Beachfront holiday rental in Lake Norman

We had a great stay! The host was wonderful and very accommodating, making everything easy and comfortable for our family. The place was clean, well-equipped, and in a great location. We had so much fun, and our kids especially enjoyed it. We’d definitely love to come back!

I wish I was allowed to say more than a few words because it’s soooooo much I can say about this home! The view… is AMAZING!!! Omg! No matter which room you’re inside every view is wonderful! The home looks so beautiful and the pictures do no justice! The decor is top notch and it set the tone for a peaceful getaway. The home is so spacious! The children all crashed in the upstairs bedroom/loft instead of sleeping in separate bedrooms because that room itself is huge! And the beds are all comfortable! I struggle with sleeping but the kids said they came inside the room where I slept and I was knocked out. They said I was snoring like a baby and they recorded me because I was resting so well. It’s so much for the children to do! And they felt welcomed. We were left the cutest welcome snack basket and then a separate fruit basket with juice! This Airbnb was breathtaking! The host is super friendly, helpful and very professional! The home is clean and I can’t wait to book again. Thanks!

Wonderful location on the north end of Lake Norman. Very close to everything in Mooresville with great waterfront dining options and tons of easy-to-access grocery stores. I didn’t necessarily pay close enough attention to the listing to notice that there isn’t a full kitchen, however, the hosts provided all kinds of utensils, a full-sized refrigerator, a microwave, a very nice toaster over/air fryer and an electric skillet. There’s also a great Weber grill, which we used for filets! So the lack of a full kitchen, definitely did not end up being a big deal! Note, there is only one bathroom, but it’s very nice. However, the shower is a tub/shower combo, and requires you to step pretty high to get in, so if you have issues with that, keep that in mind. That said, they have the highest quality shower doors I have ever seen, and very nice shower hardware. Super nice! Dock and covered area was great, as was the fire pit. Also amazing to have access to kayaks! Thank you so much!

Sweetwater cottage was such a cozy and relaxing spot. It is also close to local restaurants and shops. We came to the area to watch the Coca Cola 600 race. Georgia was extremely helpful and quick to respond to any questions I had.

Wonderful lake home, perfect for a family getaway and probably the best Airbnb we have stayed in to date. The house was exactly as advertised, stunning lake views, extremely well-appointed, spotless, easy check-in/out, and great hosts who were very responsive to all of our questions. My family enjoyed all the amenities the house had to offer but loved the outside activities (firepit, kayaks and paddle boards) the best. A fantastic lake home.

We had such a great time! I’m rather picky about where I stay when it comes to airbnb’s bc they can be a hit or miss. This one is a hit! Super private, dog friendly, clean, safe environment, and the host was extremely welcoming & helpful! We stayed for 3 nights & had a blast. There’s restaurants 5 minutes away, the house is in a beautiful neighborhood, the dock is super safe ( I jumped in the water)! My husband is recovering from a back surgery so he wasn’t able to enjoy the lake as much but the record player in the house & the ambiance of the lake & backwoods was just what he needed to relax. The first night we built a fire & enjoyed a glass of wine. The 2nd & 3rd night we ate at Papa Doc’s. Our dog loved chasing sticks in and out of the lake! Great trip all around. We’ll def be staying here again!

We just returned from 5 days at Austin's house on Lake Norman. Wow, there is nothing which could have made it better. First, have rented many places over the years; no one comes close to how well they treat their renters than Austin. He was always available, quick to reply and easy to reach. We encountered a couple of issues and Austin fixed them immediately. The house is furnished with everything one could want. The water items (boat and kayaks) made the time on the lake the most enjoyable it could be. The house is kept in pristine condition. Oh, forgot to mention the amazing hot tub and fire pit. Our grand daughters particularly loved roasting marshmallows over the fire pit to make s'mores for everyone. Like us, you will be thrilled with your choice when you rent this home.

I cannot say enough good things about Julie’s place. My husband and I spent our 39th wedding anniversary there. It was very private. We were able to dock our boat at there dock . It was nice to go out on the water several times a day. We were able to sit outside and enjoy the lake and campfire at night. I am looking at dates to return as soon as possible. Thank you for a wonderful time!

My son and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Marsha’s place! It was very peaceful and the perfect spot for us to relax in between games at a local tournament. Marsha has thought of everything you would need! We hope to come back again when we are not as busy and be able to enjoy the lake more! I would definitely stay again and highly recommend!

This was one of the most thoughtful places we’ve stayed!!!! Ashley and Dave left no stone unturned. We had everything we needed and more. The outside space is amazing! So incredibly peaceful. Perfect for a family getaway. We enjoyed meals on the screened in patio and morning coffee by the water. I didn’t want to leave.

We were there to visit family. It was a perfect location for us. Minutes from family and restaurants and other outings. The house was very nice. Kids were able to fish, be outside and go for walks during any downtime. Chris was great to deal with. Offered options for us. Replied very quickly to questions and requests. We’re looking forward to another visit there!

Beautiful property! Ideal proximity to Rock Barn Spa & Golf and great restaurants (Fourk!) but so private and peaceful.

Our group of 8 stayed here as a base while we attended our college reunion. The open space in the house was great and we had lots of space for sleeping. It was great to take in time on the dock with coffee and we enjoyed the kayak and paddleboard. Grilling setup outside was perfect for a large meal at the house, and kitchen is well stocked with utensils, etc. enjoyed a lovely weekend here!

Absolutely phenomenal stay at Lance and Karin’s home in Lake Wylie, South Carolina! From the moment we arrived, we were blown away by the modern old-day charm of the house — a perfect blend of cozy warmth and tasteful design. But what truly sets this place apart is the breathtaking view of the lake right in the backyard. Whether you’re into swimming, canoeing, or just lounging in the beach chairs by the water, there’s something incredibly calming about being so close to nature. And if that’s not enough, the large deck off the back of the house is ideal for sitting back, relaxing, and taking it all in. As someone who uses Airbnb regularly, I can honestly say this home is a 10 out of 10. My children and wife enjoyed every single minute — from the water activities to just spending quality time together in such a peaceful setting. Hunters communication was excellent. He was flexible with check in & check out times (had to pay). If I could change one thing it would be the check-in & check-out times. It is not a hotel and should be more accommodating since this large of a rental is for many people, having late check in and early check out doesn’t make sense to me. Overall the home was beautiful, peaceful surroundings, we loved the home. I would love if more toilet trees were included not only 1 trash bag & 1 toilet paper per bathroom, for the price. I would rent again, felt safe and welcomed! Thank you hunter!

We had an amazing stay here! The property is beautiful and quiet. The dock and kayaks were lots of fun. The yard was perfect for yard games—which there were tons of! Board games and books kept my kids occupied when they weren’t out swimming. The house was spotless and the kitchen very well equipped. We didn’t miss anything! Wishlist was very quick with communication and accommodating with an early check in and late check out! I would highly recommend and would love to be back one day!
