de casas ubicadas a 400 mts del centro de Granada. La propiedad está muy bien mantenida, la decoración de la casa fue hecha con muy buen gusto. Las habitaciones son muy cómodas, cada una con su respectivo baño/ducha. La calle de acceso no tiene muy buen aspecto, sin embargo nosotros eramos un grupo de 6 personas y salimos de noche caminando sin ningún problema, en todo momento nos sentimos muy seguros

Having reviewed the pictures, description, and reviews ahead of making our reservation, we were not met with any surprises. Upon our 1 week stay we were particularly impressed with the thought that went into designing and staging the home. It sits at the intersection of lush greenery and the ocean. This makes for the most breathtaking views of the ocean, sunset, birds, or even monkeys swinging on the trees at a distance. One thing with planning and cost implications that we underestimated was the key need for a vehicle to get around. However, the host proactively provided a reliable solution for this along with recommendations for local spots and activities. We will gladly stay again

La casa es antigua y de madera, lo que le da una personalidad única y nostálgica. Está hermosamente decorada y tiene todas las comodidades que se esperan de un BnB. Tiene un espacio de jardín muy grande donde nuestra mascota pudo explorar y sentirse libre. Una excelente experiencia volveríamos de nuevo.

The house is amazing, you have access to the beach right in front of you, only recommendation for anybody is to bring your own food from a local supermarket as there is an hour drive off road(4x4 recommended) after reaching san juan, the place is very private, you have the beach for yourself, the house is very clean, enough rooms, and spacious. Local housekeeper was very useful as he can go buy you items at extra cost while you enjoy your time, final score 10/10.

Magnifique Maison perchée au dessus de la canopée , la maison est très agréable et complètement ouverte sur la nature dans la partie à vivre au premier étage avec une superbe terrasse et plein d’endroits pour Chill (grand hamac, salon d’extérieur , fauteuils) . La maison est très bien pensé, les chambres se situent au rez de chaussée avec une belle terrasse donnant sur les arbres, ainsi que la salle de bain. La décoration est minimaliste et s’intègre complètement dans l’espace. L’accès à la maison est assez difficile , aussi faut il obligatoirement prévoir un 4x4, particulièrement avec la saison des pluies qui débute car la piste est en terre et peut s’avérer glissante par temps de pluie . La pente est raide ainsi que la colline qui mène à Playa Madera . Une fois sur place , la marche jusqu’à la plage se fait en dix minutes. Il y a des restaurants et bar de plages ainsi que des locations de planche et cours de Surf 🏄🏽‍♂️ . Sebastian a été réactif et de bons conseils . Merci

The landscape and scenery were just spectacular! The place was so immaculately landscaped with plenty of lounge chairs and hammocks for relaxing. The caretaker was super helpful in getting us tours, restaurant suggestions and taking care of whatever we needed. The lake was beautiful and perfect temperature to swim in. We heard monkeys, roosters and tons of birds. It was a lovely jungle experience. The last night we had a major thunderstorm that lasted all night and we lost power so that was exciting and added to the full Nicaraguan experience. The road to get to the house is well paved, except the last 1/4 mile or so which was a rough dirt road so make sure you have an suv. I would definitely stay here again and for longer next time. There are restaurants a half mile away that are quite nice with equally great views.

Casa Makai was a true jungle paradise! The house itself was beautifully designed, even better than the photos, with comfy beds and a well-equipped kitchen. The outdoor space was amazing, perfect for relaxing in the hammock. It's a short 10min walk to Playa Maderas (great for surfing) and 3 min walk to Buena Vista Surf Club (excellent yoga). Laura was a fantastic host, very accommodating. Highly recommend!

We were lucky to book this place in San Juan. A real gem a short walk from town with great access to everything. The house is incredible with everything that you need to have a great time - jacuzzi, BBQ, amazing kitchen all surrounded by incredible views. if you book with Tanguy, you will not be disappointed! Encantada con las instalaciones, Jimmy y Sara super atentos, de igual manera su mayordomo. Es un lugar bellisumo con todo para sentirse como en nuestra propia casa, me encanto que cuentan con Generador Electrico de Emergencia. Pronto regresaremos nos ha fascinado mucho!

Nous avons passé un séjour de 2 mois plus-que-parfait. Anika et Tony ont été des hôtes super accueillants et très réactifs. Si vous souhaitez vous immerger dans une petite communauté nicaraguayenne authentique, c’est l’endroit qu’il vous faut. 3 plages à proximité, toutes accessibles à pied. Il y a un minimarket à 2 min à pieds pour tous les essentiels. Mon copain a fait du télétravail et le wifi était bien parfait. Un petit bijou! Nous y retournons l’an prochain.

Unbelievable location. Right on the beach in front of an amazing break. House is open and beautiful. Perfect indoor outdoor living. Just absolutely beautiful. We had an amazing week and fell in love with the community there. It’s a very special place and James is an excellent host- very responsive. We hope to be back!

My boyfriend and I absolutely loved this place!! The home is beyond beautiful and we enjoyed having two floors and access to anything we needed. The location is the shortest walk to the beach with gorgeous views and surf lessons in close proximity. We would stay here again!!

La casa de David tiene una ubicación perfecta frente a la playa, eso la hace única. Todos los días iba un personal hacer el aseo de todas las áreas incluyendo la piscina. La volvería a rentar definitivamente.

Excelente lugar, todo es como se ve en las fotos. Doña Sonia super amable. Las instalaciones muy limpias, organizadas y nuevas, buena seguridad y bien parqueo privado, un lugar genial para descansar. La carretera para llegar al sitio es excelente, hay varias playas cerca y muy bonitas. Los señores que cuidan las Villas son muy amables. Espero volver muy pronto, muchas gracias por todo.

Una casa espectacular la recomiendo al 100%, Don Eliecer siempre atento cuando lo contacte! El lugar súper seguro y de fácil acceso! La casa en sí está bien equipada y cuentan con un sistema bien tecnológico me encantó! Volvería 1 y mil veces
