Holiday rentals with a fireplace in Lake of Bays

The place was a beautiful cottage, very well decorated and extremely clean! The place had everything you could ever need and Ryan and Bryan were extremely quick to respond and accommodating. I would 100% stay here again!

The house was very clean, bright and cozy with all the amenities necessary for a great stay. Short distance to all the stores and restaurants, as well as two Provincial Parks. Would highly recommend this place to those visiting/exploring Huntsville.

The rental place is clean and well organized. Nina is quick to respond. Will definitely recommend to anyone looking for a place in the area.

Shiyu was a great host. What an amazing and peaceful cottage. We made some great memories there. Shiyu was very responsive and helpful. The place looks exactly, even better than pictures in real life. Shiyu accommodated us in best way possible. Totally worth getting this place for the weekend and spending time with family. Definitely booking it again soon. I would recommend 100% this property if you want to spend quality time with your loved ones.

My best friend and I were looking for a place to go for a girls getaway. We both desperately needed to relax and unwind. Devon’s place was exactly what we hoped for. The hot tub and sauna were an added bonus. If you need peace, are looking to rest and relax or even go someplace close to amenities but that still feels secluded Devon’s little slice of heaven is exactly the spot you need. We will definitely be booking for a future girls trip for sure! 💗 5⭐️ place!

We had a wonderful stay! Cottage was clean upon arrival with easy access. There were lots of activities to keep busy both indoor and outdoors. Lots of space to enjoy within the cottage as well. We especially enjoyed the hot tub during a cooler day!

It’s a beautiful place to relax. Very clean and well organized. Unfortunately nothing to do around. Even park with falls was closed at the time. But we enjoyed our stay and highly recommend David as a host.

We had a wonderful stay with my family and two dogs. The home was clean, beautifully decorated, and felt very welcoming from the moment we arrived. We especially loved the peaceful, quiet surroundings and being close to nature—it made for such a relaxing getaway. Our dogs also enjoyed exploring the area. What an absolutely gorgeous place with not even the smallest details overlooked. Cathy was friendly, kind and extremely easy to deal with. Everything was exactly as described but even more beautiful in person. We were so impressed! My Mom and I enjoyed the cozy living room after cooking a meal in the perfectly appointed kitchen. We enjoyed Netflix on the large TV and a great soak in the comfortable hot tub. The property was absolutely mesmerizing and we spent at least an hour walking about, admiring the countless decorations. The bed was luxurious and everything was clean and in great condition. Cathy also made time for us personally, showing us around the entire property when we asked to see it. Thank you so much for a memorable stay, Cathy! We cannot wait to come back.

A fabulous beach front location, within steps of a sandy and shallow waterfront. Tess and Jeff are great hosts and extremely helpful. The accommodation is super cosy and much bigger than expected. It had everything we needed and more! The kitchenette may be small but it is well stocked and we didn’t have any issues with cooking. The BBQ is a gas one and very good. We enjoyed eating outside on the large sized deck. Even though it’s shared with the owners, the privacy screen was ample. The beach was pretty quiet and made for a relaxing stay. We sadly didn’t get to witness any sunsets since it was a little cloudy, but you can see how amazing it would be! Thank you Tess and Jeff for your kind hospitality.

My wife and I really enjoyed our stay. Robin’s house was located very close to all the arena’s in Peterbourgh. We were there to watch our grandson play lacrosse. Hopefully they will return next year to this tournament. I will definetly be rebooking Robin’s loft. It was just as advertised. I also appreciated the selection of coffees. We fell in love with this place the first time we visited four years ago. This time, we felt it was even better than we remembered. It is obvious that Taurean pays attention to detail and thinks of every angle to ensure his guests feel like they have found exactly what they were looking for—whether it's a home away from home, a relaxing vacation, or a work getaway. Wonderful hosts with outstanding HOT homemade breakfasts! Really appreciated the extra perks of magnifier make-up mirror, house coat, lush towels, several Keurig coffee pod choices and 2 choices for my own private exterior sitting area. Level access and close parking to entrance, extra wide interior doors. MaryAnn was spot on for my food choices even including 10% cream for my morning coffee and crisp bacon. Very large space with two large bedrooms, slept like a baby and the TV included all the streaming you would want Close to Art College and short drive into town of Haliburton. It was a bit chilly for June but Gerry turned on the propane fireplace then all was cozy. Book it - you won't be disappointed!

Our hosts Ron and Susan were very quick to respond to all queries. They were helpful and friendly. Check in was very easy and Susan showed us around the property. The property was clean and spacious with a nautical themed decor. It is as shown on the photos located on the banks of the lake. The surroundings are beautiful. A car is essential for getting around in the Huntsville area and the parking space was always available as described. The kitchen was well equipped to cook meals. A large supermarket is close by (10 min) drive. This is an ideal location for exploring the beautiful Canadian countryside. We would recommend staying here. Thank you Susan and Ron

Very accommodating for young children!! I would stay again anytime. My only complaint would be the extra cost we had to pay for bbq, bbq was clearly listen in the ammmenities but upon arrival discovered a 25$ sign on the bbq. We planned our day so we could be at the bnb for supper and save a little bit of money only to discover the added cost. That should be stated in the listing prior to booking.

It was extremely close to Deerhurst Golf Club, which was super convenient, and also within reasonable driving distance to other great courses like Lake Joseph and Taboo. The hosts were very responsive—when the propane ran out, they had it replaced right away, which we really appreciated. A couple of small things to note: the large stove wasn’t working properly, and the dock on the right side was damaged and partially submerged, so we avoided using it. But those were minor issues compared to everything else being up to par. Would definitely stay again!

Our group had a great stay at Mina’s place! The home was exactly as pictured — clean, spacious, and really comfortable for a group. There was more than enough room for everyone to relax, and the setup made it easy for us to spend time together without feeling crowded. Firstly, this home was the nicest vacation home my family and I have EVER stayed at. It was very spacious, luxurious finishes throughout , it fit my family of 7 very well. The rooms are all good sizes. There are 4 rooms with beds in them, an office on the main floor that we put a crib in for the baby and an additional room in the basement which could be used as a bedroom if you bring a blowup mattress. The backyard is huge, the playground set was a great treat for my kids, however the hot tub did not seem like it was operable. Mina our host was absolutely AMAZING! Her response time to any of our enquires was very prompt, she made sure we truly enjoyed our stay. We would have loved if the home had blackout curtains as the rooms get quite bright in the morning when the sun comes up, but it wasn't the end of the world. All in all, it was an AMAZING STAY! Definitely recommended!!

Great plce to stay

This home is beautiful and well equipped. Giovanni was pleasant and responded quickly to inquiries. My only suggestion would be for visitors to check the beds before choosing rooms, as some bed are firm and others quite soft.

Great place for families. Super comfy beds. Activities and restaurants are wonderful. Would love to return.
